We join with you in lifting up your precious son to our Heavenly Father, the ultimate Protector and Defender. Your heart for his safety—body, mind, and spirit—reflects the love of God, who watches over His children with perfect care. The Scripture assures us, *"The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them"* (Psalm 34:7). We stand on this promise, declaring that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the Lord will expose every hidden snare of the enemy, for *"everything exposed by the light becomes visible"* (Ephesians 5:13).
Father God, we ask You to surround your son with Your heavenly hosts, as You did for Elisha when he was surrounded by enemy armies (2 Kings 6:15-17). Let him walk in the confidence of Your presence, knowing that You are his refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Shield him from those who would seek to harm him, and let Your truth be a lamp to his feet, guiding him away from deception and danger (Psalm 119:105). We rebuke every spirit of fear, abuse, or oppression in Jesus’ name, for *"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also pray for his spiritual growth, that he would come to know You more deeply and walk in the fullness of Your calling for his life. May he be rooted and grounded in Your Word, so that he is not swayed by the lies of the world or the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Father, give him godly mentors and friends who will speak life into him and hold him accountable in love (Proverbs 13:20).
Lord, if there are any areas where he has been wounded or is vulnerable, we ask for Your healing touch. Bind up his brokenness and restore what has been stolen from him (Joel 2:25). Let him experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and the joy of Your salvation (Psalm 51:12).
We declare over him the blessing of Numbers 6:24-26: *"Yahweh bless you and keep you. Yahweh make his face to shine on you and be gracious to you. Yahweh lift up his face toward you and give you peace."* May he grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man, just as Jesus did (Luke 2:52). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
