Spiritual warfare

Dhitlor

Faithful Servant
Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has been targeting me since I left the new age. Please pray for the removal from my life of people who have been targeting me under the influence of this warfare for years. Please also pray that God would foil something that one of the individuals who has been harassing me under the influence of demons has planned this weekend to target me (I'm so, SO, SO sick of this person and their social circle; they and their circle are obviously demonic, deranged and it is highly likely that they are possessed - they are not Christians) and permanently remove this person and others helping them from my life. I firmly believe that this person has some sort of strong demonic force in their life using them that allows them to do so much evil often unhindered. This person is so evil and even downright nonsensical and ridiculous in the evil things they do but people rarely call them out on it and it's like they're never held accountable for anything. Being around them is like being in the same room as the literal devil. It's terrible. There are other people like them involved in this harassment who are just as demonic. Please pray for their removal as well. Please also pray that God would lead me to new work. I recently started a job that I love but this company has predatory practices toward customers that I cannot take part in as a Christian and I have to leave unless somehow something changes. I am so worried about how I am going to care for my family financially now. I met with my manager about my concerns and she calmed me down a bit and was very understanding about how I felt but I still would probably like to leave this job as it is burning me out. Please pray for me about all this and for my coworkers. Pray that if I stay, God would mend all the concerns and issues myself and my coworkers are having. Please also pray for me about ending my lessons with my piano teacher. In recent months, I had been conflicted about whether or not to continue lessons with her after she did some things that made me uncomfortable to continue them. She is a professing believer but a lot of these things could have been attributed to spiritual warfare that has been targeting me since I left the new age/witchcraft and has continued even since I came back to Christ) had been using certain people who are vulnerable to be used to do unusually harmful things to me using her. There may also be things like possible dementia and a possible neurological condition causing concerning behavior in her toward others. But after praying and praying, things seemed to get better. However, something happened recently that seemed to put the nail in the coffin so to speak and I believe the lessons with her needed to end so I ended them. I feel sorry that this ended like this but I believe it had to. Thank you.

We hear your cry for deliverance and protection, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father and the power to overcome every scheme of the enemy. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and the forces of darkness seek to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that Jesus came so that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The harassment, demonic influence, and ungodly alliances you’ve endured are not from God, and we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against you in Jesus’ name.

First, we address the individuals targeting you under demonic influence. Scripture is clear: "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). These people are not your enemies, they are being used by the enemy, and we pray for their deliverance even as we pray for their removal from your life. Father, we ask You to bind every demonic spirit operating through them, to break their influence over these individuals, and to sever every ungodly tie between them and [redacted]. We declare that no weapon formed against [redacted] will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every plan of the enemy to be exposed and foiled this weekend and forevermore. Lord, if it is Your will, bring conviction to their hearts and lead them to repentance, but if they remain hardened, remove them from [redacted]’s life permanently. We trust You to be her shield and defender (Psalm 3:3).

Regarding your job, we lift up your financial concerns to the Lord, who promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). The predatory practices you’ve witnessed are not aligned with God’s heart for justice and integrity, and we understand your conviction to stand firm in your faith. Father, we ask You to open doors of opportunity for [redacted] that align with Your will, work that honors You, provides for her family, and does not compromise her conscience. If it is Your will for her to stay, we pray for transformation in the company’s practices and for her manager and coworkers to be led by Your Spirit. If it is Your will for her to leave, we ask for favor in finding new employment quickly, for wisdom in navigating this transition, and for peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We declare that [redacted] is not forsaken, and her steps are ordered by You (Psalm 37:23).

As for your piano teacher, we acknowledge the complexity of this situation. While we must show grace and patience, we are also called to discernment and wisdom (James 1:5). The concerning behavior you described, whether influenced by spiritual warfare, health issues, or other factors, required you to make a difficult but necessary decision. We pray for your teacher, that if there is any ungodly influence in her life, it would be broken, and that she would seek healing and restoration. Father, we ask for Your comfort for [redacted] as she processes this ending, and we pray that You would bring her a new teacher who will encourage her growth in faith and music without compromise.

Above all, we rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to grip you. You are not alone in this battle. "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). We encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Stand firm, resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Surround yourself with believers who will pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable in your walk with Christ.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for [redacted]’s courage in leaving the new age and returning to You. We declare that she is Your beloved child, washed by the blood of Jesus, and seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against her life, every demonic influence targeting her, and every ungodly soul tie formed through these attacks. We break every curse, hex, or ungodly word spoken over her, and we declare them null and void in Jesus’ name.

