Faithful Servant
Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for God to lead my family to a new church. I was recently offered a position at a job that seems really good which starts in a month. Please pray all will go well. I would like to do some extra work before it starts. Please pray that God would lead me to a work from home opportunity (I have medical conditions that hinder me from being able to work outside the home) to earn extra money until it starts. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. 💔 I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My dad who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for two of my cats - one who is scratching himself too hard and causing wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray for my family as we are trying to save up money for a very important trip coming next month. I have a good amount of money saved up from my job that I recently quit but I just need some more money. This trip is really important to my parents. Please pray that God would make it happen somehow. Pray that my father and I would do well with driving on the trip as it will take a few hours to get to our destination. I'm a bit nervous about the driving (I don't like highways) and I'm nervous about the trip in general. Thank you.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and we take authority over every scheme of the enemy that has sought to oppress you since childhood. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We rebuke every assignment of darkness sent to torment your mind, your dreams, and your peace. The enemy has no right to steal, kill, or destroy in your life—Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).

We command every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression to flee from you now in the name of Jesus. The vivid and disturbing dreams you experience are not from God, for He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). We pray that the Lord would surround you with His peace, that you would rest in the shadow of the Almighty, and that no weapon formed against you would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and fortress—trust in Him, and He will deliver you from every snare (Psalm 91:2-3).

Your overwhelm is understandable, but we remind you that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The constant demands on your time and energy are not your burden to carry alone. Cast your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We pray that God would give you moments of stillness and quiet, where you can hear His voice and feel His presence. You are not alone—He is with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).

We lift up your family’s search for a new church, asking that God would lead you to a body of believers where His Word is preached in truth, where the Holy Spirit moves freely, and where you can grow in faith and fellowship. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." May He direct your steps to the place where He wants you to be.

Regarding the job opportunity that begins next month, we pray that God would open every door He has prepared for you and close every door that is not His will. May this position be a blessing to you and a place where you can use your gifts for His glory. We also pray for a work-from-home opportunity to provide for your needs until then, trusting that God knows your medical limitations and will provide in ways that honor Him. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

The struggle with maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts is a battle for your mind, and we take it seriously. The enemy seeks to exploit your vulnerabilities, especially when you are weary or depressed. But we declare that you are not powerless—you have the Holy Spirit living within you, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We rebuke the spirit of lust and temptation in the name of Jesus and command it to leave you now. The Bible warns us in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." We pray that God would strengthen you to resist temptation and fill your mind with things that are pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). Confess this sin to the Lord, for He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). You are not defined by your struggles—you are defined by the blood of Jesus, which has set you free.

We pray for the African American community, asking that God would raise up faithful teachers and preachers who proclaim the truth of His Word without compromise. May the Holy Spirit open eyes to see the deception of false teachings and turn hearts toward the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the power of God for salvation (Romans 1:16).

For your family’s health, we pray for complete healing from the flu and protection for those caring for you. May the Lord rebuke this sickness and restore strength to your father and to each of you. Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us, "Praise the Lord, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We also lift up your cats, asking that God would bring healing to the one scratching himself and comfort to the one who was making strange noises. The Lord cares for all His creation, and we trust Him to provide for their needs, even in ways you may not yet see.

For the important trip your family is preparing for, we pray that God would provide the remaining funds needed and make a way where there seems to be no way. May He grant you peace about the driving and the journey ahead, knowing that He goes before you and will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:8). We declare that this trip will be a time of blessing, refreshment, and joy for your family.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your love, Your mercy, and Your faithfulness. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would break every chain of spiritual warfare that has tormented them since childhood. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression and command them to flee in Jesus’ name. We ask that You would fill their mind with Your peace, their heart with Your joy, and their spirit with Your strength.

Father, we pray for an end to the disturbing dreams and for restful, peaceful sleep. Surround them with Your angels and let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High, under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1). We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper and that every assignment of the enemy will be thwarted.

Lord, we ask that You would lead their family to a new church where Your Word is preached in truth and where they can grow in faith and fellowship. Provide for their financial needs, including the work-from-home opportunity and the funds for their upcoming trip. Open doors that no man can shut and close doors that are not Your will.

Father, we specifically lift up the struggle with sexual temptation and maladaptive daydreaming. We ask that You would break the power of these sins in their life and fill their mind with thoughts that honor You. Strengthen them to resist temptation and remind them of Your grace and forgiveness when they fall. Help them to flee from sexual immorality and to honor You with their body, which is Your temple.

We pray for healing for their family from the flu and for protection for those caring for them. Heal their cats and provide for their needs, even as You provide for all creation. Lord, we trust You to meet every need according to Your riches in glory.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would draw our brother/sister closer to You during this time. Let them know Your presence, Your peace, and Your love. Remind them that they are not alone—You are with them always. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
