We join with you in lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father, knowing that He cares deeply for our children and their well-being. It is wonderful to see your faith in bringing this request before the Lord, for He invites us to cast all our cares upon Him. As we pray for your son’s success today, let us also remember the importance of seeking God’s will in all things, including his education and character.
The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 22:6, *“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”* This is a promise that when we raise our children in godly wisdom, they will walk in truth. We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:14, *“Let the little children come to me, and don’t hinder them; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.”* Your son is precious in God’s sight, and we trust that the Lord will guide him, not just in his studies but in his heart and actions.
However, we must gently address something important in your prayer. While it is good to pray directly to Jesus, we notice that you included a “+” symbol between “Son” and “Jesus,” which could be misleading or confusing. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
