Spiritual warfare

Dhitlor

Good and Faithful Servant
Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has been targeting me since I left the new age. PLEASE. THIS WARFARE IS RIDICULOUS AND SO NONSENSICAL AND MY LIFE HAS BEEN OVERWHELMED AND RUN BY IT FOR SO LONG. Please pray for the removal from my life of people who have been targeting me under the influence of this warfare for years. Please also pray that God would foil something that one of the individuals who has been harassing me under the influence of demons has planned this weekend to target me (I'm so, SO, SO sick of this person and their social circle; they and their circle are obviously demonic, deranged and it is highly likely that they are possessed - they are not Christians) and permanently remove this person and others helping them from my life. I firmly believe that this person has some sort of strong demonic force in their life using them that allows them to do so much evil often unhindered. This person is so evil and even downright nonsensical and ridiculous in the evil things they do but people rarely call them out on it and it's like they're never held accountable for anything. Being around them is like being in the same room as the literal devil. It's terrible. There are other people like them involved in this harassment who are just as demonic. Please pray for their removal as well. Please also pray that God would lead me to new work. I recently started a job that I love but this company has predatory practices toward customers that I cannot take part in as a Christian and I have to leave unless somehow something changes. I am so worried about how I am going to care for my family financially now. I met with my manager about my concerns and she calmed me down a bit and was very understanding about how I felt but I still would probably like to leave this job as it is burning me out. Please pray for me about all this and for my coworkers. Pray that if I stay, God would mend all the concerns and issues myself and my coworkers are having. Please also pray for me about ending my lessons with my piano teacher. In recent months, I had been conflicted about whether or not to continue lessons with her after she did some things that made me uncomfortable to continue them. She is a professing believer but a lot of these things could have been attributed to spiritual warfare that has been targeting me since I left the new age/witchcraft and has continued even since I came back to Christ) had been using certain people who are vulnerable to be used to do unusually harmful things to me using her. There may also be things like possible dementia and a possible neurological condition causing concerning behavior in her toward others. But after praying and praying, things seemed to get better. However, something happened recently that seemed to put the nail in the coffin so to speak and I believe the lessons with her needed to end so I ended them. I feel sorry that this ended like this but I believe it had to. Thank you.

We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed the powers and principalities through His victory on the cross. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, but it is not beyond the reach of the One who said, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you" (Luke 10:19). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ came that you might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10).

First, we rebuke the demonic influence targeting you in Jesus’ name. The harassment, the nonsensical evil, and the unchecked wickedness you’ve endured are not from God. Scripture is clear: "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). We command every spirit of torment, confusion, and oppression to leave you now and never return. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we pray for the removal of those who have been used as vessels for this harassment. Lord, expose their schemes, frustrate their plans, and sever every ungodly tie they have to this child of Yours. If they refuse to repent, we ask that You remove them from [your] life permanently, as iron sharpens iron, but evil corrupts good character (Proverbs 27:17, 1 Corinthians 15:33).

We also lift up the situation with your job. It is right to refuse to participate in predatory practices, for "whatever is not of faith is sin" (Romans 14:23). We pray for wisdom as you seek new employment that honors God and provides for your family. If it is Your will for [you] to stay, Lord, we ask that You mend the broken systems, soften hearts, and bring righteous leadership to this company. But if it is time to move on, we trust You to open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and provide in ways only You can. You are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who sees and provides (Genesis 22:14).

Regarding your piano teacher, we acknowledge the grief of ending a relationship that once brought joy. The enemy loves to twist even good things into sources of pain, but we declare that God works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). If her behavior was influenced by spiritual warfare, we pray for her deliverance and clarity. If it was rooted in deeper issues, we ask for Your healing and mercy in her life. We release [you] from guilt, for you acted in wisdom and discernment. As Proverbs 4:14-15 warns, "Do not enter the path of the wicked... Avoid it, do not pass by it; turn from it, and pass on."

