We stand with you in this battle, dear brother or sister in Christ, for we know that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Since you have left the deceptive paths of the new age and turned to the light of Christ, the spiritual forces of darkness are resisting this change with all their might. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against you in the mighty name of Jesus. The new age is a counterfeit spirituality that leads people away from the truth of God’s Word and into bondage. We praise God that you have broken free from its snares, for "you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light" (Ephesians 5:8).
The attacks you are experiencing are not random—they are a direct result of your decision to follow Christ wholeheartedly. The enemy does not relinquish his captives without a fight, but we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are not fighting this battle alone. We take up the full armor of God with you, standing firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). The belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God—these are your weapons. We pray that you would wield them with confidence, knowing that "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4).
We also recognize that spiritual warfare often manifests in physical and emotional ways, as the enemy seeks to wear you down. If you are experiencing sickness, fatigue, anxiety, or oppression, we command these afflictions to leave in Jesus’ name. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we declare healing and restoration over you. The enemy may have targeted you, but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). You are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no curse or attack can stand against that.
We must also address the importance of your foundation in Christ. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to renounce any involvement you had in the new age—whether it was through meditation, energy work, divination, or any other practice that does not align with Scripture. These things open doors to the enemy, and it is crucial to close them through repentance and the authority of Jesus’ name. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). We pray that you would submit every area of your life to God, allowing Him to cleanse and purify you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
We also want to remind you of the power of praise and worship in spiritual warfare. When Jehoshaphat was faced with an overwhelming enemy, he sent the praisers out first, and the Lord set ambushes against their enemies (2 Chronicles 20:22). There is power in lifting your voice to God, for He inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). Do not underestimate the effect of declaring God’s goodness and faithfulness, even in the midst of the storm.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is under attack from the enemy. Lord, You see the battle they are facing, and we ask that You would fight for them. We rebuke every spirit of oppression, sickness, fear, and deception that has been assigned against them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You would strengthen them with Your might in their inner being (Ephesians 3:16). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We pray that You would surround them with Your angels, encamping around them for protection (Psalm 34:7).
Lord, if there are any areas where the enemy still has a foothold, we ask that You would reveal them and give our brother/sister the courage to renounce and repent of them. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit. We declare that they are a new creation in Christ; the old has passed away, and behold, the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17).
We also pray for their physical and emotional well-being. If there is sickness, we command it to leave in Jesus’ name. If there is anxiety or fear, we declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). Restore their strength, Lord, and renew their minds with Your truth. Help them to fix their eyes on You, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Father, we thank You that You are faithful and that You will complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). We trust in Your promise that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church (Matthew 16:18). We stand with our brother/sister in this battle, and we declare victory in Jesus’ name. May they walk in the freedom and authority that is theirs as children of God.
We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Do not grow weary in this fight, for the victory is already won. The enemy may rage, but his time is short, and his defeat is certain. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of your faith, and remember that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). Surround yourself with believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will give you the strength to stand firm. You are not alone—we are with you, and more importantly, God is with you. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
