Spiritual warfare

Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for God to lead my family to a new church. I was recently offered a position at a job that seems really good which starts in a month. Please pray all will go well. I would like to do some extra work before it starts. Please pray that God would lead me to a work from home opportunity (I have medical conditions that hinder me from being able to work outside the home) to earn extra money until it starts. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My dad who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for two of my cats - one who is scratching himself too hard and causing wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray for my family as we are trying to save up money for a very important trip coming next month. I have a good amount of money saved up from my job that I recently quit but I just need some more money. This trip is really important to my parents. Please pray that God would make it happen somehow. Pray that my father and I would do well with driving on the trip as it will take a few hours to get to our destination. I'm a bit nervous about the driving (I don't like highways) and I'm nervous about the trip in general. Thank you.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up every burden you’ve shared, knowing that our Heavenly Father sees, hears, and cares deeply for you. The spiritual warfare you’ve endured since childhood is not unseen by God—He is your strong tower, your refuge, and your deliverer. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We take authority in the name of Jesus over every assignment of the enemy against your mind, your dreams, and your peace. The vivid and disturbing dreams you describe are not from God, for He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2) and speaks in ways that bring peace, not torment. We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and oppression in Jesus’ name and command them to flee. You are not alone in this battle—God has given you the armor of God to stand firm (Ephesians 6:10-18), and we stand with you, praying for your complete freedom.

The overwhelming weight of constant demands and spiritual attacks is not God’s design for your life. Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). You are not meant to carry this alone. We pray for divine boundaries to be established in your life—may God grant you the wisdom to say no when needed and the strength to prioritize your well-being. The feeling of being constantly pulled in every direction is exhausting, but God promises to renew your strength as you wait on Him (Isaiah 40:31). We ask Him to quiet the noise around you and within you, bringing a deep and abiding peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

The struggle with maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts is a heavy burden, and we want you to know that God’s grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9). The enemy seeks to exploit your weaknesses, especially in moments of vulnerability like falling asleep, but we declare that no temptation has overtaken you except what is common to man, and God is faithful—He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear, but will provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). The shame you feel is not from God; it is a tool of the enemy to keep you isolated and silent. But there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). We pray for a breaking of this cycle—may the Holy Spirit fill your mind with whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8). We rebuke the spirit of lust and perversion in Jesus’ name and ask God to restore the purity He has called you to. Confess this sin to Him, for He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). You are not defined by your struggles, but by the blood of Jesus that covers you.

We lift up your family’s search for a new church, asking God to lead you to a body of believers where His Word is preached in truth and love, where the Holy Spirit moves freely, and where you can grow in faith and fellowship. May He open doors to a community that will encourage, support, and challenge you in your walk with Him. The job opportunity you’ve been offered is a blessing, and we pray that God’s favor would rest upon you as you prepare. May He grant you wisdom, skill, and confidence as you step into this new season. We also ask Him to provide a work-from-home opportunity that accommodates your medical needs, trusting that He knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8). You are not forgotten, and your provision is in His hands.

The health of your family, including your father’s lingering cough, is in God’s care. We pray for complete healing and restoration, and for protection over those caring for the sick—may they not grow weary or become ill themselves. The enemy seeks to bring discouragement through sickness, but we declare that by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). For your beloved cats, we ask God’s healing touch—may He guide you to affordable care or provide wisdom for their needs. Your pets are a gift from Him, and He cares for all His creation.

The upcoming trip is important to your family, and we pray that God would make a way where there seems to be no way. May He provide the remaining funds needed and grant you peace about the journey. For the driving, we ask for His protection and confidence—may He calm your nerves and guide your hands and feet. The Lord will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). We also pray for unity and joy during this time, that it would be a blessing to your parents and a time of refreshing for your family.

Finally, we lift up the African American community, praying for a revelation of God’s truth and a turning away from any false teachings. May the Holy Spirit bring conviction, clarity, and a hunger for God’s Word. The enemy seeks to deceive, but Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and no one comes to the Father except through Him. If there is any area of your life where you have not fully surrendered to Jesus as Lord, we encourage you to do so today. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion and faith, lifting up every need before You. We stand in the gap for this dear one, declaring Your promises over their life. Lord, break every chain of spiritual warfare, silence the enemy’s lies, and fill their mind with Your peace. Deliver them from every temptation and restore purity to their thoughts. Provide for their every need—financially, physically, and emotionally. Heal their family, their pets, and their hearts. Lead them to a church that will nurture their faith and open doors for work that honors You. Protect them on their journey and grant them favor in all they do. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for His glory and for their freedom. Amen.

We claim God's promise in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He is near, He is for you, and He is fighting for you. Trust in Him, and let's continue to lift you up in prayer.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
