πŸ™"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, c.f., Matt 6:33, "But seek first The Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and all these other things shall be added to you," thank You in Jesus' Name.

[1] Jesus' Prayer He told us to pray was an outline, summary of topics, or "pattern prayer;" the following has been condensed from six reliable sources, is of much godly & personal value when sincerely prayed (not mindlessly repeated, but through serious consideration, understanding the wisdom of the requests, ardently prayed, James 5:16-17...

πŸ™Œ Our Father in Heaven, we first pause and thank You "so loving the world You gave Your Only-begotten Son!, Jn 3:16. Thank You "Jesus showed us The Father -- Your Nature," Jn 14:9. Thank You for His shed blood on the cross for our sins, His death, burial, resurrection and ascension to pour out the Holy Spirit of Adoption from on high, by which we call out, Abba, Father, Gal 4:6, proving we are heirs, Gal 4:7, since as many as received Jesus and believed on His Name are called Children of God, John 1:12-13, praying even with the same language of intimacy, Abba, i.e., "Daddy" or "Pappa, etc" as Jesus used in time of impending crisis for deliverance in the Garden of Gethsemane, "Abba, Father," Mark 14:36.

πŸ™ Hallowed Be Your Name... May Your GRACIOUS and COMPASSIONATE NAME, Ex 34:6-7, get honor through our thoughts, words, deeds, speech, actions and reactions. May we honor and know You in every Name You have revealed about Yourself in The Scriptures -- Elohim, Gen 1:1; The Name, Gen 4:26, El Elyon, God Most High, Gen 14:18, Adonai, Lord, Master, Gen 15:2; El Roi, The God Who Sees, Gen 16:13; El Shaddai, God Almighty, Gen 17:1; El Olam, The Everlasting God, Gen 21:33; Yahweh, The LORD, Yireh, Our Provider, Gen 22:18; Healer, Peace, Shepherd, Righteousness, Presence, Sanctification, Our Rock, Fortress, Strong Tower, Etc... We honor and hallow ALL Your Titles, Attributes, Your Name! May Your Name not be used to curse or in vain, Ex 20:7, and may our lives and conduct cause it to be reverenced, not derided, Rom 2:24. May the world be enlightened or compelled to reverence Your ineffable Name and Your Christ's and May Your Glory cover the Earth as the waters cover the seas, Numbers 14:21, Ps 72:19, Isa 11:9, Hab 2:14, Phil 2:10-11...

πŸ™ May Your Kingdom Come to us & through us with FRUIT of The Holy Spirit, see Rom 14:17 on what the Kingdom is -- His Righteousness, peace and joy, therefore ALL the fruit is an extension of His Kingdom, from LOVE, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, Gal 5:22-23, truth, humility & justice, Ps 45:4, contentment, Lk 3:14, 1 Tim 6:6, Heb 13:5, Phil 4:11-13, doing justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with God, Micah 6:8. You desire mercy, not sacrifice, Hos 6:6. We ask for the GIFTS of The Spirit to be evident in us, our churches, families, and to Your people throughout the world, from ministry GIFTS to equip The Body of Christ through Your Gospel Officers until we reach unity in faith and knowledge of The Son of God and the mature stature of Christ Himself, Eph 4:12-13, (which has not yet happened so such workers must of necessity still be present and are much needed, even required, (again, see the reason they're given and conclude we haven't reached The Lord's goal yet, so they're still needed), Eph 4:13, apostles, (missionaries/church planters), prophets, (encouragers/exhorters/visionaries), evangelists, pastors and teachers), Eph 4:11-13, to The GIFTS of miracles (signs, wonders), healings, faith, prophecy, words of wisdom, knowledge, tongues, interpretation of such tongues, administration, leadership, giving, mercy, discerning of spirits, Rom 12:5-8, 1 Cor 12:4-11. POWER: Drive out demons by the finger of God, demonstrating The Kingdom of God, Lk 11:20, for The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power, 1 Cor 4:20. May Your Son return and the Kingdom flourish, being fully manifest. Come quickly Lord Jesus, Rev 22:17, Rev 22:20. Mostly the POWER to live a Holy Life overflowing with LOVE for God and others, singing and making melody from "singing seminaries" and "the walking practice of evangelism" is the best fruit and sign of the Kingdom, Heb 12:4. ***We also want to ask for Jesus' Return, so we may experience a whole other realm (I refer to it as 8.0 based upon the 7 covenants God revealed in Redemptive History (whether they all dealt with us individually or not is irrelevant, they are still part of the history of redemption when humans had workings and dealings with God expressing His thoughts toward humans, the New Covenant -- "the already "is the 7th, where we are redeemed, have peace with God, are indwelt with the Holy Spirit, are part of "New Creation" though only a "foretaste of the good things to come." The change our bodies will incur and all creation eagerly awaits is our hope in Romans 8 and latter Revelation and is the 8th I'm calling 8.0 where ALL of these things will be realized in a greater capacity and duration and God's Kingdom will have full expression once it's fully come on earth as it is heaven again -- the "not yet," -- "May Your Kingdom Come and Your Will be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven," Matt 6:10.

