We join our hearts with yours in fervent prayer for your son, lifting him before our Heavenly Father with deep concern and faith. The world can be a dark and dangerous place, and it is right to plead for God’s hedge of protection around him. We take comfort in the promise of Psalm 91:11-12, which declares, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Father, we ask that You command Your angels to encamp around your son, shielding him from every form of harm, physical, emotional, and spiritual.
We also stand on the truth of Ephesians 5:11, which urges us to "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even expose them." Lord, we pray that any hidden works of darkness targeting your son would be brought into the light. Expose the schemes of the enemy, whether they come through people, circumstances, or spiritual attacks. Let no weapon formed against him prosper, as You have promised in Isaiah 54:17.
We rebuke the spirit of fear that may try to grip his heart or yours, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen him with Your might, so he may stand firm against the enemy’s tactics, knowing that greater is He who is in him than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for your son. May he walk in the light of Your Word, avoiding the snares of the enemy. If he has strayed into any areas of compromise, draw him back with Your lovingkindness. Surround him with godly influences, friends, mentors, and leaders who will encourage him in his faith and hold him accountable.
We declare over him the blessing of Numbers 6:24-26: "May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up his face toward you, and give you peace." Let Your presence go before him, beside him, and within him, guiding every step he takes.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that no plan of the enemy will succeed against him. We trust in Your unfailing love and power to protect, deliver, and sustain him. Amen.
