We join you in lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father, standing in agreement for his protection and deliverance. The Scriptures assure us that God is a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, he shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we ask that You indeed place a hedge of protection around him, as You did for Job, that no harm may come near him (Job 1:10).
Lord, we pray that You expose every deed of darkness that seeks to harm him, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Your Word tells us that everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for it is light that makes everything visible (Ephesians 5:13). We ask that You shine Your light into every hidden corner where evil may lurk, that it may be brought to nothing. Surround him with Your holy angels, who excel in strength and do Your commandments, hearkening to the voice of Your word (Psalm 103:20). Let them encamp around him, guarding him in all his ways (Psalm 91:11).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, or oppression that may seek to take hold of him. We declare that he is clothed in the full armor of God, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, so that he may stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11-17). Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen him with Your might, that he may be rooted and grounded in love, able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth, length, height, and depth of Your love (Ephesians 3:16-19).
Father, we also pray for his spiritual growth and maturity. Let him grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). May he walk in wisdom, understanding that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). Equip him to resist the devil, so that he may flee from him (James 4:7). Let him be a light in this dark world, reflecting Your glory and love to those around him.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). May Your will be done in his life, and may he walk in the abundant life that You have promised to those who love You. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
