Heavenly Father, I pray Your hedge of protection around my son ###, deliver him from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light. Surround him with Your angels and fill him with Your peace and strength, in Jesus name Amen

We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace and we stand with you in asking for the Lord's hedge of protection around him. It is right and good for you to seek the Lord's covering over your child, for He is our refuge and strength. We know that God sees all and that no deed of darkness is hidden from Him, and we take comfort that He is a defender of the vulnerable.

We are reminded of His promise in Psalm 91:11 that He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, and in Psalm 34:7 that the angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. We claim these promises over your son. We also cling to Isaiah 41:10 where the Lord says, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And we pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and his thoughts in Christ Jesus as promised in Philippians 4:7.

We rebuke every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, for such things are evil and contrary to the heart of God who calls us to love and protect children. Jesus said in Matthew 18:6 that whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a huge millstone were hung around his neck and that he were sunk in the depths of the sea. We pray in agreement with Ephesians 5:11 to have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them, and we ask the Lord to expose every hidden deed and bring it into the light so that truth and justice may prevail and your son may be safe.

We pray together now. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this precious son to You. We ask You to place Your hedge of protection around him as You did for Job in Job 1:10, that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. Deliver him, Lord, from every form of abuse and from every scheme of the enemy. Expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light, that what is done in secret may be revealed and stopped. Surround him with Your holy angels, encamp around him and deliver him, fill him with Your perfect peace that casts out all fear, and strengthen him with Your might. Heal any wounds in his heart, body, or spirit, and let him know how deeply he is loved and cherished by You. Give his mother and those who care for him wisdom, discernment, and courage to take every godly and lawful step to protect him, and let Your will be done in his life. We trust You as his ultimate protector and we thank You that You hear our prayer. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cover him in prayer daily and to trust the Lord as his keeper who neither slumbers nor sleeps as told in Psalm 121:3-4. Keep seeking godly counsel and the help of trustworthy authorities to ensure his safety, knowing that the Lord works both through prayer and through those He has placed to protect the innocent. We stand with you in faith that God will be his shield and his strength.

We have been praying with you for your son . The way you are standing in the gap for him, asking for protection over his body, his emotions and his spirit, shows such faithful love. It is painful to feel you cannot shield him yourself from what may be hurting him.

When someone experiences mistreatment in any form, it can leave them feeling powerless and worn down for a long time. That is why your prayers for peace and strength around him matter so much, and why having safe, steady people around him matters too.

One helpful next step, if you have not already taken it, is to make sure you and your son each have a trusted person to talk with openly, whether a pastor, a Christian counselor or another safe support in your community. If you are seeing signs that he is currently unsafe, please do not carry this alone but reach out right away to local trusted help or appropriate protective resources in your area so he can be supported in person. You do not have to figure out every detail before seeking that support.

Father, we lift ### to You now. Surround him with Your presence and keep him safe from harm. Bring what is hidden into the light in Your way and time, and give him peace and strength for each day. Give his parent wisdom, comfort and faithful helpers nearby. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer for your son is a tender and rightful cry to bring before the throne of grace, and we join our hearts with yours in lifting him up to our heavenly Father.

We ask the Lord to set His hedge about him and to keep him in all his ways. He who has promised to give His angels charge over His people is able to surround your son and to preserve him from every form of harm, whether seen or unseen. We pray that every deed of darkness done against him would be exposed and brought into the light, for nothing is hidden from the eyes of Him with whom we have to do, and He will bring truth to light in His own perfect time and way.

Take comfort in this, that deliverance is the work of God alone. As it is written, He is gracious and says, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. The Lord has not only devised the way of deliverance, but He has provided the ransom Himself in His own dear Son, who bore the price to set the captive free. And again it is written, He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. What He has done to deliver our souls from sin and from the adversary, He is able also to do to deliver your son from abuse and oppression and from every assault of the enemy.

We know that troubles do not spring out of the dust, but the Lord Himself sits as a Refiner by the furnace, and even afflictions that come through the malice of men are under His sovereign hand. This truth may moderate our fear and steady our hearts, for that which passes through His hand comes as from a Father, and He will make even the sharpest trial to work for good to those who are His. He will not suffer His child to be tried beyond what is appointed, and He will with the trial make a way to escape.

So we pray that the Lord would fill your son with His own peace which passes all understanding, and with strength for each day. May he know that he is kept not by his own power, but by the power of God, and may he live to declare the works of the Lord. May the Lord comfort you also as you wait upon Him, giving you faith to trust that He hears, that He sees, and that He will act in mercy and righteousness.

We commend your son into the hands of Him who is mighty to save, praying that the Lord would guard his body and mind and spirit, keep him from evil, and cause him to walk in safety under the shadow of His wings, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We join you in lifting your son before the heavenly Father and thank you for entrusting this burden to prayer.

We pray with you that God would place His hedge of protection around him and keep him safe from every form of harm, whether physical, emotional or spiritual. We ask that the Lord would expose every deed of darkness and bring what is hidden into the light, for light overcomes darkness and nothing is hidden from His sight. We ask that He would surround your son with His holy angels, guard his body and mind, and fill his heart with peace and strength that comes only from Christ.

Scripture reminds us that God is our refuge and fortress, and that the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him. Through Jesus Christ we have been given adoption as sons, and we can come with confidence to the Father who knows how to give good gifts to His children and whose care is far greater than our own. Even when we walk through trial, He is able to keep us, to strengthen us to endure, and to deliver us according to His perfect wisdom and love.

We continue to pray that your son would know the nearness of Christ, that he would be comforted and strengthened day by day, and that you would have wisdom and peace as you entrust him to the Lord's keeping. May the Lord grant you both courage, may He bring help and support from those around you, and may His peace guard your hearts in Christ Jesus.

Heavenly Father, we place this son into Your hands. Cover him with Your protection, deliver him from all abuse and oppression, expose what is evil, surround him with Your presence and let Your peace rest upon him. Strengthen him and keep him in Your love, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
