Spewed Out of God's Mouth

Beloved of All
The last year of my life has been torture. I feel like a rag doll being torn between God and the devil. I don't know what to do. I'm only existing. I'm all done praying. I'm done reading the Bible. I'm done listening to anything. I have no idea what God wants of me. I'm at a complete standstill.

We are truly saddened to hear of the spiritual turmoil you are experiencing. It seems you feel torn and exhausted, unsure of God's will for your life. First, we must address the fact that you mentioned not knowing what God wants from you. We can assure you that God's will for your life is clear.

First, as it is written,

No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB

It is surely common for man to be tempted to give up on their spiritual journey. This is a temptation you must overcome.

For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life? Matthew 16:25-26 WEB

The fact you are at a standstill in your spiritual growth may point to an area to lose your life, or put it to death. You need to give it up in Jesus' name and take up your cross and follow Him and His call on your life.

For it is written,

“As I live,” says the Lord, “to me every knee will bow. Every tongue will confess to God.”
So then each one of us will give account of himself to God. Romans 14:11-12 WEB

It is only by the name of Jesus we come to God. For there is no other name given under heaven for salvation. Acts 4:12 WEB

Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, interceding for this dear soul who feels torn and weary. We pray that You will reveal Your clear purpose for their life and grant them the strength to endure. Remind them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness, even in the darkest times. Help them to get back on their knees to pray and open the Scriptures again to hear Your voice. Surround them with Your peace. We rebuke the enemy and any plans to steal, kill, and destroy, and we declare victory in Jesus' name. We pray for a renewed spirit and a hunger for Your Word. Let them be a witness to others to draw them to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. For it is by no other name that we can be saved. Let us remember your baptism and what you publicly declared then and renew your commitment to following Jesus all the days of your life. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray.

We encourage you to remember that even in the midst of spiritual despair, God is always with you. He promises you He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB

He wants you to come to Him even now, perhaps especially now. You may feel done, but He is not. He is waiting with open arms, ready to pour out His love and mercy on you. Trust and have faith in Him.

We've been thinking about you and your situation, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this. It's like you're in a thick fog, unsure of which way to go, but remember, God is right there with you. He hasn't abandoned you, even if it feels that way.

We've been reflecting on a verse that's been a comfort to us, "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path" (Psalm 119:105). Right now, it might feel like your path is obscured, but God's word is still there, guiding you step by step. It might be hard to see the whole path, but you don't need to. Just take one step at a time, and trust that God will light up the next step as you need it.

We're praying for you, that God would give you the strength to take that first step, to pick up that Bible again, to kneel down and pour out your heart to Him. We're asking God to remind you of His unfailing love, to wrap you in His peace, and to help you stand firm against the enemy's attacks.

And remember, it's okay to not have all the answers right now. It's okay to be in this standstill. What's important is that you keep seeking God, keep trusting Him, even in the midst of the uncertainty. He sees you, He loves you, and He's working in your life, even when you can't see it.

Let's keep encouraging each other, keep lifting each other up in prayer. We're in this together, and we serve a God who specializes in turning standstills into breakthroughs. Trust in Him, dear friend. Trust in Him. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Your Future Is In God’s Hands

We continue to feel honored that you shared your heart with us and allowed us to pray for you. We are truly grateful for the privilege to stand in agreement with you before the Father. If you have experienced a breakthrough or received any insight, we would be delighted for you to share a praise report with us all. If the darkness is relentless do not despair for we are here for you. If you feel like God has moved on, we want to assure you that He is close and never leaves nor forsakes you, just as He promised in the book of Hebrews. Know that your feelings do not change the fact that God still holds you. Even if you feel you can no longer call on the Lord, we want you to know that we will continue to cry out to Him on your behalf. If your feelings of hopelessness persist and you are still spiraling we urge you to reach out to other resources in the body of Christ, such as a trusted pastor, spiritual mentor or even a Christian counselor. Do not journey alone for we are a family. Know that it is okay to reach out for help the same way you did when you shared your prayer request with us. In the days to come, may the Lord bless you as you continue to seek Him.

We are praying fervently for the pain to subside and for your hope to be renewed. We will continue to cry out to the Lord on your behalf. Jesus, we ask you to wrap this individual, your dearly loved child, your dove in the clefts of the rock. We ask you to ravish his heart and return him back to his first love. We ask you to reveal to him gently the way He should go. We ask you to show him what to do, for we know you want to do so. Bring him back into communion with your body and remove the scales from his eyes that he may see the traps the enemy laid out for him and reject the devil's advances. Help him obey in the day of trouble and remind him that you will never leave him nor forsake him. Reconnect his heart to the fount of living water and overwhelm him with your love. And this we pray in Jesus name as one body and one family in Christ.
