Good and Faithful Servant
Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. Please pray that God would lead me to new jobs - and possibly the ability to have at least two jobs, one primary and an extra one. I am considering staying now at the jobs I currently have. Please pray for wisdom for me about this and that all issues I have with these jobs would get better for me and my coworkers. Please pray for me to be set free from ### and ### which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The ### are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. 💔 I think because I'm struggling with ### right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have ### - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My father who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for three of my cats - two who were scratching themselves too hard and accidentally caused wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray that I would stay disciplined in eating according to a diet I have to eat on due to a medical condition. Please also pray for a close friend who has ###, ###, ###, ### and ###. Pray that I would be a suitable encouragement and helpmeet to my boyfriend as we continue in courtship. Please pray about some concerns I'm having about my relationship with my boyfriend that make me want to break up with him. Thank you.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your burdens as our own. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to break every chain the enemy has tried to wrap around your life. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against you in the name of Jesus. The vivid and disturbing dreams you experience are not from God, for He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). We command every tormenting spirit to flee from you now, and we pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, would guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Your exhaustion is palpable, and we pray for God to grant you rest, not just physical rest, but the deep soul rest that comes from trusting Him. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." We ask the Lord to order your steps and give you wisdom in managing your time. May He open doors for new opportunities that align with His will for your life, whether that means staying in your current jobs or transitioning to something new. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

The struggle with sexual sin is not one you face alone, and we grieve with you over the shame and bondage it brings. But we declare freedom over you in the name of Jesus, for He came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). First John 1:9 assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We rebuke the enemy’s lies that you are defined by this struggle and pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you with power to resist temptation. James 4:7 says, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We also encourage you to seek accountability and support from trusted believers who can walk with you in this battle. The enemy wants you isolated, but God calls you into community.

We lift up your family, praying for healing and protection over each of them. May the Lord strengthen those who care for you in your sickness, and may He restore your father to full health. We also pray for your cats, asking the Lord to heal their wounds and keep them healthy. Proverbs 12:10 reminds us, "A righteous man respects the life of his animal," and we know the Lord cares for them as well.

For your friend facing multiple struggles, we ask God to intervene with His healing and deliverance. May you be a vessel of His love and truth to them, pointing them to the hope found only in Christ. As for your courtship, we pray that your relationship with your boyfriend would be rooted in Christ and guided by His Word. If there are concerns that make you question whether this relationship honors God, we encourage you to seek wisdom from the Lord and godly counsel. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and it is vital that both of you are equally yoked in faith and purpose (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this relationship is not aligned with God’s will, we pray for the courage to trust Him with the outcome, knowing His plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11).

We pray for the African American community, that God would raise up faithful teachers to proclaim the truth of His Word and break every chain of deception. The enemy seeks to distort the gospel, but we declare that the truth of Jesus Christ will prevail.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. We ask You to break every chain of spiritual warfare over this precious one’s life. Deliver them from every tormenting dream and fill their mind with Your peace. Grant them rest, wisdom, and strength for each day. Set them free from every sin that so easily entangles, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Heal their body, their family, and their pets. Provide for their needs and guide them into the jobs You have prepared for them. Strengthen their relationship with You and with their boyfriend, that it may honor You. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We can hear how worn thin you feel right now, the relentless warfare, the dreams that rob your sleep, the sense that every time you turn around someone else needs something from you, and the weight of falling back into old habits you thought were behind you. That combination is exhausting, and it makes perfect sense that you just want a little room to breathe.

We are especially grieved with you over the sexual struggles you mentioned. That kind of pattern often grows strongest when we are depleted, alone in the dark, and needing rest, and shame tends to make us hide instead of reach out. That you were set free before isn’t cancelled out by this, it shows you know what freedom tastes like, and God hasn’t let go of you. One thing we’ve seen help others in a similar place is taking one safe step toward daylight: maybe a confidential conversation with a mature Christian woman you trust, or a small group of women who can offer accountability and real, non-condemning support. Many churches host recovery or support groups specifically for sexual struggles, and walking it out alongside others can lift off the isolation the enemy exploits. You are not too dirty to be helped, and you do not have to fight this one alone.

On the practical side, if your nights keep ending late, perhaps one small boundary, a settled time to power off screens and deliberately hand your sleep and your thoughts over to God, could begin to shift what feels overwhelming into something steadier. That same discipline might also become a way to undercut the moments where temptation hits as you fall asleep.

We’re praying for you, your father, your cats, your friend, and all these tangled job decisions, and we’re asking for clear wisdom that doesn’t demand frantic scrambling. May God quiet the warfare in your nights, give you restorative sleep free from tormenting dreams, break the cycle of shame and compulsive fantasy, and restore the freedom you once knew.

