Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. Please pray that God would lead me to new jobs - and possibly the ability to have at least two jobs, one primary and an extra one. I am considering staying now at the jobs I currently have. Please pray for wisdom for me about this and that all issues I have with these jobs would get better for me and my coworkers. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. 💔 I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My father who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for three of my cats - two who were scratching themselves too hard and accidentally caused wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray that I would stay disciplined in eating according to a diet I have to eat on due to a medical condition. Please also pray for a close friend who has fibromyalgia, alpha thalassemia, blood pressure problems, prostate concerns and asthma. Pray that I would be a suitable encouragement and helpmeet to my boyfriend as we continue in courtship. Thank you.

We hear the deep weariness in your heart, the weight of spiritual battles that have followed you for so long, and the exhaustion of feeling pulled in every direction. You are not alone in this fight, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting every burden before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Let us bring every concern before the Lord together, trusting in His power to break chains, heal wounds, and restore peace.

First, we rebuke the spiritual warfare that has targeted you since childhood. The enemy has no authority over you, for you are a child of the Most High God. We declare in the name of Jesus that every assignment of darkness against you is broken now. "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:3-4). We pray that the Lord would surround you with His angels, that every demonic influence would be silenced, and that you would walk in the authority Christ has given you. The dreams that torment you, we command them to cease in Jesus’ name. "You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day" (Psalm 91:5). May the Lord grant you peaceful, restorative sleep, free from disturbance, and may His presence fill your mind with truth and light.

The overwhelming demands on your time and energy are not from God. He does not intend for you to be drained by constant requests or to end your nights in exhaustion. We pray for divine order in your schedule, that the Lord would show you what to prioritize and what to release. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Ask the Lord to reveal His will for your work, whether to stay in your current jobs or seek new ones, and trust that He will provide wisdom and favor. If He leads you to take on additional work, He will also give you the strength to do it. "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5).

Your struggle with maladaptive daydreaming and sexual temptation is not hidden from the Lord, nor is it beyond His power to deliver you. The shame you feel is a tool of the enemy to keep you isolated, but Jesus bore your shame on the cross. "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit" (Romans 8:1). We pray for a breaking of these strongholds in your life. When temptation comes, especially in those vulnerable moments before sleep, we declare that the Lord will provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). Fill your mind with Scripture, replace those thoughts with prayer, and seek accountability with a trusted believer. The enemy is increasing temptation because he sees your desire to resist, do not grow weary in doing good. "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).

Your concern for the African American community and the need for sound biblical teaching is close to the heart of God. We pray that the Lord would raise up faithful teachers and preachers who proclaim the truth of the Gospel without compromise. "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6). May the Holy Spirit open eyes to see the deception of false teachings and draw hearts back to the unchanging Word of God.

For your family battling the flu, we pray for complete healing and protection. "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord" (James 5:14). May the Lord strengthen those caring for the sick and prevent further spread of illness. We also lift up your precious cats, asking the Lord to heal their wounds and keep them in good health. Even the smallest creatures are known to Him, and He cares for them, and for you, deeply.

Your medical diet is not a burden but a means of stewarding the body God has given you. We pray for discipline and grace to follow it faithfully, trusting that the Lord will sustain you. For your friend battling multiple health issues, we ask for divine healing and comfort. May the Lord use you as a vessel of encouragement to him, just as you seek to be a helpmeet to your boyfriend in your courtship. Remember, marriage is a sacred covenant, and your relationship should honor God in purity and purpose. "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4). Guard your heart and mind in this season, and seek the Lord’s will together.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up every burden, every fear, and every struggle shared with us. Lord, You see the spiritual warfare that has plagued this dear one for far too long. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy in Jesus’ name and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Break the chains of tormenting dreams, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask for divine order in their life. Show them what to release and what to embrace. Provide wisdom for their work, favor with their employers, and clarity about their future. Strengthen them to resist temptation, especially in the area of sexual sin. Cleanse their mind, Lord, and fill it with Your truth. Let them walk in the freedom Christ died to give them.

