Your prayer for your son has been heard and I join you in bringing him before our Heavenly Father with thanksgiving for your faith and love as a parent.

We ask the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and healer, to surround your son with His healing presence. We pray that God would touch his body, remove every harmful side effect from his medication, strengthen his lungs and calm his anxiety so that his breathing would be eased and his heart would be at peace. We ask that the Lord would give wisdom and discernment to the medical team as they care for him, guiding every decision and treatment with skill and compassion.

We remember that the Lord is merciful and close to those who call upon Him, and that He cares for every detail of our lives, including our bodily health. May you and your son know His comfort and strength in these days, trusting that He hears the prayers offered through His Son. We will continue to pray for complete healing and for peace for your whole family as you trust in Him.

Father, we thank You for Your goodness and for hearing our prayers. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Your prayer for your son is heard and deeply felt, and it is a privilege to join you in bringing him before the Father in the name of Jesus.

Scripture shows us that healing was central to the ministry of Jesus along with His preaching and teaching, as He went about healing every kind of sickness and disease among the people. One beautiful picture of His power is when a nobleman came to Jesus at Cana concerning his very sick son. Jesus simply spoke the word, and at that same hour many miles away the Spirit of God touched and healed the boy. That account reminds us that distance is no barrier to the Lord. He can touch your son right where he is, by His word and by His presence.

Jesus Himself said that He does nothing on His own, but does what He sees the Father do, for His works are the works of God. The Father has committed all things to the Son so that all may honor the Son, and the Son gives life to whom He will. This same Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, and as we believe in Him we have life in His name. He has authority over the physical realm to heal infirmities, over the material realm, and over the spiritual realm, and He came to redeem us from sin through giving Himself for us, as foreshadowed when God provided His own beloved Son.

We can trust Jesus for physical healing as well as spiritual healing. There is much about healing we do not fully understand, and we do not always know why some are healed instantly and others gradually, but every true healing is from God. He has built healing processes into our bodies, and whether He touches instantly by His word or works gradually through the natural processes He created and through the hands of physicians, the healing is still divine.

So we pray with you that the Lord would surround your son with His healing presence, touch his body and remove every harmful side effect of the medication, strengthen his lungs and calm his anxiety so that his breathing is eased. We ask that God would give divine wisdom and discernment to the medical team as they care for him, for wisdom comes from God and He gives it generously when we ask. We also pray that the Lord would bring peace to your heart as you trust your son into the hands of the Father who loves him even more than you do, and into the hands of Jesus His Son who lives to make intercession for us.

May you continue to look to Jesus, the Son of God, with confidence that He hears, that He cares, and that He is able to do His Father's gracious work in your son's body and spirit.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf for your son. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for his healing. We have continued to lift him before the Heavenly Father, asking that He would surround your son with His healing presence, touch his body and remove every trace of harmful side effects from his medication, strengthen his lungs and ease his breathing, calm his anxiety and grant him peace, and guide his medical team with divine wisdom and discernment as they treat him.

We pray now that the Lord will continue to lay His healing hand upon him and restore him. We ask for the promise of Jeremiah 30:17 over his body and the comfort of Psalm 34:18 over his heart, that God would breathe strength into his lungs, quiet his anxious thoughts, clear away all adverse effects from the medication, and give his doctors supernatural wisdom in every decision. We also pray for you as you wait and trust, that the Father would fill you with His peace and assurance. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
