Faithful Servant
Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has been targeting me since I left the new age. Please pray for the removal from my life of people who have been targeting me under the influence of this warfare for years. Please also pray that God would foil something that one of the individuals who has been harassing me under the influence of demons has planned this weekend to target me (I'm so, SO, SO sick of this person and their social circle; they and their circle are obviously demonic, deranged and it is highly likely that they are possessed - they are not Christians) and permanently remove this person and others helping them from my life. I firmly believe that this person has some sort of strong demonic force in their life using them that allows them to do so much evil often unhindered. This person is so evil and even downright nonsensical and ridiculous in the evil things they do but people rarely call them out on it and it's like they're never held accountable for anything. Being around them is like being in the same room as the literal devil. It's terrible. There are other people like them involved in this harassment who are just as demonic. Please pray for their removal as well. Please also pray that God would lead me to new work. I recently started a job that I love but this company has predatory practices toward customers that I cannot take part in as a Christian and I have to leave unless somehow something changes. I am so worried about how I am going to care for my family financially now. I met with my manager about my concerns and she calmed me down a bit and was very understanding about how I felt but I still would probably like to leave this job as it is burning me out. Please pray for me about all this and for my coworkers. Pray that if I stay, God would mend all the concerns and issues myself and my coworkers are having. Please also pray for me about ending my lessons with my piano teacher. In recent months, I had been conflicted about whether or not to continue lessons with her after she did some things that made me uncomfortable to continue them. She is a professing believer but a lot of these things could have been attributed to spiritual warfare that has been targeting me since I left the new age/witchcraft and has continued even since I came back to Christ) had been using certain people who are vulnerable to be used to do unusually harmful things to me using her. There may also be things like possible dementia and a possible neurological condition causing concerning behavior in her toward others. But after praying and praying, things seemed to get better. However, something happened recently that seemed to put the nail in the coffin so to speak and I believe the lessons with her needed to end so I ended them. I feel sorry that this ended like this but I believe it had to. Please also pray for me about church. I am constantly struggling with negative, intrusive thoughts about the church I go to. I had some struggles at my church where the same warfare I mentioned earlier in this request (which has been targeting me since I was in the new age/witchcraft and has continued even since I came back to Christ) had been using certain people at church to do unusually harmful things to me. I actually was considering leaving this church at the beginning of the year but when I started backing away, my church members began trying to fix certain things that had happened to cause me to want to leave (I didn't tell anyone that I wanted to leave, I just started backing away). I eventually decided to stay and realized that my church members do truly care for me and my relative who attends with me. But the intrusive thoughts still come and I even start to listen to them at times. I really think that these negative thoughts toward church are being used by Satan to try to pull me away from my church so I will be more vulnerable to his evil including the evil that he tries to do in my life through those people who are harassing me who I also mentioned earlier in the prayer request. Please pray for me about all this. Thank you.

We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, through whom we have access to the Father and the power to overcome every scheme of the enemy. Your struggle is real, and the spiritual warfare you are facing is intense, but we serve a God who is greater than any force of darkness. The Bible tells us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). We take authority over every demonic influence targeting you, declaring that they must flee in Jesus' name.

We rebuke the harassment and evil plans of those who have been used by the enemy to torment you. The individuals you described, who operate under demonic influence, are not beyond the reach of God’s justice. We pray that the Lord would expose their deeds, confound their plans, and remove them from your life permanently. The Word says, "The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you" (Psalm 9:9-10 WEB). We declare that God is your refuge and that He will silence the voices of your enemies. We also pray for their salvation, that their eyes would be opened to the truth of Jesus Christ, for "the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them" (2 Corinthians 4:4 WEB). May the light of Christ pierce their darkness.

Regarding your job, we lift up your concerns to the Lord, who is your Provider. It is commendable that you refuse to compromise your faith for the sake of employment, as Scripture warns, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). We pray that God would either transform the practices of your workplace to align with His will or open a new door for you that honors Him. The Lord knows your needs, and He promises, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33 WEB). Trust in Him to provide for your family as you walk in obedience.

We also pray for wisdom and peace as you navigate the decision to end your piano lessons. It is clear that the Lord has given you discernment in this situation, and we ask that He would heal any sorrow or guilt you may feel. The Bible instructs us, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God" (Romans 12:2 WEB). We pray that God would bring clarity and resolution, and that He would surround you with godly mentors and teachers who will encourage your growth in Him.

For your struggles with the church, we stand against the lies of the enemy that seek to isolate you and pull you away from fellowship. The enemy knows that "if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand" (Mark 3:25 WEB), and he will use every tactic to divide believers. We rebuke the intrusive thoughts and declare that they have no power over you. Instead, we pray that God would strengthen your faith and deepen your love for His body, the church. The Word tells us, "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:24-25 WEB). We pray that your church would continue to be a place of healing, restoration, and growth for you and your family.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear brother/sister who is under intense spiritual attack, and we ask that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection. Lord, we rebuke every demonic influence targeting them, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we ask that You would remove from their life every person who has been used by the enemy to harm them. Confound the plans of the wicked and expose their deeds, Lord, so that justice may prevail.