Heal their family from the flu, and protect those caring for them. Touch their friend with Your healing hand, and grant them comfort in their suffering. Provide for their pets’ needs and guide them to a trustworthy vet when the time comes. Sustain them in their medical diet, and grant them discipline to honor You with their body.

Lord, we ask that You would draw this one closer to You, that they would know Your love and power in a fresh way. Surround them with believers who will encourage and pray for them. May their courtship be rooted in You, and may their future marriage bring glory to Your name.

We thank You, Father, that You are faithful, and that Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

It’s no wonder you’re feeling stretched to the limit, when spiritual attack, restlessness, shame, and the press of so many needs all pile on at once, the weight is crushing. We hear your exhaustion, and we’re sitting with you in this. What strikes us most is the particular pain in your confession about sexual thoughts. Please carry this, above all, into the light: Jesus bore your shame before you ever felt it, and His mercy hasn’t run out. You’re not starting over from scratch, you’re being called back to the same strong arms that set you free before. Depression knows how to dig up old outlets, but it doesn’t have the last word.

One small, concrete step for those late-night moments: the minute you notice the drift, speak aloud, even a whisper, “Lord, I’m Yours. Help me now.” It interrupts the cycle and hands Him the tiredness. Over time, that simple turning retrains the mind more than grit ever could.

For the overwhelm, maybe pick just one thing this week, a slightly earlier bedtime, a ten-minute pause before saying yes, to begin carving out the space you need. We’ll also gently say: with symptoms as disruptive as yours, a doctor’s wisdom alongside prayer can be a real gift, especially when depression is in the mix. No guilt, just a partner in caring for your body.

Let us pray with you now:

Our Lord Jesus, we bring all of this before You. Quiet the enemy’s voice that screams shame, and remind this woman she is already clean in You. Guard her mind as she sleeps; replace disturbing dreams with Your peace. Give her wisdom about her work, and open doors that won’t crush her spirit. Heal her family and her dear cats, and sustain her friend through each health battle. Strengthen her to honor You in her courtship, and steady her hand in daily disciplines. Most of all, hold her fast when she feels undone. In Your mighty name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The sin that dwells in us drags us down. However high we have ascended, still we need that the blood of Christ should cleanse us from all sin. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification. This deliverance is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy. Unless a supernatural power is put forth in it, any form of deliverance from sin is worth nothing. If you have been born again from below, you will go below, you must be born again from above if you are to go above.

You speak of being set free before and now falling again. When we have fallen into any sin, conscience pricks us and tells us we have done wrong. Our heart, like David’s, smites us. A select opportunity this for the enemy to shoot his poisoned arrow. Just where the sin has been, Satan marks, and then he sends a suggestion. The man who goes into sin willfully with his eyes open and then bends his knees and says, "Lead us not into temptation," is a hypocrite without a mask. Never go into temptation. The prayer follows after the sentence, "Forgive us our debts." Let the man's sin be forgiven, and his prayer then is, "Lead us not into temptation."

That depression which seems to drag you toward foul thoughts as an outlet, know that a desponding, sorrowful condition, convicted of sin and full of fears, by the work of the Holy Spirit can yield a clearer knowledge of the evil of sin. Sin is a tremendous moral darkness which has spread over the human mind. It hides from a man what he ought to see. But if you know anything of sorrow for sin, you are the very person to understand the joy of sin being put away. Go, and sin no more. Is not this a most comforting message? It will all be done for you if you will but look to Jesus, if you will simply trust Him.

Your being overwhelmed, the constant demands, the late nights, the need for wisdom in labor, let every man know that whatever his strength may be, of body, mind, or spirit, if it is his own, it will one day fail him. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Ask the Lord that you may undertake fresh work with more expectancy, more confidence, more faith, more God-reliance. To him the joy of the Lord is his strength.

For the sickness in your household and the care of your creatures, God is the great sovereign. The case is different with Him than with man. You are absolutely in God’s hands. Cry out to Him who hears the earnest cries of His people. The very act of sin has been arrested and converted in His providence. Look unto the hole of the pit from which you were dug, and see how humble your origin. Bless God for deliverance and be humble as you think of the grace that has caused you to differ.

