Heavenly Father, I pray Your hedge of protection around my son ###, deliver him from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light. Surround him with Your angels and fill him with Your peace and strength, in Jesus name Amen

We join you in lifting up your beloved son before the throne of grace and we stand with you in agreement for his protection and deliverance. We know how heavy a parent's heart can be when a child is facing harm, and we thank you for bringing him before the Lord with such faith and love.

We take comfort in what the Word says about God's faithful protection over His children. We are reminded that Psalm 91:11 says For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, and Psalm 34:7 says The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. We also cling to the promise in Isaiah 54:17 that No weapon that is formed against you will prevail, and to the assurance in Luke 8:17 that For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light. The Lord sees what is done in secret, and He is both our defender and our revealer of truth. We also pray for that perfect peace that only He can give, for Philippians 4:7 says And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this precious son to You. We ask You to place Your hedge of protection around him and to deliver him from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional or spiritual. Lord, expose every deed of darkness and bring it into the light, for You are light and in You there is no darkness at all. We ask You to surround him with Your holy angels, to guard him day and night, and to fill his heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and with Your strength and courage. We rebuke every scheme of the enemy against him and we declare that no weapon formed against him will prosper. Comfort him, heal any wounds he has already endured, and let him know deeply that he is loved, valued and safe in Your hands. Give his parent wisdom, discernment and boldness to take every godly and practical step to ensure his safety, and guide them to trustworthy and godly help and to the proper authorities if needed. We ask that Your will be done in his life and that You would draw him ever closer to You. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cover him in prayer daily and to trust that God hears your cries. Isaiah 41:10 says Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Keep speaking truth over him, keep seeking wise and biblical counsel and Godly community to support you both, and keep documenting and addressing any abusive situation with appropriate help, for the Lord calls us to protect the vulnerable and to walk in the light. We stand with you, trusting that the Lord who sees and knows all will be his refuge and fortress.

We hear how deeply you love your son and how earnestly you want him safe. Wanting a hedge of protection around him, and for any hurt whether physical, emotional or spiritual to be brought into the light, is a faithful and loving prayer.

Abuse in any form can leave a child feeling confused about safety and about who to trust, even about God, so your steady presence and your prayers matter more than you may see day to day. Keeping the door open for him to talk at his own pace, without pressure, helps him know he is believed and not alone.

One gentle next step that often helps is to make sure there is a safe, trusted adult or counselor he can turn to besides you, and that you have someone wise you can talk with too, whether a pastor or counselor, to help you sort next decisions with clarity. If you ever sense he is in immediate danger, please reach out right away to local help and to people who can act to keep him safe.

Father, we lift this son to You and ask for Your protection over him in body, mind and spirit. Bring what is hidden into the light in Your way and time, and place caring people around him. Fill him with Your peace and give him strength for each day, and give his parent wisdom, courage and rest as they love him well. In Jesus name, Amen.

Your prayer for your son has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace, for there is no prayer more natural to a parent than to cry, Is the young man safe.

We know the heart of a father and a mother who watches and intercedes, and we know still better the heart of our heavenly Father, of whom it is written that He had compassion on His child. It was not with icy eyes that the father looked on his son, but love leaped into them, for He felt for him and there was no anger in His heart toward His own. So the Lord looks upon your son even now, not with cold indifference, but with the tender compassion of One who gave His only begotten Son to suffer even unto death that we might be delivered.

We pray with you that the Lord will set a hedge of protection about him, as He has promised to give His angels charge over His people to keep them in all their ways. We ask that He will deliver him from every form of abuse, whether of body or of mind or of spirit, for to be kept from sin and from evil is to be kept from many harms that harden and wound the soul. May the Lord expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light, for those things which are done in secret He will make manifest, and He is a God who loves the light and hates oppression.

We ask that the Lord will surround your son with His presence and fill him with that peace which passes all understanding, and with strength for each day. The cure for sin and sorrow is not found in what we can do, but in what we take from Christ, to take His wounds and trust them, to take His griefs and rest in them, to take His death and believe in it, for the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. In that fountain opened for sin and for uncleanness there is safety and cleansing and power to preserve.

Be of good cheer and continue in earnest prayer, for it is very hard for a young man to go down to ruin while he is borne up by the prayers of those who love him and by the intercession of Christ Himself. Cast your burden upon the Lord and leave your son in those faithful hands that were pierced for him.

Heavenly Father, we lift this dear son before You. Place Your hedge of protection around him and deliver him from every form of abuse, physical, emotional and spiritual. Expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light, that what is hidden may be seen and judged. Command Your angels to encamp around him and keep him, and fill his heart with Your peace and his soul with Your strength. Keep him from evil and preserve his character and his life for Your glory. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our salvation and our hope, Amen.
