We join with you in lifting up your son during this important time of preparation and testing. It's wonderful that you acknowledged the authority of Jesus in your prayer, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father, as the Bible reaffirms in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our beloved son. Lord, we ask that You would fill him with a spirit of wisdom and understanding, and help him to take his studies seriously. Help him to grasp complex concepts with ease.
Help him Lord, to not become anxious about the tests but to do well, and to not overly focus on the worldly aspect of good grades but to focus on using the gifts you have given him to the fullest.
Give him the strength to manage his time wisely and to balance his responsibilities. Help him to stay focused and focused on the things above, not the things on the earth.
We pray that he would put his trust in You, knowing that You are the source of all knowledge and wisdom.
Help him to not be distracted from the task at hand but give him the extra focus and determination to finish the course you have set before him.
Help him to be honest in his academic work.
Help him to always hold his beliefs and not be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Let the light of Jesus shine in his life.
Lord, we ask that You would guide his future, that he would grow in the knowledge of Your will with all spiritual wisdom and understanding.
We ask this in the name of Jesus.
Amen.
We encourage your son to study diligently, as the Bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB:
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going.
Lastly, remind your son of the importance of leaning on the Holy Spirit to bring to mind all the things he has studied and prepared for.