Lord, we ask You to surround [redacted] with Your angels, to station them at her doors, and to create a hedge of protection around her and her family (Psalm 91:11). Remove every person from her life who does not align with Your will, and replace them with godly, faithful believers who will sharpen her and encourage her in the faith. We pray for the individuals harassing her, that their eyes would be opened to the darkness they are entangled in, and that they would turn to You for deliverance. If they refuse, we ask that You remove them from her path permanently.

Father, we lift up her financial concerns to You. You know her needs before she even asks (Matthew 6:8), and we trust You to provide. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and give her wisdom to discern Your will regarding her job. If she is to stay, transform the company’s practices and bring unity and peace among her coworkers. If she is to leave, provide for her abundantly and lead her to work that honors You.

We also pray for her piano teacher. If there is any ungodly influence in her life, we ask that it be broken, and that she would seek You for healing and restoration. Comfort [redacted] in this transition, and bring her a new teacher who will encourage her in both music and faith.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You fill [redacted] with Your peace, joy, and strength. Remind her daily that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). Help her to fix her eyes on You, the author and perfecter of her faith (Hebrews 12:2), and to walk in the victory that is already hers in Jesus.

We pray all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Savior, and Deliverer. Amen.

We hear the exhaustion and the relentless weight you’re carrying, the spiritual harassment, the troubling job situation, and the hard decision to end piano lessons. It’s a lot to hold at once, and we’re grateful you reached out.

What stood out to us is how fiercely you’re trying to walk in the light after leaving the new age. That kind of turnaround often stirs fierce opposition, and your weariness makes sense. We’ve learned, though, that God’s deliverance is sometimes less about one dramatic eviction of every troubling person and more about a steady strengthening of our own feet as we refuse to let fear take the wheel. That doesn’t mean the attacks aren’t real or that we stop asking God to foil the enemy’s plans, we do, urgently. But in the waiting, you can anchor yourself in the unshakeable truth that you belong to Christ, and no harassing voice can snatch you out of His hand. Every day you stand, you’re proving their power over you is broken.

On the job front, your integrity is a bright light. It’s deeply unsettling to love your work but see practices you can’t participate in with a clear conscience. We’re praying that if you stay, God would make a way for those concerns to be addressed, and if you go, He would open new work that you can do wholeheartedly. In the meantime, a concrete step might be to quietly update your résumé and explore other opportunities, trusting that God sees your family’s needs and will provide. You’re not alone in this; many believers have walked that tightrope between earning a living and keeping a clean conscience, and God has been faithful.

We’re also glad you had the clarity to end the piano lessons. That took courage, especially when you cared about the teacher. Sometimes stepping away is the most loving thing we can do when the relationship becomes unsafe or confusing.

Let’s pray.

Lord Jesus, we lift up our sister. She is bone weary and under fire. We ask You to surround her with Your angels, to block every scheme of the enemy this weekend, and to scatter those who are being used to harass her. Give her clear eyes to see Your hand of protection. For her job, grant wisdom and courage. If staying is Your will, mend the ethical rot. If leaving is Your will, provide a new place where she can thrive and care for her family. For the pain of ending lessons, bring peace and closure. Most of all, let her feel Your nearness, that You are her refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. In Your mighty name, Amen.

It seems the battle rages fierce, but remember, “He has delivered us from the power of darkness.” Your leaving the new age has stirred the serpent’s nest, yet greater is He that is in you. The scheme planned for this weekend lies within the fence of Omnipotent overruling; not a whisper of evil moves without Divine permission. “The Lord has chastened you sorely,” but He has not given you over unto death. “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” Delight to think that out of this very trial, life and health shall spring through briny tears.

As for those who harass you, “the legions of evil spirits cease not their mischievous endeavors,” but “God has given commandment to save you and you shall be saved, saved from the devil!” Pray for their conversion, yet do not fix your gaze so long upon the rod that you forget the Father’s hand. He can ransom you from the power of the grave, and that redemption covers every necessity, sickness, slander, depression, and the plots of the wicked. You shall be the plague of Satan and the destroyer of his strongholds by your patience.

Concerning your employment, if the company’s ways are evil, “turn you, turn you from your evil ways.” You cannot prosper while partaking in predatory practices; the Lord who feeds the ravens will care for your family. “Be of good cheer; He calls you” to trust Him, not to go down into the pit of compromise. As for the piano teacher, it was a right sorrow but a necessary severance. The Lord gave you wisdom to end what had become a snare. Do not linger over that closed door, He has delivered you from going down to the pit.

Pray without ceasing. “In the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.” The fear of the Lord will drive you into Christ’s bosom, your place of refuge. He that redeemed Israel from all iniquity will also redeem Israel from all his troubles. Keep yourself from your own iniquity, perhaps the iniquity of despair or bitterness, and watch how the Lord works a miracle of grace. You are washed, you are delivered. Go forward, and declare His works.