πŸ™ May Your Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven -- Keeping in mind the Kingdom Coming, as described above, in differing degrees, the already and the not yet, we ask here in the already that we may know, submit to and do Your will for our lives individually and collectively as the church, as Jesus did during His time on earth, Phil 2:9-9, our whole lives be increasingly lived to please You, knowing the Trinity, living in Your presence moment by moment, and making You known as a by product, rejoicing in trials and weakness, as well as power demonstrations when it gives You glory, Mt 28:19-20, Rom 1:5, Rom 15:18. May we abide in Christ, with freedom to pray, and power to bear fruit, thereby making disciples, and thus proving we are disciples, John 15:7-8, might bear some fruit wherever we go, Rom 1:13, 1 Cor 9:2, 2 Cor 3:2-3, specifically by going, preaching faith in Jesus suffering and dying for our sins, repentance, baptism, forgiveness of sins and obedience to all that He commanded, being witnesses to these facts under His authority, commission by this union with Jesus through The Holy Spirit, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:46-48, Matt 28:19-20, John 20:21, Acts 1:8. May Your will be done on earth as You rule over the church and nations, Ps 22:28, and arrive in fulness at the Return of Christ.

<β€”β€”β€”--------β€”β€”β€” β€”β€”β€”(Selah)β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”----β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”>

πŸ™ Give us Each Day our Daily Bread: Spiritual -- we can't live by bread alone but every Word of God, Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, Lk 4:4. Meet our spiritual, emotional, social, physical and financial needs mightily, Phil 4:19, so we can love You with all our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances, Mk 12:30, and our neighbors, Mk 12:31, even the lost, Matt 9:36, and even enemies, Matt 5:44, as ourselves -- and see others as Christ, who looked beyond his own interests, to the interests of others, considering others as more important than we, Phil 2:1-5.

πŸ™ Forgive Our Debts as We Forgive Our Debtors... We confess we've sinned against You, Rom 3:23, 1 Jn 1:8, 1 Jn 1:10 (name specific sins and areas of ongoing struggles), and others, receive forgiveness, Lk 1:77, & pray FOR those who sin against us, (by name and specific offenses), asking they'd repent and be saved, Job 42:7-16, entrusting their souls to a faithful creator and recognizing it is He who alone who is in fact the one appointed both to save and to judge, Romans 12:9, 1 Pet 4:19.

πŸ™ Lead us Not into Temptation, but Deliver us from evil... Keep us from temptation and evil, Luke 11:4, sin, 2 Cor 13:7, lies, evil, fear, Zeph 3:13, evil people, imposters, deception, 2 Tim 3:13, false believers, 2 Cor 11:16, 2 Tim 3:5, Tit 1:16, temptation and the evil one, Mat 6:13, Jn 17:15. Give us angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14.

πŸ™Œ For It's Your Kingdom, (Everlasting Kingdom which Cannot Be Destroyed, Dan 7:18), It's Your Power, (All Power in Heaven and Earth has been Given to Me, Matt 28:18), and Your Glory, Forever... (Not unto us O Lord, but unto Your Name Be Glory, Ps 115:1)... We Thank You for hearing, Mk 11:24, Amen, in Jesus' Name, in Him All The Promises of God are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join with you in thanking our Father for the pattern Jesus gave us for prayer and we agree that it is not to be mindlessly repeated but to be prayed with understanding and earnest faith.

Jesus said Pray like this Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy Matt 6:9 and He taught us to seek first Gods Kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well Matt 6:33. We love how you have laid out this prayer to seek first the Father and His honor and His Kingdom and His will before we bring our own daily needs for provision and forgiveness and deliverance. This is the right order and it keeps our hearts aligned with His purposes.

We also remember the warning not to use vain repetitions as the Gentiles do Matt 6:7, so we pray this outline not as empty words but with thoughtful adoration and submission. We thank You Father for so loving the world that You gave Your one and only Son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life John 3:16. We thank You that Jesus has shown us the Father John 14:9 and that through His shed blood and resurrection we have received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry Abba Father Gal 4:6 and to all who received Him and believed in His name He gave the right to become children of God John 1:12. We cherish that we may come as Jesus did in Gethsemane saying Abba Father Mark 14:36 with intimate confidence.

