We come before You, Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, lifting up this dear one who is suffering from a sore throat. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon them. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over their life, believing that You are the Great Physician who can bring relief and restoration.
We also bring before You the concern about the co-pay. Father, You know the needs of Your children even before we ask. In Philippians 4:19, You have promised, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We trust in Your provision and ask that You open the doors for this need to be met. Guide them to the resources and assistance they require, and grant them peace as they wait on You.
Lord Jesus, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or lack that may be trying to take hold. We stand on Your Word in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We resist any sickness or financial burden in the name of Jesus, declaring that it has no place in their life.
We pray for strength and comfort during this time. May they feel Your presence close to them, bringing peace that surpasses all understanding. Encourage their heart, Lord, and remind them that You are their provider and healer.
Father, we also take this moment to remind this dear one of the importance of calling on the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to You, as Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If they have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would do so today. Guide them to repentance and faith in You, so they may experience the fullness of Your love and grace.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