I have felt in my mind that all manner of sin shall be forgiven unto men. If you will plead with power and earnestness that your soul would now come, sinner, do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said it, "I have found a ransom." When a soul, sensible of sin, sees that Christ by His blood made atonement, and comes and throws himself upon that sacrifice of the cross, then sin is pardoned. Then because the sin is pardoned, the forgiven sinner is grateful and says, "I will not go on in this sin."

Be more earnest after the heavenly silver and gold than about hurrying away from the scene of conflict and temptation. There is no true liberty but that of which Christ makes you free. Our deliverance is accompanied with health and strength, there was not one feeble person among their tribes. Pray constantly, "Lead us not into temptation." Fight against the thoughts that come while falling asleep by fixing your mind upon the breaking of bread, upon Calvary’s righteous vengeance where He was made a curse for us, though He knew no sin. The saints judge this world by their living testimony and condemn its sin.

You describe a soul besieged, and that is a true account of the Christian life. This warfare did not begin with you; it is the common lot of all who would follow the King. The enemy does not sleep, and his assaults grow fiercer when he sees a soul striving toward virtue. When you were young, he marked you, and now he presses hard, especially through those dreams and the thoughts that trouble you as you fall asleep. Do not imagine that these waves of temptation are signs of God’s abandonment; they are the substance of the contest. You have not yet resisted to blood, striving against sin. Stand firm, then, for this is the good warfare to which you were called.

The Law is spiritual, but you confess yourself carnal, sold under sin. That is not an excuse but a diagnosis. Desire in itself is not sin; it becomes adultery of the heart only when it runs beyond its bounds. The shame you feel is a mercy, a proof that the Spirit still strives within you, but shame alone will not guard the door. You let the thoughts linger because you are weary and depressed, and the soul seeks a counterfeit comfort. Yet this is exactly the sleep of which the Apostle warns: drunkenness not of wine but of vice. Maladaptive daydreaming and those sexual imaginations are the dreams of a soul that has closed its eyes to the true light. They promise rest but deliver only deeper exhaustion. Shake off that slumber. Watch and be sober. The night comes against your will only if you consent to it; you have power, by grace, to keep the day.

Do not lose heart over past falls. He who freed you once can free you again. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus makes war against the law of sin, and that Spirit does not weaken. Every time you resist, even in the smallest degree, you strike a blow against the unseen powers. When those thoughts rise as you lie down, do not parley with them. Rise up inwardly. Say a short prayer. Occupy the mind with something holy. Idleness is the devil’s workshop, and the moments before sleep are a battlefield; guard them jealously. If you have used these thoughts as an outlet for sorrow, seek instead the medicine of confession and tears. Ask God for a contrite heart, that is a gift He will not refuse.

The overwhelm you feel, the sense that every five seconds brings a new demand, is the portion of those who live in the world but forget to set spiritual things before all. You want to be left alone, yet solitude without God is a snare. Order your schedule not by the world’s urgency but by the necessities of the soul. To end your nights late is to begin the next day already defeated. Resolve, with God’s help, to keep a season for prayer and rest. No task, no person, no job is so pressing that you must sacrifice the health of your spirit. A body exhausted cannot fight; a soul perpetually distracted cannot hear the Commander’s voice.

Now for the other matters you commend to prayer, which we join with yours. May the Lord grant wisdom about the jobs; if it is His will, open a door to steady and honest work that does not strangle your inner life. May He heal your father, your whole household, and strengthen those who care for you so that none grows sicker. For the cats, those small companions God has given, may they be kept from harm. The friend with many ailments we also lift up, asking the true Physician for relief of body and soul. That you may be a suitable help and encouragement in courtship, pursue first the adornment of a meek and quiet spirit; a woman who fears the Lord builds up her house. And for the African American community, and for all who are tossed by false teachings, we pray that the light of the gospel would drive out every shadow, and that many would come to the knowledge of the truth.

As for the diet, see in it an exercise of self-mastery. If you can be faithful in what you eat and drink, you train the soul to say no to other passions. Do not despise these small obediences; they are the armor that protects you in the greater fight. Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walks about as a roaring lion. Yet fear not: the Lion of Judah has overcome. Cry to Him, and He will send the Spirit who makes even this heavy combat light and crowns you with strength.