We pray with you that Your name would be hallowed in our thoughts and words and deeds. We ask that Your gracious and compassionate name as revealed to Moses that Yahweh is a merciful and gracious God slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness Ex 34:6 would be honored in us and not taken in vain Ex 20:7 and that our lives would not cause Your name to be blasphemed among others Rom 2:24. We long for the day when the earth will be filled with the knowledge of Your glory as the waters cover the sea Hab 2:14 and at the name of Jesus every knee will bow Phil 2:10.

We pray may Your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven Matt 6:10. We ask that Your Kingdom which is righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit Rom 14:17 would be evident in us through the fruit of the Spirit which is love joy peace patience kindness goodness faith faithfulness gentleness and self control Gal 5:22. We ask for grace to do justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with our God Micah 6:8 and to be equipped through the gifts You have given to the church apostles prophets evangelists pastors and teachers for the building up of the Body until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God Eph 4:11. We pray for power not merely in talk but in holy living for the Kingdom of God is not in word but in power 1 Cor 4:20 and that You would keep us from evil and deliver us from the evil one Matt 6:13 and John 17:15, giving Your angels charge over us Ps 91:11.

We bring before You our daily needs as You taught us to pray Give us today our daily bread Matt 6:11. We acknowledge that man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of Gods mouth Matt 4:4 and we trust You to supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus Phil 4:19 so that we may love You with all our heart soul mind and strength Mark 12:30 and love our neighbors as ourselves Mark 12:31 and even love our enemies Matt 5:44.

We confess our sins before You for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God Rom 3:23 and if we confess our sins He is faithful and righteous to forgive us 1 John 1:9. We ask You to forgive us our debts as we also forgive our debtors Matt 6:12 and we choose to forgive those who have sinned against us and to pray for them entrusting judgment to You who judges righteously. We ask You to lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil Matt 6:13 and to keep us from the paths of deception and falsehood.

We rejoice that Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. For Yours is an everlasting Kingdom which shall not be destroyed Dan 7:18 and all authority has been given to Jesus in heaven and on earth Matt 28:18 and not to us O Lord but to Your name be glory Ps 115:1. We thank You that You hear us when we pray according to Your will and that in Jesus all the promises of God are Yes and Amen 2 Cor 1:20.

Father we pray that as we pray this pattern daily You would deepen our intimacy with You, conform us to the image of Christ, and make us faithful witnesses who go and make disciples of all nations Matt 28:19. We ask for Your will to be done in our lives individually and in Your church collectively and we look with hope for the return of our Lord Jesus. We ask all of this in the precious and only name by which we have access to You and by which we are saved, the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, for there is salvation in no one else for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the Father except through me John 14:6. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this thoughtful outline of the Lord's Prayer. We can hear your desire to seek the Father first, to honor Him, and then to bring your daily needs, forgiveness, and protection before Him with sincerity rather than just repeating words.

Holding such a full pattern in one sitting can feel like a lot, and it helps to remember that growing in prayer is more like training over time than trying to get it all right at once. Small, steady moments of turning to God shape us gradually, and that takes pressure off feeling like every prayer must cover everything perfectly.

One simple way to keep this pattern alive without it becoming heavy is to linger on just one part each day this week. One morning you might pause on what it means that He is your Father who sees and provides, another day on asking for daily bread for what you actually need that day, another on forgiveness given and received, using your own honest words as they come. Letting the outline guide a real conversation can keep it fresh and personal.

We are grateful for your heart to know Him more and are praying for you as you continue.

Father, thank You for inviting us to come to You as our Father and for hearing us when we pray. Draw our friend close this week, give peace and clarity in Your presence, and help each part of this prayer become more personal and real. Lead and keep them in Your love. In Jesus' name, amen.

The prayer which our Master taught his disciples when they said, Lord teach us to pray, is indeed as the holy of holies of the Word of God, and your meditation upon it has been received with thankfulness. You have rightly seen that it is not to be mindlessly repeated as a form, but prayed as a breathing desire, living words from the heart, with serious consideration of the wisdom of each petition.

You begin where our Lord begins, with the Father. How sweet is that word Abba, Father, which we are enabled to cry by the Spirit of adoption, not as strangers but as heirs through the shed blood and resurrection of the Son. To say Hallowed be Thy name is to ask that His gracious and compassionate name may be reverenced in our thoughts, words and deeds, and that our lives may not cause it to be derided but glorified, that His glory may cover the earth as the waters cover the seas. This is the very sanctification for which our Lord prayed, Sanctify them through Thy truth, Thy word is truth. Holiness is an essential qualification for fitness in the service of the kingdom, and we are to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, that all else may be added according to His will.

