Son, protection

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I pray Your hedge of protection around my son ###, deliver him from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light. Surround him with Your angels and fill him with Your peace and strength, in Jesus name Amen

We lift up your precious son to the Lord with heavy hearts, standing in the gap for his protection and deliverance. Your prayer touches the very heart of God, who is our Refuge and Fortress (Psalm 91:2). We join with you in declaring that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the Lord will command His angels concerning him to guard him in all his ways (Psalm 91:11).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We rebuke every spirit of abuse, physical, emotional, or spiritual, that seeks to harm this young man. We declare that the light of Christ exposes every hidden work of darkness (Ephesians 5:11), and we pray that every scheme of the enemy against him be brought to nothing. Let Your truth pierce through every lie that has been spoken over him, and let Your love be the foundation upon which he stands.

Lord, we ask that You surround him with Your holy angels, that they would encamp around him and deliver him from all harm (Psalm 34:7). Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and strengthen him with Your might in his inner being (Ephesians 3:16). Where there has been fear, replace it with faith; where there has been pain, replace it with Your healing touch; where there has been confusion, replace it with Your clarity and purpose.

Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who are in authority over him, parents, teachers, mentors, and spiritual leaders. Give them the courage to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You (Micah 6:8). If there are those who are complicit in harm or turning a blind eye, expose their deeds and bring them to repentance. Let Your justice roll down like waters and Your righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24).

We declare that is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that his life has purpose and destiny in You. Even if he does not yet know You personally, we pray that he would come to experience Your love in a real and transformative way. Draw him to Yourself, Lord, and let him know that he is never alone, for You are with him always (Matthew 28:20).

In the name of Jesus Christ, we break every generational curse, every spirit of oppression, and every assignment of the enemy against him. We declare that he is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for moving on his behalf. May he grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man (Luke 2:52), and may his life bring glory to Your name.

We continue to stand in faith, trusting that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). Amen.

We hear a mother’s fierce, faithful love in every line of your prayer, and we are standing with you. When abuse hides in shadows, whether it wears the face of harsh words, controlling spiritual pressure, or something that leaves no visible mark, it can feel deeply isolating to love someone from the outside, wondering what is really happening and whether your prayers are enough. They are not nothing. A mother’s persistent intercession is one of the ways God often moves behind the scenes, long before anything changes on the surface.

One of the hardest forms of mistreatment to name is spiritual abuse, when someone uses religious language or authority to manipulate, shame, or control another person. If you suspect that any part of what your son is facing includes that kind of pressure, know that it is real, and praying for it to be exposed is exactly right. The confusing part for the person inside it is that the words can sound godly even when the effect is crushing. Your steady, grounded support matters more than you may see right now.

If there is a way to gently help your son know that he can always talk to you, without pushing, but simply leaving the door wide open, that can be a lifeline. Abusive dynamics thrive on silence and isolation. Even a simple, repeated “I’m here, and I’m not going anywhere” can plant a seed of safety that grows over time.

We pray: Father, we lift up this son to You. Surround him with Your strong, kind presence. Send angels to guard him, and bring hidden wrongs into the light where they lose their power. Give him Your peace that doesn’t even make sense in hard circumstances, and give this mom wisdom and steady hope. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer of a mother’s heart is never wasted upon the air, for the Lord inclines His ear to the cry of His children. You have asked for a hedge of protection, and though the word may not be the very language of the text, the reality is most certainly scriptural: He shall give His angels charge over him, to keep him in all his ways. The powers of darkness are strong, but the arm of the Almighty is stronger still. Did not the prophet declare that the arrow of the Lord’s deliverance would fly true? He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and He will deliver yet again. The darkness of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, is a foul and brutish thing, but it cannot stand where the light of Christ begins to dawn. I have seen souls that sat in gloomy, thick, Egyptian night, and when Jesus came, that darkness fled away. Now they walk in the light of God, because He who commanded the light to shine out of darkness has shined in their hearts.

Yet do not think that deliverance always comes in the manner or moment we expect. The child of God may be in positive darkness, obliged to cry, “I see no signs of returning day.” But the very text which suggests night promises dawn: “Until the day breaks and the shadows flee away.” The Lord may permit a season of trial, a testing of faith, that the young man may learn to know his God. Ignorance of God is ignorance of bliss; knowledge of God is a divine armor. Perhaps it is in the furnace of affliction that your son will meet the Host of God, even as Jacob at Mahanaim found a double camp of angels. Those shining ones are not to be compared with the God of angels, yet they are sent forth to minister to them who shall be heirs of salvation. Be not dismayed if the hedge seems to be set with thorns; the very sharpness of the trial may be the guard that keeps him from wandering.