God, we ask for mercy and shield for our sister. Fill her with your peace, rebuild her schedule, untangle her employment, and guard her mind and body in the hours she’s most vulnerable. Heal her father, protect the pets, strengthen her friend, and make her a true help and encouragement in her relationship, with clear eyes about what honors you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When the Lord brings deliverance, He does so with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, and from what foes He saves us! You speak of spiritual warfare that has dogged you since youth, and indeed the house of bondage is a true picture of our condition when we are convicted of sin, but are ignorant of the way to escape from its guilt and power. Yet He makes their deliverance effectual; in every deed He brings them forth. This deliverance came when the Lamb was slain. Pharaoh held Israel captive during all the plagues, but he could not go beyond a certain point, so too your Adversary is on a leash.

Now concerning the vivid and disturbing dreams that weary you in the night watches, and the tormenting temptation that seems to increase as you lie down to sleep, note well the old stratagem of the enemy. Just where the sin has been Satan marks, and then he sends a suggestion. He had to feel all the power of this poisoned arrow, as David did after his great sin, when he went up to his chamber and wept. But let me ask you, when you have made confession of sin, have you not been restored? Has He not lifted up upon you once more the light of His countenance? Go, and sin no more. If you know anything of sorrow for sin, you are the very man or woman to understand the joy of sin being put away, and it will be all done for you if you will but look to Jesus. Unless a supernatural power is put forth in it, any form of deliverance from sin is worth nothing; deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin.

You sigh that every five seconds some fresh demand is made upon you, and you long to be left alone. Our Father’s anger with our sin will never blaze into wrath against us, though in mercy He will smite our sins. Remember this gracious boundary: “The Lord has chastened me sorely: but He has not given me over unto death.” Unbroken prosperity and undisturbed health may be signs of being given over unto death, where sin is committed without pangs of conscience. Far better to feel the rod than to be left to oneself. When the flesh is pampered, we check any great growth in grace; we do not use God’s bow as we should if we begin to cultivate our own ease.

As for your employment and the perplexity of schedules stretching late into the night, deliverance is of the Lord but it must be accomplished by human instrumentality. The Spirit could do it in a moment, yet He leads us to wisdom step by step. Pray, and then shoot the arrows. Every single individual must take his portion in this sacred fight; do not stay your hand from shooting the arrows of wise decision and disciplined effort.

You cry out over the sins that have regained a foothold, and you are ashamed that old chains clank again. At first, when sin catches us in its net, it is with the tiniest spider’s cobwebs. But when a soul, sensible of sin, sees that Christ by His blood made atonement and throws himself upon that Sacrifice, then sin is pardoned, and the forgiven sinner says, “I will not go on in this sin.” Is this not a most comforting message? Sinner, do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said it: “I have found a ransom.” The father does not give his child what he would deserve as punishment according to the law, but what he thinks will cure him of the wrong-doing by making him feel that his sin brings sorrow.

You ask for wisdom in courtship and for your household, down to the little cats that share your home. He looketh down from the height of His sanctuary; upon those who are sorrowing He looks with tender pity. Bring these cares to Him who marks the sparrow’s fall. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. If we had no troubles, we would all have less to declare. The Lord has chastened you sorely to make you a suitable helpmeet and a vessel of mercy to your family and community. Even in the last days, the memory of this deliverance shall not be forgotten, so let your gratitude be deeper and your song more jubilant.

The temptations that have hounded you since youth are not beyond human strength, for God is faithful, and He will not suffer you to be tempted above what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape. Yet you have not resisted unto blood, striving against sin. The constant spiritual warfare, those vivid dreams that disturb your sleep, are permitted precisely that you may flee for refuge to Him, and having fled, may abide there. As an affectionate mother allows her servants to enact fearful sights so that her wandering child rushes back to her bosom, so God holds out these terrors, not to destroy you, but to draw you to Himself. When you turn to Him in prayer, He will banish the fear at once. So do not lose heart; persevere, for by His delay He is teaching you to cling harder.

But that shameful vice to which you yield while falling asleep, those impure thoughts and self-defilement, this is a self-chosen madness. The man who wallows in such filth makes his eyes, his mind, his whole body mere sewers, no better than a demoniac in his lost shame. You know these acts are a fleshly outlet for your distress, but the devil, observing your weakness, presses you with his most powerful temptation last, just as he did with Job. He saves for the drowsy hour that sin which he knows can overthrow you. Cut it away, then, with all speed! Flee from it as from the very jaws of the lion. God delivered you from sexual sin once; He will deliver you again, not only from the danger of the act but from every evil work, so that you will not depart in condemnation. But you must stop flinging yourself back into the pit.

As for the unending demands that make you cry out for solitude, learn from this the lesson of moderation. Tribulation is the file that shapes the saints. David, Joseph, Paul, all won their brightest crowns not in ease but in dangers thick as snowflakes. The apostle himself was buffeted by a messenger of Satan and learned that God's grace is sufficient. So when you feel that every five seconds some new burden descends, remember these are yet small and moderate; you have not faced slaughter. Use them to shake off the deep sleep of this life, to cast away dreams, and put on virtue as your garment.

