We join you in thanking God for these younger male believers and we lift up the young man you mentioned and the three other young men together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, asking for their spiritual growth and protection.
We are encouraged by your heart for discipleship and for seeing these men rooted and built up in Christ. It is God's will that they grow in grace and knowledge and become faithful men who can teach others also, as it is written 2 Tim 2:2, The things which you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit the same to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also. We pray that each of them will be that kind of faithful man, established in the Word, fervent in prayer, joyful in worship, and bold in evangelism.
We pray together for them. Father in heaven, we thank You for saving these young men by Your grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We ask You to cause them to grow as newborn babies desire the pure milk of the Word, that they may grow thereby, according to 1 Pet 2:2. Give them wisdom liberally as You have promised in James 1:5, that if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Heal them where they are wounded in body, mind, or spirit, for You are the Lord who heals. Bless them and cause them to walk in the fear of the Lord which is the beginning of wisdom, Prov 9:10.
We ask that You teach them to pray and to abide in Your Word daily. We pray they will learn to keep their way pure by living according to Your word, Psalm 119:9, and that they will flee youthful lusts and follow after righteousness, faith, love, and peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart, 2 Tim 2:22. Make them worshipers in spirit and truth, John 4:23, and give them a burden for the lost, to share the gospel with boldness, for we are not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, Rom 1:16.
We also join you in praying for their protection from temptation, sin, and the evil one. We ask You to not bring them into temptation, but deliver them from the evil one, Matt 6:13, and we echo the prayer of Jesus who said John 17:15, I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one. Clothe them with the whole armor of God, that they may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, Eph 6:11.
We thank You in advance by faith, believing Your promise in Mark 11:24, Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them. We trust that as we ask in the name of Jesus, You hear us, for there is no other name by which we have access to You and by which we are saved, Acts 4:12.
We encourage you to continue to invest in these men, modeling prayer, opening the Scriptures with them, worshiping together, and going out to share Christ together. Urge them to be examples in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity, 1 Tim 4:12, and to seek godly marriage in the Lord if they pursue relationships, fleeing all fornication and impurity, for our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, 1 Cor 6:18-20. As they remain faithful in small things, God will make them fruitful to multiply disciples for His glory.
We give thanks for your faithful intercession and we stand with you believing God will do abundantly more than we ask, and will keep these young men and cause them to grow strong in the Lord. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
