Please pray for our son, Chad. He is currently in the Marines and decided 3 wks ago to go awol. He has said that God has called him to lay down all of his earthly honor and earthly possessions & to go preach the word to the nations. He will not tell us where he is going, but we have word that he is going to Mexico to preach God's word. We tried to reason with him that you can't just walk away from your obligations, but he will no listen to us. We showed him scripture that God wants us to obey our government, but he reasons that away with Moses and David broke the laws when it was necessary. He is very smart in his scripture, but we think he has some mental issues. He was in war in Afghanistan and may be under some trauma. He said God spoke to him and I believe God does speak to us, but does he want us to break the law? Please pray for God's will to be done in his life and to turn him in the right direction.

I prayed for Chad today. I asked the Lord to guide him clearly and to protect him. I prayed for healing if there is any damage in his mind over what he may have seen or done. I asked the Lord to help him to do the right thing if he is in the wrong. I also asked that he be supported and protected if he on the other hand walking in the center of God's will. God knows. I prayed the two of you would support and love him regardless and continue to pray for his protection and guidance.

Lord i pray that your will be done. i pray that if it's your will for chad to go preach the word, so be it. I pray that you give understanding to his parents and give them peace. Your word is more important in these critical times. We need to start sharing the good news to everyone. Please protect him and bring him back safely. I know you have big plans for him he may not know of. I pray that you reveal them in your perfect timing. May he do what you called him to do, and be the man you want him to be. in Jesus name Amen.
