We hear your cry for deliverance and restoration, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting every burden to the throne of grace. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that Jesus came so that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The oppression you’ve endured since leaving the new age is not from God, and we rebuke every assignment of darkness against you in the mighty name of Jesus. The Bible tells us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). The harassment you’ve faced is not from God’s people, for those who belong to Christ walk in the light and do not practice evil. The individuals you describe, though they may profess otherwise, are operating under demonic influence, and we pray their schemes are exposed and thwarted.
We pray that every plan of the enemy against you this weekend and beyond would be completely dismantled. May the Lord scatter those who conspire against you and remove every ungodly influence from your life. The psalmist declares, "Break the arm of the wicked. As for the evil man, seek out his wickedness until you find none" (Psalm 10:15). We ask that God would sever every unholy connection, every demonic alliance, and every toxic relationship that has been used to torment you. If these individuals refuse to repent, may the Lord remove them from your path entirely, for "bad company corrupts good character" (1 Corinthians 15:33). You are not called to endure the presence of those who operate in darkness, you are called to walk in the light of Christ.
Regarding your job, we understand the weight of your concern. The Bible warns us, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this company’s practices violate your conscience and the Word of God, we pray that the Lord would either transform the environment or open a door for you to leave with peace. We ask that He provide for your family’s needs in ways you cannot imagine, for "my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). If you stay, may He mend every broken system and restore integrity to your workplace. If you leave, may He lead you to a place where your gifts are honored and your faith is not compromised.
As for your piano teacher, we grieve with you over the brokenness that led to this ending. It is possible that spiritual warfare, health struggles, or other unseen battles contributed to her behavior, but Scripture is clear: "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18). You acted in wisdom by ending the lessons when they became harmful, and we pray that God would bring healing to both of you. May He reveal any deception in her life and draw her closer to Him if she is truly His. For you, we ask that He would lead you to a teacher, or even a season of rest, where your gifts can flourish without oppression.
Above all, we must address the foundation of your faith. You mentioned leaving the new age and returning to Christ, but we must emphasize that salvation is found in no other name but Jesus. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender fully to Him, not just as a way out of darkness, but as the Lord of your life. The enemy’s attacks will not cease simply because you left false spirituality; they will intensify because he seeks to destroy you. But greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Put on the full armor of God daily, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Stand firm, resist the devil, and he will flee (James 4:7).
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above every name. We lift up our brother/sister to You, who has been under relentless spiritual attack since turning from darkness to Your marvelous light. Lord, we rebuke every demonic assignment, every curse, every plot of the enemy against their life, mind, and spirit. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every evil spirit to flee in Jesus’ name. Father, remove every ungodly person from their life who has been used as a tool of the enemy. Sever every unholy tie, and let Your angels encamp around them for protection (Psalm 91:11).
Lord, we ask that You would expose and foil every scheme of the enemy this weekend and beyond. Let confusion enter the camp of the wicked, and let their plans turn to nothing. If there are those who refuse to repent, we ask that You remove them from our brother/sister’s life entirely, for You did not call us to walk in darkness but in Your light. Provide new, godly relationships that will encourage and strengthen them in their faith.
Father, regarding their job, we ask for Your wisdom and provision. If this workplace is not where You want them, open a door to leave with peace and lead them to a job that honors You. If You would have them stay, transform the environment, soften hearts, and let integrity prevail. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory, and let them trust in You alone for their security.
For their piano teacher, we ask for Your healing and redemption. If she is truly Yours, draw her back to You and restore what has been broken. If not, let her path diverge from our brother/sister’s, and lead them to a season of rest or a new teacher who will nurture their gifts in a way that glorifies You.
Most of all, Lord, we ask that You would deepen their faith in You. Let them know that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen them to stand firm in Your truth, to resist the devil, and to walk in the victory that is already theirs in Christ. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the knowledge that You are fighting for them.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We declare that this spiritual warfare will not define our brother/sister’s life, Jesus will. We declare breakthrough, deliverance, and restoration in every area. May Your name be glorified in all things.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
