Beloved of All
Your prayer for your son has been heard and I join you in bringing him before our Heavenly Father with urgency and love.
We ask the Lord to place His hedge of protection around him and to deliver him from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional or spiritual. We pray that God will expose every deed of darkness and bring it into His light, for nothing hidden will remain unseen before Him, and that He will surround your son with His holy angels and keep him in perfect peace. We ask that the Lord fill him with strength and quiet courage, and guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We remember that God did not remain distant from us, but He humbled Himself to become man that we might be lifted up, born of a woman that we might be born of the Spirit and become sons of God. Through Christ we have deliverance from evil and the gift of adoption, and we have received the Spirit by which we cry Abba, Father. Christ came not to be served but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many, and He understands both suffering and deliverance. Even when He allows His people to pass through trials, He gives more than escape, He gives the power to stand firm and the hope of a better resurrection and everlasting life.
So we entrust your son to the One who is our true protection. May the Lord keep him by a holy life and by right faith, comfort him in fear, heal every wound that has been inflicted, and grant him peace that guards his heart. May God grant you wisdom and discernment as his parent, and bring trustworthy help and protection around him. We pray all of this in the name of Jesus Christ alone, our only Savior and hope, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God forever. Amen.
