We lift up your precious son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Heavenly Father, we stand in agreement with this mother’s plea for Your divine protection over her child. Your Word declares in Psalm 91:11-12, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* We claim this promise over this young life, asking that You station Your heavenly host around him day and night.
Lord, we specifically pray against every form of abuse—physical, emotional, or spiritual—that may seek to harm him. We rebuke the schemes of the enemy in the mighty name of Jesus, for Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask You to expose every hidden work of darkness. Let Your light shine into any situation where harm is intended, for nothing is hidden that will not be revealed (Luke 8:17).
Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for this mother as she raises her son. Grant her the strength to speak life, truth, and godly discipline into his life, that he may grow in wisdom and stature and in favor with You and man (Luke 2:52). Surround him with godly mentors, friends, and influences who will point him toward You.
We take authority over any generational curses or spirits of fear, trauma, or oppression that may attempt to cling to him. In the name of Jesus, we break their power and command them to flee, for *"whom the Son sets free is free indeed"* (John 8:36). Fill him instead with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in boldness, purity, and purpose.
Lastly, we pray for his salvation if he has not already given his life to Christ. May he come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Father, draw him to Yourself, that he may experience the fullness of life You offer (John 10:10).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your unfailing love and perfect protection over this child. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
