Spiritual warfare

Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. Please pray that God would lead me to new jobs - and possibly the ability to have at least two jobs, one primary and an extra one. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My dad who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for three of my cats - two who were scratching themselves too hard and accidentally caused wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray that I would stay disciplined in eating according to a diet I have to eat on due to a medical condition. Thank you.

We hear your heart and the weight you’re carrying. It’s so hard when spiritual attacks feel constant, when the enemy tries to steal your peace, your sleep, even your joy in the little things like your pets. The shame you feel over those thoughts must be exhausting, but Jesus already paid for that victory on the cross. We’re praying that God would break those chains once and for all, that He’d replace the darkness with His light and the confusion with His perfect peace. We’re asking Him to bring rest to your nights, clarity to your days, and strength for whatever comes next. And those cats, our prayers are already going up for their little bodies to mend and their little hearts to stay full of vitality. May God’s healing power surround your whole family, from your dad to every cat under your roof. Lord, we lift this up to You and trust You to move in power. In Jesus’ name we pray.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over these past several days. It has been our heart to lift you before the Lord, asking Him to break every chain of spiritual warfare that has targeted you since childhood. We have prayed for peace to flood your mind and heart, especially as you battle those vivid, disturbing dreams that leave you weary. Father, we asked You to silence the enemy’s whispers and replace every lie with Your truth.

We have also cried out for rest—true rest—in your spirit, soul, and body. It grieves us to know how overwhelmed you’ve felt, with constant demands and attacks pressing in from every side. We prayed for God to quiet the noise, to give you margin in your days, and to bring order to your schedule so that you could sleep at a decent hour. Lord, we asked You to open doors for new job opportunities, even the possibility of extra work, so that financial burdens would lift and provision would flow.

With heavy hearts, we interceded for your deliverance from maladaptive daydreaming and the torment of inappropriate sexual thoughts, especially in those vulnerable moments as you drift off to sleep. We stood in the gap, pleading the blood of Jesus over your mind, asking for the Holy Spirit’s power to break every stronghold and restore purity to your thought life. We reminded the Lord of the freedom He has given you before and asked Him to do it again—no condemnation, no shame, just grace to rise and walk in victory. We also prayed for strength to resist temptation, especially as depression has sought to pull you into unhealthy outlets. May the joy of the Lord be your strength, and may His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

For the African American community, we prayed against every false teaching that has taken root, asking God to raise up truth-tellers and to open eyes to the light of His Word. We lifted your family, asking for healing from this flu and protection for those caring for others—especially your dad, who seemed to be recovering but is now struggling again. May the Lord restore his health completely and shield the rest of your family from further sickness.

We also brought your precious cats before the Lord—those with wounds from scratching, the one who made that strange noise, and all of them together. We asked the Great Physician to heal their bodies, protect them from illness, and provide wisdom for their care. Father, we know how deeply you love them, and we trust You to meet their needs, even when resources are scarce.

Lastly, we prayed for discipline in your eating, asking the Lord to strengthen your resolve and help you honor the diet your body requires. May He give you the grace to walk in obedience, even when it’s hard.

If any of these prayers have been answered—if you’ve experienced even a moment of peace, a breakthrough in temptation, healing in your body or your family’s, or provision in any area—we would love to hear your praise report. Your testimony could encourage others who are fighting similar battles. If, however, the warfare still rages, the dreams persist, or the burdens feel just as heavy, please post again. We are not done praying. We will continue to stand with you, lifting your name before the throne of grace until every chain is broken and every need is met.