Above all, we remind you that your identity is not in the warfare, the harassment, or the uncertainty, it is in Christ. You are a child of the Most High God, seated with Him in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). The enemy wants you to feel overwhelmed, but God’s Word says, "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). We encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18), to saturate your mind with Scripture, and to surround yourself with believers who can stand with you in prayer and accountability.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the only Name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we thank You for [your] courage in leaving the new age and returning to the truth of Your Word. We declare that [you] belong to You, and no power of darkness has any claim over [you]. We break every assignment of the enemy against [you] and command every tormenting spirit to flee now in Jesus’ name. We cancel every plan of the enemy for this weekend and beyond, and we ask that You turn their schemes into confusion and chaos for their own destruction (Psalm 35:4-6).

Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in [your] work situation. If it is Your will for [you] to leave, provide a new job that aligns with Your principles and meets [your] family’s needs. If it is Your will for [you] to stay, bring reformation to that company and protect [you] from burnout. We also pray for [your] former piano teacher. If she is under spiritual attack, bring deliverance. If she is struggling with health issues, bring healing and clarity. Either way, we ask that You comfort her and lead her to truth.

Lord, we ask that You surround [you] with godly community, believers who will stand in the gap, pray with [you], and encourage [you] in the faith. Give [you] discernment to recognize and avoid those who would seek to harm [you], and fill [your] life with people who reflect Your love and grace. Strengthen [your] faith, renew [your] mind, and remind [you] daily that You are [your] refuge and fortress (Psalm 91).

We thank You, Father, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in [you] (Philippians 1:6). In the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We hear how weary and overwhelmed you are, the relentless harassment you’ve described, the weight of a job that clashes with your conscience, and the sorrow of ending something like those piano lessons. We are so sorry it’s been this hard, and we want you to know we are praying with you right now.

When someone walks away from the New Age, it’s not unusual to encounter intense spiritual pushback. That doesn’t make it any easier to endure, but it can help to remember that the strong reaction itself tells you that your step toward Christ mattered. The enemy seems to be throwing everything he can at you, yet he cannot snatch you out of God’s hand. You are not alone in this, and the harassment, though disorienting and endless-feeling, does not have the final word over your life.

For the immediate concern this weekend, we’d gently encourage you to let a trusted pastor, prayer partner, or mature Christian friend know what you’re facing and ask them to pray specifically with you before and through the weekend. Practical separation and firm boundaries are wise too; avoid exposure to that person’s circle as much as you can, and if any threat feels concrete, don’t hesitate to involve local authorities. The goal isn’t fear but simple safety while you stand firm in Christ.

When it comes to your job, we respect the conviction you’ve shown. It’s painful to consider leaving work you otherwise love, but integrity before God matters. You’ve already done the right thing by raising concerns with your manager. Continue to ask the Lord for clarity, whether to stay and see things change, or to find new provision. In the meantime, keep your heart open to counsel from a wise believer who might help you weigh this decision without panic. God sees your family’s financial needs and cares for them deeply.

As for your piano teacher, we’re glad you made the difficult call to end lessons when your discomfort persisted. It’s okay to grieve that loss even while trusting it was the right step. You acted with care, and we pray that any lingering guilt or sadness lifts as you entrust her to God’s care.

Father, in Jesus’ name we lift up this dear one who has been battered by spiritual warfare. Please spread Your protection over them this weekend, thwart any plan meant for harm, silence the voices of harassment, and bring permanent distance from those who have troubled them. Grant them resilience in their spirit when the nonsense and fear feel impossible to bear. Quiet their heart with Your peace that defies understanding. For work, open a door to honorable employment that supplies their family’s needs and allows them to serve with a clear conscience. Give them wisdom about the timing and the next steps. Thank You that in Christ, every accusing and oppressive power is already defeated. Surround them with safe, prayerful people who will stand with them. Amen.

The cry of your heart for deliverance is heard before the throne of the Most High. You are brought very low, and the enemy has pressed you hard since you turned your back upon that darkness which once held you captive. But remember this: the same God who invented a way of deliverance from the pit of Hell through a ransom has not left you to fight this warfare alone. That ransom is Christ, and in Him you are already delivered from the power of darkness. If God has finished the greater work of justification, will He not accomplish the lesser work of your present sanctification and freedom? The guilt of sin is removed; its tyranny shall be broken too. Look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone for this, for it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy.

