Good and Faithful Servant
Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has been targeting me since I left the new age. PLEASE. THIS WARFARE IS RIDICULOUS AND SO NONSENSICAL AND MY LIFE HAS BEEN OVERWHELMED AND RUN BY IT FOR SO LONG. Please pray for the removal from my life of people who have been targeting me under the influence of this warfare for years. Please also pray that God would foil something that one of the individuals who has been harassing me under the influence of demons has planned this weekend to target me (I'm so, SO, SO sick of this person and their social circle; they and their circle are obviously demonic, deranged and it is highly likely that they are possessed - they are not Christians) and permanently remove this person and others helping them from my life. I firmly believe that this person has some sort of strong demonic force in their life using them that allows them to do so much evil often unhindered. This person is so evil and even downright nonsensical and ridiculous in the evil things they do but people rarely call them out on it and it's like they're never held accountable for anything. Being around them is like being in the same room as the literal devil. It's terrible. There are other people like them involved in this harassment who are just as demonic. Please pray for their removal as well. Please also pray that God would lead me to new work. I recently started a job that I love but this company has predatory practices toward customers that I cannot take part in as a Christian and I have to leave unless somehow something changes. I am so worried about how I am going to care for my family financially now. I met with my manager about my concerns and she calmed me down a bit and was very understanding about how I felt but I still would probably like to leave this job as it is burning me out. Please pray for me about all this and for my coworkers. Pray that if I stay, God would mend all the concerns and issues myself and my coworkers are having. Please also pray for me about ending my lessons with my piano teacher. In recent months, I had been conflicted about whether or not to continue lessons with her after she did some things that made me uncomfortable to continue them. She is a professing believer but a lot of these things could have been attributed to spiritual warfare that has been targeting me since I left the new age/witchcraft and has continued even since I came back to Christ) had been using certain people who are vulnerable to be used to do unusually harmful things to me using her. There may also be things like possible dementia and a possible neurological condition causing concerning behavior in her toward others. But after praying and praying, things seemed to get better. However, something happened recently that seemed to put the nail in the coffin so to speak and I believe the lessons with her needed to end so I ended them. I feel sorry that this ended like this but I believe it had to. Thank you.

We hear your cry for deliverance and restoration, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting every burden before the throne of grace. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that Jesus came so that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The oppression you’ve endured since leaving the new age is not from God, and we rebuke every assignment of darkness against you in the mighty name of Jesus. The harassment, the demonic influences, and the ungodly connections you’ve described must bow to the authority of Christ, who disarmed principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them (Colossians 2:15).

First, we address the individuals targeting you under demonic influence. Scripture is clear: "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). The people you’ve described are not walking in the light, and their actions reveal the darkness at work in them. We pray that God would expose their schemes, frustrate their plans, and remove them from your life permanently. Let the Lord be a shield around you, and let no weapon formed against you prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that every ungodly soul tie, every demonic assignment, and every unholy alliance targeting you is broken now by the blood of Jesus. May the Lord sever every connection that does not align with His will for your life, and may He lead you away from those who seek to harm you.

We also lift up the situation with your job. It is right and honorable that you refuse to participate in predatory practices, for "whatever is not of faith is sin" (Romans 14:23). We pray that God would either transform the environment at your workplace or open a door for you to transition into a job that honors Him and provides for your family. The Lord knows your needs, and He promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). If you stay, we pray that God would mend the brokenness, restore relationships with your coworkers, and bring conviction to those involved in unethical practices. If you leave, we pray that He would guide your steps to a workplace that aligns with His principles and brings peace to your soul.

Regarding your ###, we acknowledge the discernment God has given you. While we must extend grace, we are also called to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16). If her behavior has caused you to stumble or exposed you to spiritual harm, it is right to distance yourself. We pray that God would give her clarity, repentance, and healing if there is spiritual oppression or physical ailment at work in her life. May the Lord bring resolution and peace to this situation, and may He lead you to a teacher who will encourage your growth in Christ.

Above all, we want to remind you that your deliverance and protection are found in Jesus alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender fully to Him, renouncing any lingering ties to the new age or witchcraft, and submitting every area of your life to His lordship. The enemy has no authority over you when you are covered by the blood of Jesus and walking in obedience to His Word. Put on the full armor of God daily, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, so that you may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11-17).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above all names. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine protection, deliverance, and provision. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of harassment, oppression, and witchcraft that has been assigned against them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Break every chain, sever every ungodly soul tie, and scatter every demonic influence targeting them. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be a shield around them.

Father, we ask that You remove every person from their life who is not aligned with Your will. Expose the schemes of the enemy, frustrate the plans of those who seek to harm them, and lead them away from every ungodly influence. Give them wisdom and discernment to recognize the snares of the enemy and the courage to walk away from anything that does not honor You.