We pray for this individual’s job situation, Father. You know their heart and their desire to honor You in all things. Provide for their family as only You can, and open doors of opportunity that align with Your will. If it is Your plan for them to stay in this job, we ask that You would transform the practices of their workplace to reflect Your righteousness. If it is Your will for them to leave, we trust that You will guide their steps to a new place of employment that honors You.

Lord, we also lift up their decision to end piano lessons. Give them peace and wisdom as they move forward, and heal any hurt or confusion in their heart. Surround them with godly mentors who will encourage them in their walk with You.

For their struggles with the church, Father, we ask that You would silence the lies of the enemy. Strengthen their faith and help them to see Your hand at work in their church family. Protect their mind from intrusive thoughts and fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to stand firm in the truth of Your Word and to resist the devil, so that he will flee from them (James 4:7).

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We declare that this brother/sister is more than a conqueror through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). Strengthen them, Lord, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit so that they may walk in victory and freedom. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We hear how exhausting and relentless this season has been, and we're so sorry you're carrying all of this at once. The constant pressure, the specific worry about this weekend, and the weight of decisions about work and church, it’s a lot. We want you to know you are not alone in this fight, and we are standing with you before the Lord right now.

It is no small thing that you stepped out of the new age and back to Christ. That transition often stirs fierce spiritual resistance, but the One who holds you is stronger by far. We are praying that whatever has been planned against you this weekend would be undone, scattered, and rendered powerless. We are also asking God to permanently remove these harassing individuals from your life, and to give you a tangible sense of His protection even in the middle of the chaos.

With work, we see your integrity shining through, and that honors God. The burnout you’re feeling is real, and it’s okay to acknowledge that. As you pray about staying or leaving, maybe begin quietly exploring other options just to see what doors might open. If there’s a way to stay without compromising your conscience, we trust God to make that clear; if not, He will provide. Lean into that.

The intrusive thoughts about church are a common tactic, they thrive on isolation. Is there one mature, safe person in your congregation you could tell a little of what you’re carrying? Even a brief conversation can break some of the fog and remind you that you truly are cared for there. You’ve already seen signs of that care.

We also grieve with you over the pain of ending piano lessons. Sometimes a relationship must end, and even when it’s right, it can leave a tender place. Be gentle with yourself there.

Lord Jesus, we ask You to throw a shield around this beloved one. Dismantle every plan the enemy has set for this weekend. Remove permanently those who are being used to harass and harm, and let Your peace settle deeply. Guide the work decisions and steady this heart. Quiet the lies that pull against church community, and restore comfort and trust. We rest in Your authority over every dark force. Amen.

You have been in deep waters, I know. The waves have not let you rest since the day you fled from the darkness and turned your face toward the Light. The enemy does not easily release a soul once held in his shadow, and the conflict you describe, the constant pressure, the inexplicable malice, the weariness that goes down into your bones, all of it speaks of a real and present battle. But take heart, for the Lord who called you out of that Egypt will not leave you to drown in the sea. The hand that drew you from the pit is not shortened; it is stretched out still, and it will hold you fast.

Do not be surprised when the evil one sends his arrows thick and fast. There is one in particular he loves to shoot at the heart of a returning child: the dark insinuation that God has cast you off, that your sins are too many, that you will never be safe, never be clean, never be free. You have felt that thought, haven’t you? It whispers in the night, it masquerades as your own reasoning, and it paints God as a hard master who will not keep His own word. Child, that is not the voice of your Shepherd. It is a lying dart from hell. The Lord has not forsaken you. He cannot forsake what He has purchased with His own blood. When you came back to Christ, you were sealed with that name which is above every name, and no demon in the abyss can break that seal.

You speak of a person, and perhaps more than one, whose presence feels like the very atmosphere of the pit. I do not need to know the details. The Lord knows. He who sat as a refiner at the door of the fiery furnace has His eye upon every instrument the enemy would wield, and not one of their schemes can move forward an inch without His permission. Your safety does not lie in their removal, though I earnestly pray they be taken out of your path. Your safety lies in this: that you are hidden in Christ, and Christ sits above all rule and authority. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against him. The plots conceived against you this very weekend are known in heaven before they are whispered in the dark; and your Father, who keeps His eye on the sparrow, will confound them. Leave those souls in His hands, for He is the judge of all the earth. Your portion is to rest under the shadow of His wings and let Him fight for you.

I hear your heart ache over the work you have taken up. You love the labor but cannot sell your conscience. That is a grief that cuts deep, and I do not make light of it. Yet this trial, too, lies within the fence of God’s overruling providence. The same Lord who brought His people out of Egypt with silver and gold will not starve you for choosing righteousness. He knows your household lies upon your heart. He who fed the ravens will not forget your need. If He wills that you stay, He can turn the hearts of those in authority, or bring such light to that place that right dealings flourish. If He calls you out, then go with your head high, for to leave Egypt with a clean conscience is to carry treasure untold. Wait upon Him a little; He will make the door open or close so plainly that you will not stumble in the dark.