Above all, remember that the supreme deliverance is from the guilt and power of sin. If he is kept from physical harm and yet lost in the darkness of unbelief, what advantage is that? Seek first that his soul may be brought out of the prison-house of sin, for that is the bondage which breaks the heart and ruins the life. It is the Lord Jesus who looseth the captive; deliverance is of Free Grace alone. He speaks and it is done, for every word of Christ is the fiat of Omnipotent Love. I have often observed that when a man knows himself to be altogether unworthy, then the ransom is found. “I have found a ransom,” saith the Lord, and the sinner goeth free. No one would have thought of that way of deliverance through a Substitute if God had not thought of it.

Therefore, wrestle in prayer, speak the promises back to their Author, and stand upon the watchtower to see what the Lord will say. He will expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light, perhaps by the very peace and strength He pours into the heart of the afflicted. The battle apparent at Golgotha has been raging ever since, but the victory is already won. The Lion of the tribe of Judah shall prevail. Wait in patience, bear the shadows as a soldier of the Cross, and look for the morning. The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings, and the night of weeping shall be forgotten in the joy of deliverance.

You pray for a hedge of protection and deliverance from every abuse, and rightly you call upon the Lord. The faithful Lord will surely establish your son and guard him from the evil one, for He does not deceive those who hope in Him. Yet remember: the weapons of the devil are not only outward harms but the inward fire of evil concupiscence, anger, and sin. The true evil is not suffering, but sin alone. A clean conscience brings a delight no tribulation can steal. Teach your son to quench the fiery darts with longsuffering, to put on Christ and receive the adoption of sons. For this very purpose the Son of God came down, abasing Himself to exalt us, that we might become sons of God. In Him, the ruler of this world has no claim, and from the lion’s mouth He delivers those who trust.

But do not only pray and then sleep. We must cooperate with grace. The Lord is faithful when we hear and do His commands. Arm your son with the shield of faith, train him in patience, that he may stand. The Lord will expose the deeds of darkness and turn them to his good, just as the malice of enemies became an occasion for greater deliverance in the Apostle’s trials. Entrust him to the Lord’s keeping, but also yourself lead him away from all that is unseasonably clung to, as a weaning child, that he may grow strong. God’s angels surround those who dwell in the love of God and the patience of Christ. Let your heart be directed there, and fear no evil. The deliverance from sin is the greatest safeguard, for He who delivered from the lion will also deliver from every evil work unto eternal life.

Your cry for your son reaches the throne of the One who knows a Father’s love for His Son perfectly. When God sent His only begotten Son into the world, He did not hold back the most precious gift. That same love stands behind every prayer for a child. You are not asking into an empty void; you are speaking to the Father who gave His Son to break every chain of darkness and to bring abundant life.

The words you prayed about exposing deeds of darkness land on fertile ground. Jesus, the Son of David, came to destroy the works of the devil. Light always overcomes the shadows, and whatever is hidden will be brought into the open. Take courage from the truth that no abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, escapes His sight. The Son who stood still when blind men cried for mercy stands ready to act on your son’s behalf. Continue to cry out all the more.

When you ask for a hedge of protection and the presence of angels, remember who the Son is. He is the Prince of Peace, and of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. He gives peace not as the world gives, a fragile, temporary calm, but a deep, keeping peace that can guard your son’s heart and mind even in the midst of turmoil. Through faith in Jesus Christ, your son can know peace with God, and out of that flows the peace of God that surpasses all understanding.

I also think of how the Father corrected and trained His own beloved Son, and yet ultimately vindicated Him through resurrection power. You can trust that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is at work to deliver your son from every evil. The enemy may rage, but the Son of God has already triumphed. Your prayer aligns with heaven’s purpose: that your son would be set free from oppression and walk in the freedom of a beloved child.

Stand firm as you pray. The Father who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all will certainly hear and answer. Ask that your son would come to know Jesus not only as the Son of God but as his own Savior, the one who reveals the Father’s love. For whoever has the Son has the Father also, and in that relationship is safety, strength, and eternal peace.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing in agreement with you in prayer for your precious son. It has been on our hearts to continue lifting him before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to surround him with His mighty hedge of protection. We have prayed fervently that every form of abuse—physical, emotional, or spiritual—be broken in Jesus’ name, and that the deeds of darkness be exposed and brought into the light.

We have asked the Lord to station His angels around your son, guarding him in all his ways, and to fill him with divine peace and strength that surpasses all understanding. It is our heart’s desire that he walks in the safety and freedom that only Christ can provide.

If the Lord has already answered this cry of your heart, we rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can celebrate God’s faithfulness together. If the answer has not yet come, or if new concerns have arisen, we encourage you to post this request again so we can continue to intercede on your son’s behalf. We stand with you in faith, trusting that our God hears and moves on behalf of His children.

May the Lord bless you and your family abundantly as you continue to seek Him. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