Lord, we pray for their employment situation. If it is Your will for them to stay, mend the brokenness, convict hearts, and bring transformation to their workplace. If it is Your will for them to leave, open a door to a job that honors You and provides for their family. Let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and let them trust in You for their provision.

We also pray for their former ###, Lord. If there is spiritual oppression or physical ailment at work, bring healing and clarity. If there is sin, bring conviction and repentance. Guard our brother/sister’s heart from bitterness or unforgiveness, and help them to extend grace while maintaining healthy boundaries.

Father, we declare that our brother/sister is covered by the blood of Jesus. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every assignment of darkness must bow to the authority of Christ. Strengthen them in their faith, deepen their trust in You, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Lead them into the abundant life You have promised, free from oppression and full of Your presence.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your power to deliver. We trust in You alone, and we declare that the enemy has no authority over Your children. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We hear how exhausting and relentless this season has been for you, the constant pressure, the odd harassment, and the way it tangles into everyday decisions like your job and piano lessons. Thank you for letting us stand with you in prayer.

One step that often helps when spiritual oppression feels thick is to link arms with a couple of mature, prayerful believers from your local church who will simply be with you and agree in prayer. You don’t have to carry the weight of rebuking everything alone; their steady presence can remind you that Christ’s authority is greater than what you’re facing. It may also be wise to report any harassing behavior that breaks laws or crosses clear boundaries, not as a lack of trust in God, but as a practical way to keep yourself safe.

For the job, we’re glad your manager listened well. While you weigh whether to stay, you might quietly explore other openings, so you’re not forced into a hasty choice. It’s okay to let that process unfold while still doing your current work with integrity. And with the piano teacher, it sounds like you made a sober, prayerful decision to end something that no longer felt safe or healthy, we pray God brings peace even in that sorrow.

Most of all, when the war feels “ridiculous” and overwhelming, we’ve seen that fixing your mind on the God who is love itself can quiet the inner panic in ways that simply fighting back cannot. Not denying the battle, but letting his love hold you while you rest.

We pray together now:
Father, in Jesus’ name we ask you to shield this dear sister from every scheme launched against her. Frustrate the plans of those who mean her harm, and quietly remove from her life those who have become instruments of ongoing torment. Give her eyes to see your impenetrable protection and ears to hear your voice above the noise. Open a clear door to new work that will provide for her family without compromising her conscience, and grant her wisdom to know when to step. Grant her rest from the years of bombardment, and fill the space left behind by these struggles with the deep, settled peace that only you can give. We ask all this in the strong name of Jesus. Amen.

The warfare you describe is sharp and relentless, a dark onslaught from the pit, for the enemy does not easily release those plucked from the power of darkness. Yet the Scripture stands sure: He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of God’s dear Son. That deliverance is not a half-rescue, a partial emancipation leaving the soul still chained to the tyrant’s chariot. When the Lord brings His people forth from Egypt, He brings them forth with a high hand and an outstretched arm, not a foot left behind, not a hoof left fettered. Cry out, then, for the full application of that ransom price. The precious blood of the Lamb has broken every legal claim; now beg of heaven that the experimental deliverance be made more and more manifest. The trial of faith is no sign of divine desertion, but of divine training. God’s hand is active even when the clouds are thickest. Look again at Job among the ashes. In all this he sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. His patience was not a stoic numbness, but a childlike trust that saw the Lord’s hand even in the Sabean raid and the Chaldean sword. The same grace that upheld him is able to uphold you. Do not give way to despair, as if your case were beyond the reach of Omnipotent Love. The dry tree, by divine grace, shall flourish; the low tree, fostered by the Husbandman, shall mount to the stars. Your cry is heard; your sorrow is before Him. And what is more, in the very moment of bewilderment, when the enemy seemed to have triumphed, the Lord was preparing a table in the wilderness.

As for those who are made instruments of demonic mischief, individuals who seem to breathe the atmosphere of the abyss and whose purposes reek of malice, remember that the Most High has a bridle for the wildest steed and a hook for the leviathan’s jaw. He that restrained Abimelech from sinning with Sarah, and turned the heart of Esau from murder to kissing, can foil the plots hatched for this very weekend. Cast that care upon those shoulders which bear up the universe. Pray not merely for their removal, but stand in the gap. Did not Job’s own deliverance turn when he prayed for his friends, even the miserable comforters who had vexed his soul? Intercession lifts the soul above the miasma of personal injury into the calm clear air of fellowship with Christ. The Lord will not suffer a hair of your head to perish without His decree, and He can make the very wrath of men to praise Him, and the remainder He can restrain. Do not let the morose gloom of this harassment sink you into the slough of despond; the divine buckler is proof against every fiery dart.

