📖 Standard Lord's Prayer: Seek 1st The Father's Loving Fellowship w/ Son in The Holy Spirit, His Honor, Kingdom & Will; Then Our Needs are Added: Petitions for Provision; (Relationship with God and Others -- Forgiveness for Us & Them), Protection: Kept from Sin & Evil, Matt 6:9-13, c.f. Matt 6:33...

📖 "Pray, then, after this manner... 🙌 ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your Kingdom Come! Your Will be done, On Earth as it is in Heaven!”

🙏"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, c.f., Matt 6:33, "But seek first The Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and all these other things shall be added to you," thank You in Jesus' Name[/size]

We join you in lifting up the pattern our Lord Jesus gave us when He said Pray like this in Matt 6:9-13, and we rejoice that you have centered your heart on seeking first the Father and His Kingdom.

We agree that this prayer teaches us divine order. We are to seek first His honor, His Kingdom and His will before we bring our own petitions, just as Jesus taught in Matt 6:33 But seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. When we put Him first, our needs for provision, for forgiveness and reconciliation, and for protection are added unto us according to His mercy and not our merit.

We love how you have noted that we first enter into loving fellowship with the Father through the Son in the Holy Spirit. For it is only through Jesus that we can call Him Our Father in heaven. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Matt 6:9 we pray may your name be kept holy, hallowing His name above all else. In Matt 6:10 we surrender to His reign, Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth, desiring His will on earth as it is perfectly done in heaven.

Then we bring our needs with humble dependence. We pray together Give us today our daily bread in Matt 6:11, trusting Him for daily provision and not anxious striving. We pray Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors in Matt 6:12, remembering that our relationship with God and our relationships with others are bound together, and that we must forgive as we have been forgiven as taught in Eph 4:32 and Col 3:13. And we pray Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one in Matt 6:13, asking for His keeping power to guard us from sin and from evil itself, for we know in 1 Cor 10:13 that God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

We pray together now, Our Father in heaven, we hallow Your holy name and we thank You that through Jesus Christ Your Son we have been adopted as Your children and can come boldly to Your throne. Let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives, in our families, in our church and in this world as it is in heaven. We seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness this day. Give us today our daily bread, provide for every need according to Your riches in glory. Forgive us our debts as we forgive those who have sinned against us, create in us clean hearts and help us to release all bitterness and walk in reconciliation. Lead us away from temptation and deliver us from the evil one, keep our feet from stumbling and our hearts from evil. For Yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. We ask and agree together in the precious and only saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing this beautiful focus on the Lord's Prayer. We can hear how much you want to put the Father first, His honor and His will, before bringing your own needs. That ordering is so steadying.

What struck us in what you wrote is that fellowship part, seeking first His presence with us through Jesus before we list requests. When we start there, our daily needs for provision, forgiveness and protection fall into a different place. We are not trying to get God's attention, we are already with Him and talking as His children.

If it helps, one simple way to live this pattern this week is to pray the prayer slowly, pausing after each phrase to make it your own. Hallowed be Your name, then Your kingdom come in this situation at work or home, then give us today what we need. No need to rush or get the words perfect, just letting each line shape the next.

We are grateful for your hunger for God's kingdom and we are praying with you.

Father, thank You for drawing us into fellowship with You through Your Son. We ask You to be honored in our lives today and for Your will to be done in the places we are concerned about. Provide what we need, forgive us and help us forgive others, and keep us from evil. We trust You for this day in Jesus' name, Amen.

It is a blessed and heavenly order which our Lord has taught you, and you do well to mark it. He would have us seek first the Father, His honor, His kingdom and His will, and then to bring our own needs as children to a Father's feet. This is the very spirit of that word, But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these other things shall be added unto you.

You have asked rightly, Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. So let it be our first desire that God be glorified, that Christ be exalted, that the Holy Spirit have His way in us and in all the earth. And when the heart is thus set upon God Himself, then we may with holy confidence bring our petitions for daily bread, for pardon, for keeping and for deliverance.

You must feel, in any case, that God's will must be done. You must still continue to pray, for you do not know what God's will is, but you must pray with resignation, after your Saviour's perfect model in the garden of Gethsemane, Nevertheless not as I will, but as You will. God's sovereignty encloses you and His angels surround you, and He abides the same forever, so that we have firm ground for confidence.

And what a mercy is contained in the next petition, Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. There is forgiveness with Him, and that forgiveness is divine, surprising, complete and everlasting. It is not a forgiveness which is promised for some distant day, but God blots out our sin now, at the moment the sinner believes on Jesus Christ His Son. For it cannot be that there should be no forgiveness since Jesus died, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God. If you tremble and shake for fear and with a penitent heart desire forgiveness, hear this word, There is forgiveness. There is forgiveness with You. It is to be had now through the blood of Christ, and he who is once forgiven is forgiven to all eternity. And because we have in Him so full a forgiveness, we learn the joint business of mutual forgiveness, forgiving one another even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven us.

Then you pray, Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Here is your comfort, Thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek Thee. Though Satan shoot his fiery dart and whisper that God's ear is shut, that promise is your buckler. He that seeks Christ shall find that Christ has not forsaken him. And we have a far richer theme for song than Deborah had, for we have been delivered from worse enemies and saved by a greater salvation. The Lord Jesus has wrought deliverance, and His kingdom and power and glory are forever.

So continue at the mercy seat. Seek His face, seek His kingdom, seek His righteousness, and trust Him for provision, for pardon, for preservation and for final deliverance, for it is Your kingdom, Your power and Your glory forever. Amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your power to intervene. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
