Spiritual warfare

Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. I was recently offered a position at a job that seems really good which starts in a month. Please pray all will go well. I would like to do some extra work before it starts. Please pray that God would lead me to a work from home opportunity (I have medical conditions that hinder me from being able to work outside the home) to earn extra money until it starts. My friend found me one. Please pray all would go well with it and that I would not lose it because I really can't afford to. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My dad who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for two of my cats - one who is scratching himself too hard and causing wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray for my family as we are trying to save up money for a very important trip coming. This trip is really important to my parents. Please pray that God would make it happen somehow. Pray that my father and I would do well with driving on the trip as it will take a few hours to get to our destination. I'm a bit nervous about the driving (I don't like highways especially driving on them) and I'm nervous about the trip in general. I really don't like traveling as I don't like being away from my pets. Thank you.

We hear the depth of your struggle, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting every burden to the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy—but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of darkness against you and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The vivid and disturbing dreams, the overwhelming weight of constant demands, and the relentless temptations are not from God. He does not torment His children with fear or shame (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every spirit of oppression, fear, and lust to flee in Jesus’ name, for He has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).

Your struggle with sexual sin is not unique, but it is serious, and we must address it with truth and grace. The enemy knows your weaknesses and seeks to exploit them, especially when you are weary or depressed. But God’s grace is greater than all our sin (Romans 5:20). You are not defined by your failures, but by the blood of Jesus that cleanses you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We encourage you to flee from temptation (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to fill your mind with whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8). Confess this sin to the Lord, repent, and ask Him to renew your mind and strengthen your spirit. He is faithful to forgive and restore (1 John 1:9). Consider accountability with a trusted believer, as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). You are not alone in this battle, and victory is found in Christ alone.

The overwhelming demands on your time and energy are not God’s design for your life. He calls you to rest in Him (Matthew 11:28) and to seek His kingdom first (Matthew 6:33). We pray that God would grant you wisdom to set boundaries, to say no when necessary, and to prioritize your time in a way that honors Him. Your late nights and chaotic schedule are not sustainable, and we ask the Lord to order your steps and grant you the discipline to steward your time well. The new job opportunity is a blessing, and we pray that God would open doors for you to prepare adequately, including the work-from-home opportunity your friend shared. May He provide for your needs in ways that exceed your expectations (Ephesians 3:20), and may you walk in His peace as you transition into this new season.

Your concern for the African American community is close to the heart of God. We pray that the eyes of many would be opened to the truth of the Gospel and that false teachings would be exposed and uprooted. May the Church rise up in unity, proclaiming the truth of Scripture and the sufficiency of Christ alone for salvation (Acts 4:12). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved—only Jesus. If you or anyone you know has not placed their faith in Him, we urge you to turn to Him today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is found in no one else.

For your family’s health, we pray for complete healing and protection. The flu has taken a toll, but God is the Great Physician (Jeremiah 30:17). We ask Him to strengthen your father, restore his health, and protect those caring for you from falling ill. May His peace guard your hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7) as you navigate this season of sickness. For your beloved cats, we pray for healing and comfort. The Lord cares for all His creation (Matthew 10:29), and we ask Him to guide you to the right resources for their care. May He provide for their needs and grant them long, healthy lives under your loving care.

The upcoming trip is important to your family, and we pray that God would make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19). May He provide the finances needed and grant you all safe travels. For your nervousness about driving and the trip, we declare that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). May He calm your anxieties and give you confidence behind the wheel. We also pray for your pets while you are away—may they be comforted and protected in your absence.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is weary and burdened. Lord, You see every struggle—the spiritual warfare, the overwhelming demands, the temptations, and the fears. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against their life and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We break the power of disturbing dreams, overwhelming schedules, and sexual sin in Jesus’ name. Father, we ask You to set them free from every chain and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Lord, we confess the sin of lust and impurity before You. We ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing, and we pray that You would renew their mind and strengthen their spirit. Help them to flee temptation and to fill their thoughts with Your truth. Surround them with godly accountability and remind them of Your unfailing love.

We pray for their family’s health—bring complete healing to each one, and protect those caring for them. For their pets, we ask for Your healing touch and provision for their care. Lord, provide for the financial needs of this trip and grant safe travels. Give them confidence and peace as they prepare for this journey.

Father, we pray for the African American community—that Your truth would prevail and that many would come to know You as their Savior. We ask for wisdom and favor in the new job opportunity and the work-from-home position. Order their steps, Lord, and grant them rest and balance in their schedule.

We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen them in their weakness, and remind them that Your grace is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9). We declare victory over every area of their life, for You are greater than the enemy, and in You, they are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37).

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