The parting with your teacher has its own sting. I know it is painful when a door shuts with a jar, and you wish it could have been gentler. But a wound may be clean though it is sharp. If the Spirit of God made it plain that those lessons must end, then end they did, and you are not to carry the weight of sorrow as though you had acted unkindly. The Good Shepherd often leads His sheep away from a path that looked pleasant because He sees what we cannot. Trust Him for that soul, too, and leave her in the hands that never do anything less than right.

And the church, those intrusive thoughts that come like bats flitting through a sanctuary. Tell me, do you not recognize that arrow? It is the same one: “God has left you; these people are against you; you would be safer alone.” But a sheep torn from the fold is the easiest prey. The Lord knit you into that body, and though His people are poor flawed vessels, they are the flock He tends. You have seen their care for you; you have tasted their love. When the dark thought rises, do not argue with it, flee to Christ. Say to your own heart, “He has delivered me from the power of darkness, and He will deliver me still.” Then open the Book and drink deep from the well that never runs dry. There is a promise for every pang, a cordial for every faint. Let the water of life flood over your soul until the muddy footprints of the enemy are washed away.

Dear heart, you are not going down to the pit. That ground has been closed forever to those who are in Jesus. You are going on, step by struggling step, toward the land where there is no adversary and no weariness. The battle is sharp, but the victory is already won. Christ has overcome, and He makes you a partaker of that conquest. The day will soon break and the shadows flee away. Until then, keep your hand in your Father’s, even when it is too dark to see His face.

Gracious Father, we bring this beloved child before You, one whom You snatched from the darkness and washed in the blood of the Lamb. Rebuke the devourer for her sake. Let every plot formed against her be shattered like glass. Give her wisdom and clear direction in her work, and open a door of honest provision that she may feed those she loves. Grant her peace about the hard farewell she has spoken, and silence the lying whispers that would draw her from the fellowship of the saints. Lord Jesus, be to her the shield and the sun, the pillow and the strong tower. Let her feel Your nearness tonight, and let her sleep in the hollow of Your hand, for we ask it in Your all-conquering name. Amen.

You describe a fierce contest, and rightly, for the life of a Christian is no soft repose but an arena of combat. As soon as you turned from the darkness of the new age to the light of Christ, you stripped for the struggle, and the enemy, raging at his loss, has marshaled his assaults. Do not be surprised. No one wrestles while feasting; no soldier expects ease on the battlefield. This present time is for toil, for vigil, for standing firm in the armor God supplies. The Captain you follow is unconquerable, and He permits these skirmishes not to crush you but to exercise your strength, that you may learn to despise the enemy’s threats and cling to nothing but His command.

But take care that your warfare be good. There is a warfare that is evil, when a man yields his members to uncleanness and iniquity, serving under a tyrant. And there is a manner of fighting that becomes evil when the soul, instead of preserving charity, falls into raging and hatred. To see others doing harm under demonic influence is to pity them as we pity a demoniac, yet we must guard our own hearts. Do not allow their wickedness to kindle in you a self-chosen madness that turns your mouth and eyes into sewers of bitterness. Keep your interior peace, and let God deal with them. He knows how to foil every scheme; when Herod plotted, the infant King was carried into Egypt, and the scheme burst like a bubble. One whispered breath from God, and all the plots of the ungodly scatter. Entrust vindication to Him who sees in secret.

Concerning your work, your teacher, and your church: the same warfare runs through them all. You feel the tug of desiring an easier path, but recall that the Lord does not promise deliverance from every trial; rather, He strengthens us within them. When you cannot share in predatory practices, your conscience speaks truly. Do not cooperate with sin, but do not rashly throw yourself from the ship. Pray, seek counsel, and watch for God’s provision. With the teacher, if association became a near occasion of harm or confusion, you did well to withdraw for the soul’s safety. Yet do not dwell in suspicion or imagined plots; fix your mind on things above.

The intrusive thoughts about your church are precisely the sort of arrows the enemy shoots when he sees you finding shelter among the brethren. He would isolate you, make you his prey. You have seen signs of genuine love, those members reached for you when you pulled away. Let these proofs anchor you. The Church is a field hospital for the wounded, and even within it imperfections abound, but do not let the enemy persuade you that the remedy lies in flight. Fight there, on your knees, “warring a good warfare” right where you are. Repentance can scrape off the old age of sin, though it cannot restore the first brightness of baptismal innocence; still, grace renews what we submit to Him in humility.

Stand fast. Arm yourself with prayer, fasting, and the medicine of the Scriptures. Call upon the Commander who stands ready to help. He will bring to nothing the plans of those who harass you, in His own time, while He forges in you a soul made strong by endurance. Do not seek a life without conflict; seek to conquer in the conflict, and you will find rest not now, but in the haven.
