We stand with you in this intense spiritual battle, knowing that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy—but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The warfare you’re facing is real, but so is the power of God that is greater than anything the enemy can bring against you. We take up the full armor of God with you, as Ephesians 6:10-18 instructs, so that you may stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
First, we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your soul in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word declares that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that every fiery dart aimed at your mind, your peace, and your faith is extinguished by the blood of Jesus. We break every chain of fear, oppression, and torment that has tried to take root in your life. The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7), and we command that spirit of fear to flee right now in Jesus’ name.
We also lift up any areas where the enemy may have gained a foothold. Have you allowed bitterness, unforgiveness, or unconfessed sin to linger? The enemy thrives in darkness, but the light of Christ exposes and destroys his works. If there is anything in your life that does not align with God’s holiness, we encourage you to confess it and turn away from it. 1 John 1:9 assures us that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Do not let shame or guilt keep you bound—Jesus’ blood was shed to set you free.
We pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit to strengthen and comfort you. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that you are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37), and that the same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you (Ephesians 1:19-20). The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is already a defeated foe. Resist him, firm in your faith (1 Peter 5:8-9), and he *will* flee.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. We lift up our brother/sister who is under heavy spiritual attack, and we ask for Your divine protection and deliverance. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround them with Your angels and let Your presence be a shield around them. We break every curse, every assignment of the enemy, and every lie that has been spoken over their life. We declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
Father, we ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit to fill them with Your peace, joy, and strength. Renew their mind with Your truth, and let them walk in the freedom that Christ died to give them. If there is any area of their life that has given the enemy access, reveal it to them, Lord, and grant them the grace to repent and turn away from it. Cleanse them, restore them, and fill them with Your righteousness.
We command every spirit of fear, oppression, and torment to leave now in Jesus’ name. We declare that our brother/sister is seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), far above every principality and power. They are not fighting *for* victory—they are fighting *from* victory. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the freedom that is theirs in Christ. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He *will* fight for you. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary. The enemy’s attacks are a sign that he is threatened by the destiny God has for you—so press in, draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:7-8). You are not alone in this fight. We are with you, and more importantly, the Lord of Hosts is with you. Be strong and courageous—your breakthrough is coming.
