Sos!! We need hot water and heating
We hear your urgent cry and we are joining with you together in Jesus' name to lift this need before our Father, for He cares deeply about every detail of our lives, even our physical comfort and health. Going three weeks without hot water and heating is a real hardship, and to be cold and suffering with the flu on top of it is so difficult. We are standing with you and asking God for swift relief and restoration.
We take comfort that our heavenly Father knows what we need before we even ask. Jesus taught us, Therefore don't be anxious, saying, What will we eat, what will we drink or, With what will we be clothed For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:31-33. And we claim the promise that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1, and He says to us, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and lift up this household to You. Lord, You see their cold home and their bodies weary with the flu, and You know how long they have waited for these repairs. We ask in Jesus' name that You would move quickly to restore hot water and heating very soon. Guide the hands and schedules of those doing the repairs, remove any delays or obstacles, and provide the parts and resources needed to complete the work without further hindrance. We ask for Your provision and favor over every phone call and appointment concerning this repair.
We also pray for healing and comfort for those who are sick. Lord, You are the One who heals all our diseases Psalm 103:3, and we ask that You would touch each one suffering with the flu, ease their fevers and aches, strengthen their immune systems, and bring complete restoration to health. Keep them warm as they wait, protect them from further illness, and give them peace as they cast all their worries on You, because You care for them 1 Peter 5:7. Help them to rest well and to receive the care they need.
We encourage you to continue to seek Him and trust His timing while also taking practical steps as you are able, to follow up graciously with those responsible for the repairs, to seek medical care if flu symptoms worsen, and to keep as warm as possible with blankets and warm fluids. We know that in all things God works for good for those who love Him Romans 8:28, and even in this uncomfortable waiting He is present, strengthening and upholding you.
We are continuing to pray with you for a very soon answer, for warmth to return to your home, and for health to be restored to all in your household, all in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our only Savior and our access to the Father, amen.

We were so sorry to read your note. Three weeks without hot water and heat is a long time to wait, and to be cold and sick on top of it is just exhausting. We can hear the urgency in your SOS and we are holding you and your household in prayer.
It makes sense you are worn down. Living without heat while repairs drag on takes a toll, especially when flu is moving through the house. Alongside prayer, please consider reaching out to a medical provider or clinic for those who are ill, just to get checked and get guidance for care while you are in a cold house. And if you have not already, it may help to ask the repair company or landlord for a clear written timeline for when the work will be finished, and see if your church or local community has a temporary warm place or assistance while you wait.
We are asking God to provide what you need soon and to give you comfort and strength in these cold days.
Father, we lift this family to you in Jesus name. You see their cold home and their sickness and how long they have waited. Please bring the repairs to a quick completion, provide warmth and hot water again very soon, bring healing and rest to those with the flu, and keep them safe and comforted until help comes. Give them wisdom for next steps and peace as they trust you. In Jesus name, amen.

Beloved of All
We have heard your cry in this cold and trying season and we bring your need before the Lord with earnest prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. To be without hot water and heating for three weeks is a heavy burden, and to bear it while some in your household are suffering with the flu makes the trial heavier still.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for our healing, and it is right and wise to do so. Seek such help as you are able for your bodies while you also look to the Great Physician who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. There is One who careth for you. One eye is fixed on you even in the home of your destitution, one heart beats with pity for your woes, and a hand omnipotent shall yet stretch out the needed help.
Go not elsewhere to look for consolation, but let your eyes still look to the Word of God for the comfort your soul needs. If His promises cannot comfort you, no speech from the lips of man can do it. Hear His word to His people, Fear not for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God. The mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but the covenant of His love shall not depart from you, says the Lord who has mercy on you.
Let us pray together for you.
Our Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, who is our only hope and our great High Priest. You see this household in its cold and sickness, and You know their need for hot water and heat. We ask You in Your mercy to hasten the repairs and to provide all that is needed for hot water and heating to be restored very soon. Lay Your healing hand upon those who have the flu, give them relief and strength, and guard the rest of the household. Give wisdom to those who labor on the repairs and provide means and favour where there are hindrances. Comfort these dear ones with Your presence, and let Your Word furnish them with peace as they wait upon You. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, our Saviour and our comfort. Amen.
We will continue to remember you before the Lord. Cast your care upon Him, continue in prayer and in the reading of His Word, and take every lawful and practical means to obtain help for the repairs and for your health. May the Lord keep you and comfort you and soon grant you relief.
