We hear your cry for deliverance and restoration, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting all these burdens before the throne of God in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that Jesus came so that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The oppression you’ve endured since leaving the new age is not from God, and we rebuke every assignment of darkness against you in Jesus’ name. The Bible assures us that "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4 WEB). You are not fighting alone; the Lord of Hosts is your defender, and His angels are encamped around you (Psalm 34:7).
First, we address the harassment and demonic influence you’ve faced from individuals who do not follow Christ. The Bible warns that "our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms" (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). While these people may be used as vessels for evil, they are not beyond God’s reach. We pray that the Lord would bind every demonic force operating through them, expose their schemes, and render their plans powerless. Father, we ask You to intervene in the situation this weekend, frustrate every plot against Your child, confuse the enemy’s counsel, and turn their devices back upon themselves (Psalm 35:4-8). We also pray for their removal from your life, Lord. If it is Your will, sever every ungodly tie, block their access to you, and surround you with godly influences who will speak truth and life into you. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every assignment of darkness to cease in Jesus’ name.
We also lift up the financial and vocational concerns weighing on your heart. The job you love has become a source of conflict because of practices that violate your conscience, and we understand the burden of needing to provide for your family while standing firm in your faith. The Lord knows your needs before you ask Him (Matthew 6:8), and He promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We pray for wisdom as you navigate this transition, whether that means staying and seeing God transform the workplace or leaving to find a position that aligns with His principles. If you stay, Lord, we ask You to mend the brokenness in that company, soften hearts, and bring conviction where it is needed. If it is Your will for you to leave, we pray for open doors, favor in interviews, and provision that exceeds your expectations. Your coworkers are also in need of prayer, may Your peace reign in that workplace, and may Your light expose darkness and bring repentance.
Regarding your piano teacher, we acknowledge the complexity of the situation. It is possible that spiritual warfare, health issues, or other factors contributed to her behavior, but Scripture is clear that we must guard our hearts and set boundaries when necessary. The Bible says, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). Even if she professes faith, her actions may have created an unhealthy dynamic, and it is wise to step away when a relationship becomes toxic or compromising. We pray for her, Lord, if there is spiritual oppression, we ask for Your deliverance; if there is illness, we ask for Your healing. But we also pray for peace for you as you close this chapter. May the Lord bring you a teacher who will encourage your growth in faith and music, someone who reflects Christ in word and deed.
Most importantly, we want to remind you that your identity is found in Christ alone. The enemy wants to isolate you, make you feel powerless, and convince you that this warfare will never end, but God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). You are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37), and no scheme of the devil can separate you from the love of God (Romans 8:38-39). We encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Stand firm in prayer, saturate your mind with Scripture, and surround yourself with believers who will stand with you in spiritual battle.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the One through whom we have access to Your throne. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is under intense spiritual attack. We rebuke every assignment of darkness against them, every demonic force, every harassing spirit, every plot of the enemy. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers them, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Father, we ask You to expose and dismantle every scheme of the enemy, frustrate the plans of those who seek to harm them, and remove every ungodly influence from their life. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind.
We pray for their financial and vocational situation, Father. You know the desires of their heart and the needs of their family. Provide for them in ways that only You can, whether by transforming their current workplace or opening a new door of opportunity. Give them wisdom to know Your will, courage to walk in it, and peace that surpasses all understanding. For their coworkers, we ask for Your light to shine in that place, soften hearts, bring conviction, and let Your love prevail.
Lord, we also pray for their piano teacher. If there is spiritual oppression, we ask for Your deliverance; if there is illness, we ask for Your healing. But we also pray for peace for our brother/sister as they move forward. Help them to trust You with the relationships in their life, and lead them to godly mentors who will encourage them in their walk with You.
Above all, Father, we ask that You draw them closer to Yourself. Remind them that they are Your beloved child, that You are fighting for them, and that victory is already theirs in Christ. Strengthen their faith, deepen their prayer life, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. We declare that the enemy’s power is broken, and Your light will prevail in their life.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