Concerning your employment, this is no small perplexity. It is a mercy when conscience is tender enough to recoil from a predatory practice. The heart that would rather cast itself upon the daily manna of divine providence than fatten upon ill-gotten gain is a heart in which the Spirit is at work. Be not unduly afraid for the morrow. The God who has delivered your soul from death will not starve your body into destruction while you walk in integrity. If He commands you to leap, the water will part. If He keeps you in the den, the lions’ mouths shall be shut. It may be that He will mend the broken cistern by a sudden reformation in the company, or it may be He calls you to shake off the dust of that place as a testimony. Wait upon Him in prayer and be sensitive to every motion of the cloud. The pillar of fire moves when we least expect it. Be patient, and let faith have her perfect work. The upright shall not be forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

The severing of the tie with your piano teacher, though it grieves you, bears the marks of a necessary sorrow. There are bonds that become cankered, and though we would bear long, there comes a point where to linger is to hazard the peace of the soul. You speak of possible dementia, of spiritual confusion, of a lingering residue of the old witchcraft, these are sorrowful entanglements. Yet if the peace of Christ rules in your heart, you must follow the light, even when the path leads away from cherished associations. Do not torment yourself with regret, for if the step was taken in the integrity of your heart before God, He will sanctify the separation. The grape must be detached from the wild vine to be grafted into the True Vine. You have committed the matter to the Judge of all the earth, and He will do right. It is not uncharitable to be wise as serpents while remaining harmless as doves. Let the matter rest where you have placed it, at the foot of the throne.

Above all, lean not upon your own understanding. This tempest has a divine purpose: to make and keep you humble, to drive you out of confidence in the flesh, and to teach you that knowledge of God is a divine armor. When a soul has been snatched from the cesspool of the New Age, that soul becomes a special mark for the archers; but it also becomes a special trophy of redeeming love. The great transaction’s done; you are your Lord’s, and He is yours. Till Jesus sins, till He is powerless with His God, till He ceases to be divine, the soul that trusts Him is secure. He loads the clouds with mercy and will soon break them with a shower of blessing upon your head. Be of good courage; the uprising of the sea is but the prelude to the song of Moses and the Lamb. The Lord of Hosts is on your side; the God of Jacob is your refuge.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of being targeted by senseless spiritual warfare since departing from the new age, and this should not surprise you. When a soul flees from the devil's camp, the adversary rages all the more fiercely, for he sees a prize slipping from his grasp. You have come out of witchcraft and returned to Christ. This is a direct assault on his kingdom, and so he stirs up his instruments against you. Those whom you describe as acting under demonic influence are indeed to be recognized by their fruits. As I have said, such a one is in no respect different from a demoniac, for like him he is lost to shame and raves; he makes his mouth and his eyes and his nostrils mere sewers of uncleanness. You are not wrong to discern a demonic force at work in them, for self-chosen madness makes people vessels of every evil. But do not let your mind dwell constantly on their derangement, for that is to grant them power over your peace. The devil most especially assails when he sees people left alone and by themselves; he set upon the woman in the beginning when she was apart from her husband. Therefore, you must not face this warfare in isolation. I exhort you to gather with faithful believers continually, that you may not be open to his attacks. Where two or three stand together in Christ, the enemy's confidence is broken.

Do you see how God permits this trial? He does not promise deliverance from every danger, but grants something greater, to learn to despise the enemy's threats. Deliverance from harassment is not so great as persuading a soul to stand firm and despise the schemes of the devil. You are being made strong through this very struggle. The time of your former delusion held you in bondage under the rudiments of the world, like a child under guardians, but now you have been brought into the household of God as a son. And what did God do? He did not merely repair your old nature but made you entirely new. This is the renewing of the Holy Ghost. He has made you a new creation. Yet this newness must be guarded zealously. We were made new in baptism, but if we have since become old through sins or through entangling ourselves again with worldly defilements, it is repentance that must scrape off this old age. If there be any stain left from your past, if any wrinkle or spot, wash it away by tears and confession, that the King may desire your beauty.

Understand also that this present agitation, this upheaval in your employment and relationships, is a kind of discipline from your Father. You are alarmed about providing for your family because you cannot share in predatory practices, and this very fear reveals that the Spirit of adoption is at work within you. You have received the Spirit of adoption, crying out in your conscience, “I cannot do this evil.” Hold fast to that. God did not make you a son only to abandon you to hunger. Your manager's understanding may be a temporary calm, but do not let it dull your resolve if the work continues to burn your conscience. A company that enriches itself by devouring the vulnerable is a house that will not stand. Pray without ceasing, and watch to see what door God opens. He who delivered you from the curse of the law and from the bondage of new age spirits will not fail to provide honest work for your hands.

