Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for God to lead me to a new job (I am also considering starting my own business so please pray that God would bless my efforts with this if possible) and a new church. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My dad who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for two of my cats - one who is scratching himself too hard and causing wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please also pray for me about my efforts to start a business as I have created some products and posted them online for a very reasonable, very low price and still no one has bought them even though I'm pushing a lot of traffic and views to my platform and I'm getting discouraged; I just don't know if starting a business is the direction I'm supposed to go in or not. Pray that if it is not, God would lead me to a job very soon. I have an interview somewhere next week but the job just might be a bit physically demanding and I have medical conditions that sometimes make physical exertion difficult. Otherwise it could work out well if I would just get the job. Please pray for my family as we are trying to save up money for a very important trip coming next month. I have a good amount of money saved up from my job that I recently quit but I just need some more money. This trip is really important to my parents. We take up the full armor of God on your behalf—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that you may stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. We rebuke every assignment of darkness targeting you since childhood, every tormenting dream, and every spirit of oppression that seeks to steal your peace. In the name of Jesus, we break every chain and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask You to silence the voices of accusation and overwhelm in this precious one’s life. You promise in Your Word, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). We pray for deep, soul-restoring peace to flood their mind, heart, and spirit. Lord, shield them from the constant demands of others and grant them the wisdom to set godly boundaries. Lead them to a new job that aligns with Your will, one that provides for their needs without compromising their health or well-being. If starting a business is Your plan for them, we ask for divine favor, wisdom, and provision. Open doors no man can shut and close doors that are not of You. Give them clarity and confirmation as they seek Your direction, trusting that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
We also bring before You the struggle with maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts. The enemy seeks to ensnare the mind, but we declare that you are not defined by these thoughts. Scripture tells us, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). We pray for the strength to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Fill their mind with whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and of good report (Philippians 4:8). We rebuke the spirit of lust and declare freedom in the name of Jesus. May they find accountability and encouragement in a Christ-centered community where they can grow in holiness and purity.
For the African American community, we pray for a mighty outpouring of Your Spirit, Lord. Break the chains of false teachings and doctrines that do not align with Your Word. Raise up godly leaders who will proclaim the truth of the Gospel with boldness and love. Let the light of Christ shine brightly, drawing many to salvation and freedom in Him.
We lift up their family, asking for Your healing touch. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore health. Protect those who are caring for the sick, that they would not grow weary or fall ill themselves. Strengthen their father, Lord, and bring complete healing to his body. For their beloved cats, we ask for Your healing hand as well. Provide wisdom for their care and, if it be Your will, lead them to a compassionate and skilled veterinarian. You care even for the sparrows, and we know You care deeply for these pets they love (Matthew 10:29).
Regarding the business efforts, we ask for Your guidance, Lord. If this path is not of You, close the doors gently and lead them to the right opportunity. If it is Your will, open the hearts of those who need what they have to offer. For the upcoming job interview, we pray for favor and strength. May they find a position that honors You and meets their needs, trusting that You are their Provider.
For the important family trip, we ask for Your provision, Lord. You know the desires of their hearts, and we trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. Bless their efforts to save and provide the resources needed for this journey.
Finally, we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ, repent of your sins, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