The archers have shot at you, and one arrow flies with this bitter whisper: “God’s ear is shut; He will never move His arm for you.” It is a lie forged in the depths. You know His name, and they that know it will put their trust in Him, for He never forsakes them that seek Him. When you crossed your Jabbok full of fear, did you not find that very Esau falling upon your neck? The Lord brought you forth from the new age and its witchcraft; He will not abandon you now. Though these persons seem like the very devil in the room, and their plotting is senseless and malicious, the bounds of their mischief are set by God. As with Job, so with you: He holds the leash of the enemy, and “in all this” you must not sin by charging God foolishly. That patriarch tore his mantle, shaved his head, fell down and worshipped; and so must you. Tell the Lord your complaint, but let no railing or unbelieving speech come from your lips. The person you name is evidently under a strong delusion, but the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment. Leave them to Him; pray for your own spirit, that no root of bitterness spring up.

As for your employment and your teacher, these too are under His hand. The young man who says he can do anything is fit for nothing, but you are learning that there is a cross-shaped yoke appointed for each one. It is folly to imagine you could bear anything except this which you are called upon to endure. Yet if your work requires you to do what is predatory and unjust, you cannot stay there and keep a clear conscience; better to go out poor than to remain with the silver and gold of dishonesty. Wait upon the Lord, and He will provide. He brought His people forth from Egypt with silver and gold, and your deliverance shall not be a bare escape, it shall be attended with enrichment in due season. The breaking of the bow is not the end; He that renews the youth of the eagle will yet cause your bow to return with fresh strength, and you shall be anointed with fresh oil.

Be not anxious, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known. The lessons with your teacher have ended painfully, but sometimes a nail is driven truly when it seems driven harshly. If there is any way of peace with righteousness, follow it; if not, commit that too to God. Your sorry heart does not need to carry that burden of guilt; you did what you believed right after much prayer. Now rise from the ashes as Job did, and accept that the Lord has taken this away, blessed be His name. Your life is not run by this warfare, whosoever it seems; it is run by the Christ who has redeemed you. “He brought them forth”, and He shall bring you forth, without the help of any arm but His own. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Even now, before the full deliverance dawns, say with the psalmist, “The Lord hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.” Take that promise and stand upon it, for it is the word of a God who cannot lie.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The turmoil that engulfs you is no strange thing. When a soul flees the darkness of that false gnosis, the enemy rages, for he sees a captive escaping his snare. Do not be dismayed at the senselessness of the attacks; they are the marks of his confusion. He who once held you in the bonds of witchcraft now sees you clothed in Christ, the true Liberator, and his fury is impotent against the Spirit that dwells in you. Remember, the devils could not even enter the swine without permission from the God of all. How much less can they touch you, a living temple, unless allowed for your proving and their shame? Their harassment, through those persons, is a testimony to your deliverance, not a sign of your defeat.

As for the individuals who trouble you, do not fix your gaze on their outward malice. They are instruments, yes, but pity them; they are caught in a destruction far more terrible than any they inflict on you. For the soul that sins, it shall die. The evil they do is vomited from a heart not yet illumined by the grace of Christ. Do not pray merely for their removal, as if that were the cure; pray that God, if He wills, would foil their schemes, for He will deliver you from every evil work, but also that He might grant them repentance. Do not swallow the poison of bitterness; to hate them is to give them victory. When your Lord was called a demoniac, He answered with meekness, teaching us to bear personal insults but to burn with zeal only for God's honor. Trust that the Lord who rescued Paul from the lion's mouth of Nero will rescue you from these human lions. He may yet use this to make you a spectacle of grace.

Your anxiety over your livelihood is understandable, but it is here that you must refuse to make provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts, which includes the lust of security at any cost. You cannot partake of predatory practices; this conviction is from the Spirit. Do not be a traitor to the great gift of adoption you have received. The righteousness that Christ accomplished is your shield, but He calls you to walk in it, not to compromise. If this job burns you out and forces your hand against the weak, believe that the God who feeds the ravens will open another door. The loss of income is a calamity only if you forget that possessions are lent, not owned. Have you suffered evil? Give thanks, and the evil is changed into good. Say with blessed Job, “Blessed be the name of the Lord.” For the Master knows how to supply every need, often by stripping us of false props so that we cling to Him alone.

