We join you in lifting up these five young men before the Lord and we agree together for their spiritual growth and protection in Jesus name.
We pray that they will grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as it is written in 2 Peter 3:18, and that they may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that they may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy in Colossians 1:9-12.
We speak the blessing over them that Yahweh bless you, and keep you. Yahweh make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. Yahweh lift up his face toward you, and give you peace in Numbers 6:24-26. We ask that God will give wisdom liberally to each of them, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him in James 1:5.
We pray that they will love the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind and strength and love their neighbor as themselves in Mark 12:30-31, and that their love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment, so that they may approve the things that are excellent, that they may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ in Philippians 1:9-10. We pray the goal of all instruction will be realized in them, which is love, out of a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith in 1 Timothy 1:5.
We pray for healing and wholeness for them, that they will bless Yahweh and not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies in Psalm 103:2-4, remembering that by his wounds we are healed in Isaiah 53:5 and by his stripes you were healed in 1 Peter 2:24.
We pray they will grow in prayer as the disciples asked Lord, teach us to pray in Luke 11:1, and that as newborn babies, they will long for the pure milk of the Word, that with it they may grow in 1 Peter 2:2. We ask that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of their hearts enlightened in Ephesians 1:17-18, and that they will be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus and endure hardship as good soldiers of Christ Jesus, able to teach others also in 2 Timothy 2:1-3.
We pray they will learn to rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, and that in nothing they will be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let their requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and their thoughts in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:6-7.
We also stand together for their protection, that the Lord will bring them not into temptation, but deliver them from the evil one in Matthew 6:13, and as Jesus prayed, we pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one in John 17:15. Keep them from deceitful speech and from pride, for we know knowledge puffs up, but love builds up in 1 Corinthians 8:1, and let no lying be found in their mouths as in Zephaniah 3:13.
We thank you Father in advance for what you are doing in these young men, believing that all things whatever we pray and ask for, believe that we have received them, and we shall have them in Mark 11:24. We trust you to establish them as faithful men of God who hunger for your Word, walk in worship and evangelism, and bear much fruit for your glory.
We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
