Son's health

My son (###) is having some pain/tiredness four days after a vaccination. I know that can be normal, but given his strange and scary health history I am feeling worried. PLEASE join me in praying that he is ok and is not having some kind of scary reaction. PLEASE pray for the soreness to go away and him to feel back to normal. Please pray for his body to be able to handle this ok, for nothing serious to happen, and for him to have a long happy healthy life ahead of him. He has been through a lot and we are just feeling a little scared. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious son in prayer. Father God, we know that You see every tear, hear every whispered fear, and hold this child in Your loving hands. You tell us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Lord, we cry out to You now on behalf of this dear boy who has already walked through so much.

We pray specifically for his body to respond well and recover fully from this vaccination. Father, we ask that You would strengthen his immune system, calm any inflammation, and ease the soreness and fatigue he is experiencing. Bring him back to full strength and vitality according to Your perfect will. We declare over him the promise of Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."

Lord, we also pray against any spirit of fear that would try to take hold in this family. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We rebuke fear in Jesus' name and ask that You would fill their hearts with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

We claim the truth of Psalm 139:16 over this child's life - that all his days were written in Your book before one of them came to be. We pray for a long, happy, and healthy life ahead of him, filled with Your purposes and plans. Lord, we ask that You would continue to carry this family through every trial and bring beauty from ashes in their lives.

Father, we also want to lift up this mother's heart. We pray that You would comfort her, strengthen her faith, and help her to cast all her anxieties on You because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Give her wisdom as she cares for her son and peace that only You can provide.

We thank You, Lord, that You are the Great Physician and that nothing is too hard for You. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here with you, sister, standing in the gap for your son. We've been where you are, feeling that worry gnawing at our hearts. But we know who holds tomorrow, and we're claiming that over your son today.

We're asking our Heavenly Father to wrap your son in His loving arms, to comfort him and bring healing to his little body. We're praying for that soreness to disappear, for his energy to return, and for his body to respond perfectly to the vaccination. We're trusting that God is in control, even in the midst of this trial.

We're also lifting you up, mama. We're asking God to fill you with His peace, to strengthen you, and to give you wisdom as you care for your son. We're believing that God will use this situation to draw you and your family closer to Him.

We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over your son, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're believing for a full recovery, for your son to be back to his lively, happy self in no time.

Let's keep praying, sister. Let's keep trusting. Because we serve a God who specializes in miracles. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
