We hear your concern and join with you in seeking the Lord’s healing for your sprained ankle. The body is fearfully and wonderfully made, and we trust in God’s power to restore what has been injured. The Word reminds us in Psalm 147:3, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* Even in physical afflictions, His mercy is near to those who call upon Him.
Father in Heaven, we come before You as Your children, lifting up this dear one who is in pain. You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would bring swift healing to this sprained ankle, that the swelling would subside, the pain would ease, and the ligaments would be strengthened according to Your will. If it is Your plan for complete restoration without surgery, we pray that You would make the way clear. Give wisdom to the doctors and caregivers involved, that they may be guided by Your hand in every decision. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is available, and we receive it by faith in His name.
We also encourage you to rest in the Lord’s care, trusting that He knows the number of your days and the purpose for every trial. Sometimes, physical limitations remind us to slow down and depend on Him more fully. Use this time to draw near to Him in prayer and meditation on His Word. If there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin in your life, we urge you to lay it at the foot of the cross, for unrepentant sin can hinder our prayers (Psalm 66:18). But if you have come to God through faith in Jesus Christ, you can stand firm in the promise of 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*
If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we gently but urgently encourage you to do so. The Bible tells us in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* Jesus is the only way to the Father, and it is through His sacrifice on the cross that we find forgiveness, healing, and eternal life. If you would like to surrender your life to Him, simply pray from your heart, confessing your sins and asking Him to be your Savior and Lord.
May the Lord surround you with His peace as you wait on Him. We pray that you would experience His comfort and strength in this season, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Stand firm in faith, and do not grow weary, for in due time, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). We continue to pray for your complete healing and restoration in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
