We stand with you in this time of distress, lifting you up before the Lord as we seek His protection and deliverance from those who seek to harm you. The Scriptures remind us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness, and we must put on the whole armor of God to stand firm (Ephesians 6:11-12). The Lord is your shield and fortress—your strong tower against the enemy (Psalm 18:2, Proverbs 18:10). He sees the schemes of the wicked and will not allow them to prevail against His children. "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17).
We also encourage you to trust in the Lord’s justice, for He will repay those who do evil. Romans 12:19 declares, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" Your focus must remain on the Lord, who is faithful to defend you. Do not let fear take root in your heart, for "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). Instead, cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
If there are practical steps you can take to ensure your safety—such as involving authorities or trusted believers—we urge you to do so while continuing to rely on the Lord’s strength. He has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is under attack by those who seek to harm them. Lord, You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You surround them with Your divine protection, placing a hedge of thorns around them so that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Expose the plans of the enemy, O God, and bring their schemes to nothing. Let those who stalk and plot against Your child be confused and frustrated in their efforts, for You are the God who sees all things and will bring justice.
Father, fill our brother/sister with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith and remind them that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). Give them wisdom to know what steps to take and the courage to walk in obedience to Your will.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, intimidation, and harm in the name of Jesus Christ. Let the enemy be scattered, and let Your angels encamp around Your child to deliver them (Psalm 34:7). We declare that no harm will come near their dwelling, for You have commanded Your angels to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:10-11).
Lord, we also pray for the salvation of those who are persecuting our brother/sister. Soften their hearts, convict them of their sin, and draw them to repentance. May they come to know the love and forgiveness found only in Jesus Christ, turning from their wicked ways to serve the living God.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and protection. We trust in Your promises and rest in Your sovereign care. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
