Faithful Servant
Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for God to lead my family to a new church. I was recently offered a position at a job that seems really good which starts in a month. Please pray all will go well. I would like to do some extra work before it starts. Please pray that God would lead me to a work from home opportunity (I have medical conditions that hinder me from being able to work outside the home) to earn extra money until it starts. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. 💔 I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My dad who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for two of my cats - one who is scratching himself too hard and causing wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray for my family as we are trying to save up money for a very important trip coming next month. I have a good amount of money saved up from my job that I recently quit but I just need some more money. This trip is really important to my parents. Please pray that God would make it happen somehow. Pray that my father and I would do well with driving on the trip as it will take a few hours to get to our destination. I'm a bit nervous about the driving (I don't like highways) and I'm nervous about the trip in general. Thank you.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in spiritual warfare, lifting every burden before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of darkness against you in the mighty name of Jesus. The vivid and disturbing dreams, the relentless attacks, and the overwhelming weight you carry are not from God. He does not torment His children with fear or shame. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7).

The sexual thoughts and temptations you describe are indeed a serious struggle, but they do not define you. The enemy wants you to believe you are powerless, but Scripture declares, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). You are not alone in this battle. The shame you feel is a tool of the enemy to keep you isolated, but Jesus bore all shame on the cross. Confess this sin to Him, for "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We pray for a renewed mind, that you would take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Replace these thoughts with the truth of God’s Word and the promise of His strength in your weakness.

The depression you are experiencing is real, and we do not dismiss it. But we also know that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). We pray for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). You mentioned using these thoughts as an outlet, and we encourage you to seek godly counsel, accountability, and perhaps even professional help to address the root of this struggle. You are not meant to carry this alone. The body of Christ is here to support you, and we urge you to reach out to trusted believers who can walk alongside you in this battle.

We also address the issue of maladaptive daydreaming. While it may feel like an escape, it can become a stronghold that keeps you from fully engaging with the life God has called you to. We pray for discipline and focus, that your mind would be renewed by the washing of the water of the Word (Ephesians 5:26). Fill your thoughts with what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8). Replace the daydreams with prayer, worship, and the study of Scripture. The Holy Spirit is your Helper, and He will guide you into all truth (John 16:13).

For your family’s health, we pray healing and protection over each of you. The flu can be debilitating, and we ask the Lord to restore strength and vitality. "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We pray that no one else in your family would fall ill while caring for one another. For your father, we ask for complete recovery and for his cough to subside. May the Lord grant you all rest and comfort during this time.

Regarding your cats, we lift them up to the Lord, who cares even for the sparrows (Matthew 10:29). We pray for healing for the one who is scratching and causing wounds, and for continued health for the other. The Lord is your provider, and we trust Him to meet your needs, even in finding a trustworthy vet if it becomes necessary. "Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?" (Matthew 6:26).

For your new job, we pray for favor and preparation. May the Lord go before you and make your path straight (Proverbs 3:6). We ask Him to open doors for remote work opportunities that align with your medical needs, providing both income and flexibility. "Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established" (Proverbs 16:3). Trust that He knows your needs and will provide in His perfect timing.

The upcoming trip is clearly important to your family, and we pray for God’s provision and peace. May He grant you the funds needed and calm your nerves about the driving. "The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace" (Exodus 14:14). We pray for safe travels and that this trip would be a time of blessing and unity for your family.

For your family’s search for a new church, we pray for wisdom and discernment. May the Lord lead you to a body of believers where you can grow in faith, find community, and serve together. "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near" (Hebrews 10:24-25). A church that preaches the full counsel of God’s Word, including the truth about sin and salvation, is essential. We also pray for the African American community to be set free from false teachings that distort the Gospel. May they come to know the true freedom found only in Christ, who said, "If you abide in My word, you are truly My disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:31-32).

Finally, we must address the foundation of your faith. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the starting point for true victory in spiritual warfare and every other battle you face.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine intervention in every area of their life. Lord, You see the spiritual warfare they have endured, and we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Break the chains of fear, tormenting dreams, and overwhelming burdens. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Father, we ask for deliverance from the sexual sin that has ensnared them. Cleanse their mind and heart, and renew their thoughts with Your truth. Help them to resist temptation and to flee from every appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22). Surround them with godly accountability and remind them that Your grace is sufficient for every struggle (2 Corinthians 12:9). We pray for healing from depression and maladaptive daydreaming, that they would find their joy and strength in You alone.

Lord, we ask for Your healing touch over their family as they battle the flu. Restore their health and protect them from further illness. Provide for their needs, including the care of their beloved pets. Open doors for remote work opportunities and provide the funds needed for their upcoming trip. Go before them on the road and grant them safe travels.

Lead their family to a church that preaches Your Word in truth and love. Set the African American community free from false teachings and draw them into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. Father, we ask all these things according to Your will, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness. Strengthen our brother/sister in their faith and remind them that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).

We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus, our Lord, Savior, and Deliverer. Amen.

Dear friend,

We hear your heart's cry and we're here to stand with you. The enemy's attacks can be relentless, but remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let's claim these promises together:

1. **Spiritual Warfare**: "The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace" (Exodus 14:14). We declare that every assignment of darkness against you is broken in the mighty name of Jesus.

2. **Vivid Dreams**: "When you lie down, you will not be afraid; yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet" (Proverbs 3:24). We pray that you would find rest and peace in your sleep, free from disturbing dreams.

3. **Overwhelming Burdens**: "Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you" (Psalm 55:22). We encourage you to lay down your burdens at the feet of Jesus and trust Him to carry you through.

4. **Sexual Temptations**: "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). We pray for a renewed mind and the strength to resist temptation.

5. **Family's Health**: "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2). We pray for healing and protection over your family.

6. **New Job**: "Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established" (Proverbs 16:3). We pray for favor and preparation in your new role, and for God to open doors for remote work opportunities.

7. **Upcoming Trip**: "The Lord will provide" (Genesis 22:14). We trust that God will make a way for this trip to happen and grant you peace about the driving.

8. **New Church**: "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path" (Psalm 119:105). We pray for God to lead you to a church where His Word is preached, and where you can grow in faith and find community.

9. **African American Community**: "If the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed" (John 8:36). We pray for the African American community to be set free from false teachings and to know the true freedom found in Christ.

10. **Your Faith**: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8). We remind you that your faith in Jesus is what saves you, and He is faithful to complete the work He began in you.

We pray all these things in Jesus' name.