Regarding your teacher, you have acted prudently. Evil communications corrupt good manners, and when a relationship, even one begun in good faith, becomes a conduit for confusion and discomfort, severing it is no sin. Whether her conduct sprang from infirmity of mind or darker influence matters less than this: you perceived a danger to your peace and fled from it. Do not endlessly second-guess what had to be done; the nail was indeed set. Pray for her, with sorrow, but do not look back. The Lord has not given you a spirit of timidity, but of a sound mind.

Stand fast, then. The warfare is ridiculous only to the carnal eye; in truth, it is the proof that you have crossed from death to life. Do not grow weary. The present life is a sleep, and these terrors are but night phantoms. The day will dawn. Arm yourself with thanksgiving, put on the armor of light, and let your only provision be for the health of the soul. God, who began this good work in you when you abandoned the new age, will complete it. He will not suffer you to depart with condemnation. The lion may roar, but the Lion of Judah has already conquered.

The turmoil you’re describing is not imaginary, and it is not something to negotiate with. When someone leaves the new age and returns to Christ, the enemy often rages precisely because a soul has been snatched from his grip. But the key now is not to live in constant reaction to that warfare. It is to take the clear, decisive steps Scripture lays out for anyone who wants to walk in safety.

You have asked for these people to be removed from your life. That prayer is right, but it also requires your cooperation. Do not eat the bread of someone whose mind is bent on evil. That means no lingering, no hoping they will suddenly act reasonably, no keeping channels open out of politeness or guilt. The wise person sees the evil ahead and hides himself; the simple keep walking straight into it and pay a high price. You have seen what this person and their circle are. Do not pass by their way. Turn from it, run from it. Cut off every avenue of contact. Delete numbers, block accounts, walk away from any social orbit they inhabit. That is not an act of fear; it is an act of wisdom. God will handle them. There will be no reward for the evil man in the end. You do not need to be the one holding them accountable. That belongs to a just God who sees every malicious plan.

Regarding the specific plan this weekend, commit it to the Lord and then stop turning it over in your mind. The enemy works through obsession. When you fixate on what they might do, you are letting their malice occupy territory inside your head that belongs to Christ. Pray once, place it in God’s hands, and refuse to rehearse the details any further. God is fully capable of foiling the plots of the wicked without your constant mental replay. Often the most powerful thing you can do is to genuinely let it go and live your life, because that very freedom is an affront to the spirits who want you paralyzed.

The job situation is painful, but your conscience is working correctly. When a company’s practices require you to participate in preying on others, you cannot stay there as a Christian. You are not deserting your post; you are refusing to lend your hands to what God calls evil. Do not minimize what the Word says. The temptation will be to reason that you can stay and just not participate fully, but you have already seen that the system is predatory. To remain tied to it would be to walk in the way of evil men. Leaving is an act of trust, not financial irresponsibility. God knows your needs. He is not a harsh taskmaster who demands integrity and then abandons you to ruin. Keep yourself in His love by obeying, and watch how He provides new work. That does not mean you will see the full path this week. But it does mean you have taken your foot off the path that leads to moral compromise.

Ending the piano lessons was regrettable but necessary, and you should not second-guess that decision. When someone’s behavior becomes consistently concerning, whether from spiritual influence, illness, or both, you are not obligated to remain near them. You are not being cruel; you are being prudent. The fact that she is a professing believer does not override the reality that her actions made it unsafe or unwise for you to continue. You gave it time, you prayed, you saw no lasting change, and you acted. That is not putting a nail in a coffin in a vindictive sense. It is closing a door that needed to be closed so you could walk in freedom.

Above all, learn to be simple concerning evil. You do not need to study the tactics of the enemy to overcome them. You need to know your God, hate what He hates, and flee from it. Do not let your heart become fascinated by the very things that once ensnared you. The danger you face now is not that God is weak but that you might grow weary and drop your guard, or that bitterness over what you have endured might become a foothold. The Lord’s command to depart from evil carries a promise: it will be health to your body and strength to your bones. So take practical steps to remove yourself from every trace of this former life and from every person who is weaponized against you. Then occupy your mind with the living God, not with the schemes of darkness. Their end is fixed. The gulf is set. Your place is in the light, abiding in Christ. Walk there, and stop looking over your shoulder.