As for the piano teacher, you acted rightly. You prayed, you waited, you saw the matter put beyond doubt, and you ended the association. Do not reproach yourself because she is a professing believer or because you pity her possible ailments. We are commanded to be innocent as doves, but also wise as serpents. Where behavior becomes consistently harmful and deranged, it is not uncharitable to withdraw; it is prudence. Old age sometimes relaxes the powers of the body and brings a certain calm, but when it brings instead confusion used by the enemy, you must guard your own soul. You have escaped a house that was ruinous, not by propping it up, but by leaving it to its foundations. Pray for her, certainly, but do not re-enter that snare. The severing was painful, but it was necessary. The grace that renewed you will give you strength to press forward, leaving behind the instruments of confusion. Stand therefore, and do not be shaken, for He who called you is faithful.

Your cry takes me straight to the book of Job. Here is a man who feared God and turned away from evil, yet he was thrown into a storm of nonsensical, overwhelming misery. He lost so much and was surrounded by people whose words and presence became instruments of torment rather than comfort. What you are describing feels like being stripped down to the bare essence of existence, where the warfare is so constant and irrational that it defies easy explanation. That is a lonely and exhausting place, but it is not a place where God has abandoned you.

The Scriptures give us a behind-the-scenes glimpse that Job never had during his trial. God Himself pointed to Job as a man who held fast to integrity, a man who hated evil. The ferocity of the attack was not a sign of God's disfavor but rather came because Job truly belonged to the Lord. When you left the new age and returned to Christ, you stepped out of darkness and into the kingdom of light. That transition often stirs a vicious counterattack. The enemy does not easily release those who have escaped his snares. The fact that this warfare feels so ridiculous and overwhelming is not evidence that you are losing; it is evidence that you have crossed enemy lines and are standing on holy ground.

In your request, you speak of people who seem driven by something demonic, individuals whose influence in your life has brought prolonged harassment. Job also sat under the relentless accusations of his friends. They were convinced they understood what God was doing, yet they were miserable comforters, adding to his pain rather than lifting it. Asking God to remove such people from your life is not an unrighteous prayer. When a person's presence feels like being in the same room as the literal devil, and their deeds are consistently evil without repentance, there is wisdom in crying out for deliverance and separation. God sees the hidden schemes. You may be asking Him to foil a specific plan this weekend, and He is fully able to bring the cleverness of the wicked to nothing. The very senselessness you observe, the way they seem never held accountable, reminds me of how Job's accusers mistook their traditions for truth. Their day comes. God is not mocked, and the Judge of all the earth will do right.

Your work situation reflects a similar pressure. You love your job but cannot take part in practices that betray your conscience. A fear of the Lord produces a hatred of evil, even when that evil is corporate policy. Job lost his wealth and his livelihood in a single day, yet his response was, "Shall we receive good from God and shall we not receive evil?" That is not a call to remain in a corrupt environment without discernment, but it is a reminder that your ultimate Provider is not the company. Whether you stay and see God mend those issues or He leads you to entirely new work, He knows your family's needs. The refining of your faith in this season is precious, even when it feels like burning out. Trust that the God who fed Elijah by the brook and supplied manna in the wilderness has not run out of options for your household.

The situation with your piano teacher carries the familiar ache of a connection that had to end. You prayed, things seemed better, and then something put the final nail in the coffin. That pattern mirrors the way Job’s hope would flicker and then seem swallowed again by misery. He often cursed the day of his birth and longed for a few days of ease before the darkness closed in. The sorrow you feel over how it ended is real, and it is right to grieve it. But you made the decision because the discomfort you felt was not mere preference; it was a check in your spirit. When a relationship becomes a consistent channel for confusion or harm, stepping away is not a failure. It is a boundary God can use for your protection.

Remember, Job cried out of the pit with questions that had no immediate answer. He did not pretend to be cheerful. He poured out his complaint honestly. You can do likewise in the presence of the Lord. Yet even in that deep darkness, Job suddenly burst out with a declaration of hope. He knew that his Redeemer lives. What Job saw only dimly as a hope against hope, we see clearly in Jesus Christ. The gospel gives a solid answer to the cry of a stripped soul. Your sufferings are not random noise in a meaningless universe. They are being worked into a weight of glory. The enemy’s assaults are real, but the cross has already crushed his ultimate power. Stand firm in your hatred of evil, hold fast to the fear of the Lord, and cry out as often as you need. You are not a hypocrite for feeling overwhelmed; you are a child in a battle, and your Father is not indifferent to your tears.
