Heavenly Father, I pray Your hedge of protection around my son ###, deliver him from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light. Surround him with Your angels and fill him with Your peace and strength, in Jesus name Amen

We join you in lifting up your precious son before the throne of grace and we stand in agreement with you for his complete protection and deliverance.

We love your heart to pray a hedge of protection around him, for the Lord is our refuge and fortress. We are reminded of Job 1:10 where you have placed a hedge around your faithful ones, and we claim that covering over your son now. We pray that the Lord will deliver him from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, for we know our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places as written in Ephesians 6:12.

We pray that every hidden deed of darkness would be exposed and brought into the light, for it is written in Ephesians 5:11 to have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them, and in Luke 8:17 that nothing is hidden that will not be revealed. We ask the Father to shine His light into every dark place and to make truth known and to bring justice and safety for your son.

We thank God that He has promised to command His angels concerning His children. As it says in Psalm 91:11, For he will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways, and in Psalm 34:7, The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. We ask the Lord to surround your son with His holy angels and to keep him in all his ways.

We also pray that the Lord will fill your son with His perfect peace and strength. We claim Philippians 4:7 over him, that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and his thoughts in Christ Jesus, and Isaiah 41:10 that he will not be afraid for God is with him and will strengthen him. We pray in agreement with 2 Thessalonians 3:3 that the Lord who is faithful will establish him and guard him from the evil one, and with Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon that is formed against him will prevail.

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus we lift this young man to You. We place him under Your wings and ask for Your hedge of protection to be around him day and night. Deliver him completely from every abusive hand and every harmful influence. Heal any wounds in his heart, mind, and spirit and restore what has been broken. Expose every evil work and bring it to light so that it can no longer harm him. Surround him with Your angels, let him feel Your presence, and fill him with Your peace that passes understanding and with courage and strength for each day. Give his mother wisdom, discernment, and peace as she continues to intercede for him, and let Your perfect will be done in his life. We thank You that You hear our prayers and that You are his defender and deliverer. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Carrying concern about abuse, whether you have seen it clearly or are sensing something is not right, is a heavy burden for a parent. It is good you are bringing it to God so directly and asking for light and protection around your son. He is seen and valued by the Lord, and so are you as you watch over him.

As you keep praying, it can help to take a couple of steady next steps alongside prayer. Keep gentle, open conversation with ### so he knows he has a safe place to share what he is experiencing in his own words and timing. And make sure you have trusted support around both of you, a pastor, counselor, or other safe adult who can walk with you, help you think through what you are seeing, and help you get additional help quickly if you believe he may be in danger. If there is any immediate risk of harm, please reach out right away to trusted local help and appropriate protective resources in your area.

You do not have to carry this alone. We are praying with you.

Father, we lift ### to You and ask for Your protection over him in body, mind and spirit. Surround him with Your presence, bring what is hidden into the light, and give him peace and strength for each day. Give his parent wisdom, discernment and steady support as they care for him. Lead them to the right help and keep them close to You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for your son has been heard and we join you in bringing him before the throne of grace.

What a comfort it is to know that our God is gracious and says, Deliver him from going down to the pit, for I have found a ransom. That ransom is not found in our own strength or merit, but in the bosom of the Father, in His only begotten and well beloved Son who bore the penalty for sinners. When we feel that one we love is pressed down by darkness or cruelty, we may remember that deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and He who gave His Son will surely give all that is needed for protection and peace.

We do not believe that troubles spring out of the dust, but that the Lord Himself sits as a Refiner at the door of the furnace, and even that which comes through the malice or sin of man is under His sovereign hand. He will moderate our fear of second causes, for He is able to command deliverance and to set the captive free. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son, and He is able to keep those who belong to Him.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask Your hedge of protection around this dear son. Deliver him from going down to the pit and from every form of abuse, whether of body, mind or spirit. Expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light, for nothing is hidden from Your sight. Command Your angels to encamp around him and keep him in all his ways. Fill his heart with Your peace which passes understanding and strengthen him with might by Your Spirit in the inner man. Keep him from evil company and from the snares of the adversary, and make him to know that he is Yours, purchased by the precious blood of Christ. Grant to his parent a quiet confidence that You who have found a ransom are gracious still, and that You look down from the height of Your sanctuary to hear the sighing of the needy and to preserve those appointed to trouble. We ask this not by any merit of our own, but only through the ransom found in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.

Be of good cheer and continue to cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you and for your son. He who has begun a good work is faithful to keep that which is committed unto Him, and He will be your strength day by day.

We join you in prayer for your son and bring your request before the Lord with you.

Heavenly Father, we thank You that You love this child even more than his parents do. You sent Your Son to become man that we might become sons of God, and to give His life as a ransom for many. We ask now for Your deliverance from evil and Your supply of every good thing upon this young man.

We pray You would place Your hedge of protection around him. Keep him from all abuse, whether physical, emotional or spiritual. Where there are deeds of darkness, bring them into Your light and expose them, that what is harmful may be stopped and what is wounded may be healed. We ask You to command Your angels to surround him and to guard him in all his ways, and to fill his heart with Your peace that passes understanding and with strength for each day.

We pray also that You would draw him close to Yourself, that he would know he is clothed with Christ and has received the Spirit of adoption, and that he would find his safety and identity as Your child. Give his parents wisdom, discernment and courage to protect him, to speak for him when he cannot speak for himself, and to seek wise and godly help and protection where it is needed.

Help him to live in the protection that comes from walking with You, and help his family to trust not only for deliverance from danger but for grace to stand above fear, knowing that You hold his life in Your hands. Comfort him, strengthen him, and let him know daily that he is seen, loved and kept by You.

We entrust him to Your faithful care and ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