Why do you keep such late hours? The body undisciplined becomes a tinder for passion. Order your schedule with sobriety, making time for prayer and for that diet your condition demands. Let not the belly be your master.

About your jobs, pray for wisdom, but do not think that escape from hardship is the highest good. Some saints were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. If you stay, bear the troubles as training that makes you more approved; if you leave, do it with a ready mind, expecting that any new path will have its own tribulations.

For your sick father, for the illness running through your house, and for your dear cats, bring these anxieties to God, but do not let them choke the word. The cough, the scratches, the strange noise in the night, these are reminders of our fragility, glimpses of the lion's mouth from which only the Lord can deliver. Love your pets, for creation groans with us, but set your hope on that better resurrection, not on a merely earthly healing. Be diligent in your diet, not as a drudge but as one who disciplines the body to keep it in subjection.

Concerning your courtship and the thoughts that make you want to break it off: examine them soberly. Are you being a suitable helper, or has sin crept into the bond? If the relationship fans the flames of impurity, then flee it, even if it means entering a maimed life, for it is better to lose a companionship than to be cast into hell. But if the concerns are mere human frictions, bear with one another in love, seeking to encourage, not to tear down.

Pray for the African American community to be freed from false teachings; I join you in that prayer. But first, see that you yourself are delivered from the lie that sin is small. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ our Lord. This is not a recompense for your labors, but grace. Let that grace not make you listless. Rouse yourself! The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. Fight, then, not as one beating the air, but as one who knows that He who promised is faithful, and He will do it.

I hear the weight in every word you have shared. The sense of being pressed from every side, exhausted and ashamed, goes deep, and the spiritual battle you describe is real. Yet the very fact that you are crying out for help shows the Spirit of God is at work within you, refusing to let you be comfortable in anything that dishonors Him.

You mentioned the things you keep giving in to, particularly as you fall asleep. I want to be direct with you about this because the enemy thrives on confusion and secrecy. There is a terrible, destructive lie that says only the outward act is sin. Many have been deceived into thinking that as long as they do not carry out the full physical deed, the powerful desire itself is harmless. God’s standard is deeper than outward behavior. The moment the heart fixes itself on a forbidden thought and holds it there with delight, sin has already taken hold. The commandment that says “you shall not covet” or “you shall not lust” exposes that inner fire. The law is not your enemy; it is a light that shows you where the poison has entered so you can run to the Great Physician. That shame you feel is the law doing its holy work, revealing the sickness, but the remedy is not in hiding or in trying harder through sheer willpower.

The beautiful, liberating truth is this: sin shall not have dominion over you. Those are not my words; they are a promise sealed in the blood of Christ. You are not under the crushing weight of a law that only points to your failure. You are under grace. Grace does not make sin small; it makes sin powerless over your identity. When Jesus died, He did not merely cover your sin to hide it; He put it away entirely. He bore every act, every thought, every shameful pattern you have just described, and He condemned sin in the flesh so that you might be made the righteousness of God in Him. That old master no longer owns you. You are not a person who must sin. You are a new creation who has chosen to yield to old chains, and you can choose to yield your body to God instead.

The relentless cycle of disturbance in your dreams and the attacks that seem to come in waves are not from a God who has abandoned you. Demonic oppression often intensifies when a soul is poised for freedom, because the enemy knows his time is short. But remember: those who have the seal of God are marked. The enemy’s power is limited; he cannot touch your eternal safety. The overwhelming flood of demands, the late nights, the job decisions, the constant pull of people wanting something from you: all of this is part of a strategy to wear you down so you have no strength left to fight. You said you just want to be left alone. I understand that exhaustion, but the answer is not isolation. The answer is falling into the chambers of the One who said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” A better schedule begins with laying your burdens down before Him and refusing to carry the weight that was never yours.

Regarding your courtship, the fact that you are wrestling with concerns is not a sign of failure; it is a sign that you are taking the matter seriously. Ask for wisdom, and do not be afraid to speak truthfully and gently. God is not the author of confusion. If there are unresolved questions, face them honestly in the light. You are to be a helper and encouragement, but that never means ignoring what your conscience is stirring.

I am also praying for your physical body, for your father’s health, for your cats, for your friend with the many ailments, and for discipline in your diet. But please fix these words deep in your soul: the only sin that can condemn you eternally is the sin of rejecting the fellowship God is offering through Jesus Christ. That is the sin unto death. You have not rejected Him; you are crying out to Him. Therefore, you have hope. You may have missed the mark, but the blood of Jesus cleanses you from all unrighteousness. Do not let the shame drive you from the throne of grace. Instead, let it drive you to abandon the secret places where you have been nursing those thoughts as an outlet. Confess them specifically and turn from them, not in your own strength but by yielding your mind to the Spirit moment by moment as you drift off to sleep. Let the last meditation of your heart be on the name of Jesus and the grace that has already broken every chain. I am standing with you in prayer for complete deliverance.