Your petition, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, is well expressed. The kingdom of God is righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost, and its fruit is seen in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control, in doing justly and loving mercy and walking humbly with our God. We pray that His will may be done in us as it is done by the bright ones above, that we may abide in Christ, bear fruit, and make known His gospel, and that the power which belongs to His kingdom may be seen most of all in a holy life overflowing with love to God and to our neighbor.

For daily bread you have asked aright, not for bread alone but for every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God to feed our souls, and for the supply of our temporal needs that we may love Him with heart and soul and mind and strength, and do good to others. He who has taught us to pray, Give us this day our daily bread, will not leave His children to lack any good thing which is for their profit, though He may at times keep us waiting that our faith may be tried.

And how needful is that next petition, Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. There is forgiveness with Thee that Thou mayest be feared. This is a matter of certainty, and its character is unlimited. Where God draws no limit, let us draw none. There is forgiveness, and that forgiveness is only to be obtained from God through Jesus Christ His Son. It is a divine forgiveness, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions, and it is complete and eternal for all who are in Christ. He not only forgave us at the first, but He continues daily to forgive, for the act of forgiveness is continuous. Yet the very prayer that teaches us to ask for mercy bids us say, as we forgive. Unless we have forgiven others we read our own death warrant when we repeat the Lord's prayer, but when we have tasted so much manifest forgiveness, to forgive should become as natural as to open our hands.

You close as our Lord closed, Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Deliverance is of the Lord, but it must be accomplished by human instrumentality, and chiefly by prayer. There is a prayer treasury, and we must all put prayers into it. Neglect prayer and you will soon discover that all your spiritual powers wax weak, but he that is mighty on his knees is mighty everywhere. The evil one still shoots his arrows, and would draw us away, but the Lord is able to keep us from sin and lies and fear and deception, and to give His angels charge over us. When prayer seems to have no return of blessing and Satan whispers that God hath forsaken you, remember Jacob at Jabbok who crossed full of fear and yet found his brother fall upon his neck, and remember that the arrow of the Lord's deliverance still flies.

We join our prayers with yours, that the Father may be hallowed, His kingdom extended, His will obeyed, your wants supplied, your sins forgiven, your soul kept from the hour of temptation and delivered from the evil one, and that all may be to His glory. May the Lord hear your voice and be attentive to the voice of your supplications, and sanctify you wholly through His truth, till His kingdom come in power and you stand complete in Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

πŸ™Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your thoughtful meditation on the prayer the Lord taught us is received with thanksgiving, and we join you in praying after this manner as He commanded. You have rightly seen that it is not a formula to be mindlessly repeated but a pattern that orders our desires. It teaches us to seek first the Father and His honor, His kingdom and His will, and then to bring our own needs for provision, forgiveness and deliverance, as it is written, seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you.

We begin where you began, with the wonder that we may call God Father at all. This name belongs to those who have believed on Christ and received adoption. He gave us baptism for the remission of sins and deliverance from judgment and an inheritance of the kingdom, and He shed abroad His Spirit into our hearts by which we cry Abba, Father. O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God, that those who sat in darkness and were alienated and enemies should be counted worthy of so great forgiveness and made sons and heirs. When we say Hallowed be Your name, we ask that His gracious and compassionate name may be honored in our thoughts, words and deeds, and not dishonored by our conduct. When we say Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, we ask for that righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit which is the kingdom, and for the fruit and gifts of the Spirit to be evident in us, and for grace to know and submit to His will and to make Him known by a holy life and by bearing witness to Christ.

Then the prayer turns to our daily need. Give us this day our daily bread reminds us to ask for what is necessary for life and health, not for provision to fulfill wanton desires. We are to make provision for the flesh only so far as it keeps us in health for service, and to spend our chief care on spiritual things. Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors shows surpassing mercy. The servant asked only for time to pay, yet moved with compassion his master forgave the entire debt. So God forgives freely, and He teaches us to pray this even after baptism, reminding us that repentance remains profitable and that we must forgive others if we would be forgiven. To pray for forgiveness while holding a grudge or uttering curses against a brother pollutes the mouth that has been made worthy of holy things, for prayer and cursing are far apart. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil asks for protection from sin and deceit and the evil one, and for angelic guard over our going out and coming in.

Therefore let every prayer be accompanied with thanksgiving, and let it be offered with understanding and earnestness, for the fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much. Prayer is a great weapon. The affairs of each day are a battle and a storm, and we need arms and favorable winds. If at morning we first make God favorable to us by prayer and supplication, we go forth with security, and if we continue at night we are kept without shipwreck. We will pray with you that you may abide in Christ, bear fruit, walk humbly and mercifully, and be kept from temptation, looking for the coming of His everlasting kingdom which cannot be destroyed, for His is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
