Your prayer for your son has been received and we join you in lifting him before the Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ.
We hear your heart for his protection and your desire that every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, would be stopped and brought into the light. Scripture teaches that God sees what is done in darkness and will expose it, and that He is near to those who call upon Him. We pray with you that the Lord would place His hedge of protection around your son, surround him with His angels, guard his body and his mind, and fill him with peace and strength that comes only from Christ.
We also pray that God would give you wisdom and courage as you seek his good, and that He would provide safe and faithful people around him to protect the injured and to care for those who are vulnerable, for this is work that is pleasing to Him. True protection is found in the Lord Himself, who is the cause and keeper of all things, and who promises that those who trust in Him will find refuge under His wings.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask You to watch over this young man. Keep him from harm, deliver him from every evil intent, and let no weapon formed against him prosper. Bring what has been hidden into the light, stop the hand of the abuser, and bring justice and healing. Surround him with Your presence, send Your angels to encamp around him, and grant him Your peace that passes understanding and strength for each day. Draw him close to Yourself, and make him to know that he is loved and kept by You through Jesus Christ alone, who gave His life as a ransom for many. Help his family to walk in faith and holy living, trusting not in our own strength but in Your unfailing mercy. Amen.
