Beloved of All
Father God, I come before You in the name of Jesus to ask for Your healing touch upon my son. Lord, his esophagus is eroded and damaged and ask that You soothe the inflammation, heal the lining, and regulate acid in his stomach. I also pray for his lungs and respiratory system. I ask that You remove all blockage, heal any damage from infection, and open his airways completely so he can breathe deeply and without pain. Lord, I ask that You guide his doctors and bless his treatment. I trust in Your power to mend what is broken and restore him to full health, in Jesus name Amen

We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, where our Great Physician hears the cries of His children. Your prayer is a powerful declaration of faith in the healing power of Jesus Christ, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that God is able to restore your son’s health completely.

The Bible assures us that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and that Jesus bore our sicknesses and carried our pains (Matthew 8:17). We declare these truths over your son’s life, trusting that the same God who spoke the world into existence can speak healing into his body. Father, we ask You to touch his esophagus, soothing the inflammation and repairing the damaged lining. Regulate the acid in his stomach, Lord, and bring balance where there is disorder. We also pray for his lungs and respiratory system, remove every blockage, heal any infection, and open his airways fully so he may breathe freely and without pain.

We pray for wisdom and discernment for his doctors, that You would guide their hands and minds as they care for him. May they be instruments of Your healing, Lord, and may Your peace guard their hearts and minds as they work. We trust in Your promise that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us (1 John 5:14), and we know that it is Your will for Your children to walk in health and wholeness.

Lord, we also ask that You strengthen your son’s faith and yours during this time. May you both feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may try to creep in, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that your son is healed in the mighty name of Jesus, and we thank You for the victory that is already his through Christ.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the assurance that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). We trust in Your timing and Your perfect plan, knowing that Your love for your son is greater than we can imagine. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We are holding your son and you in our hearts right now. A parent’s love runs deep, and carrying this kind of concern for your child can feel heavy and isolating. We want you to know you are not alone in it. Many of us have walked alongside a loved one through long stretches of illness, and we understand the mix of fierce hope and quiet exhaustion it can bring.

What stands out to us is your clear trust in God’s power while also asking Him to guide the doctors and bless the treatment. That balance isn’t always easy to hold, and we want to gently encourage you to keep leaning into both, the divine and the practical. When a condition persists, it can wear down not just the body but also the spirits of everyone in the family. So as you continue to pray and advocate for your son, please also pay attention to your own need for rest, for moments of peace, and for people who will simply be with you in this without offering quick answers. It is not selfish to refuel; it is sustainable love.

If you haven’t already, it might be helpful to have a conversation with your son’s medical team about what you can expect over the next weeks and months, and whether there are ways to track even small signs of progress. Sometimes in chronic conditions, slow improvements are easy to miss when everyone is exhausted. We also encourage you to let one or two trusted friends or church members know specifically how they can support you, a meal, a listening ear, or just prayer when you can’t find your own words.

Now we join you in asking for your son’s healing. Father, in Jesus’ name we lift up this son to You. We ask You to soothe the ###, bring down ###, and restore healthy function to his ### and ###. Clear his ### so he can breathe deeply and without pain. Give his doctors wisdom, steady hands, and fresh insight. Surround this family with Your peace that outlasts uncertainty, and strengthen this parent’s heart for the days ahead. We trust You to mend what is broken and hold what feels fragile. Amen.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves, the least things about Him, are full of healing virtue. Your prayer for your son goes up rightly, for you have come to the great Conduit Head from whom all streams of healing flow down to men below. Cast your care upon Him who took our sicknesses and bore our infirmities, for the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings.

Healing and forgiveness are set in happy conjunction, and when our Lord walked among us, He did not sever the two. To the sick of the palsy He spoke first of sin forgiven, then of body restored, that we might know He has power upon earth to forgive sins. Trust His power to mend what is broken in your son’s frame, for the remedy was all drained by Himself on the tree. The bitter medicine was not for us to drink, Christ has drunk it dry. Now, from His cross and throne, He dispenses healing to all who look to Him. The very least touch of His hand, as when He lifted Peter’s wife’s mother by the hand, brings life and strength.

Yet remember, healing must come before serving, and the Lord’s timing is His own. He does not always send it in the way we expect, but He does all things well. Guide your son’s heart, even now, to rest not merely in the removal of his affliction, but in the One who bore that affliction’s deeper root. The Lord may use this trial to teach you both that His grace is sufficient, and that the inner healing of the soul surpasses all bodily ease. Pray on, but let your faith stand not in the wisdom of physicians, though you rightly ask God to guide them, but in the living Christ who is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Welcome that healing which comes from the pardoning hand, for it cleanses the lifeblood of the spirit and changes the nature. Whether the Lord grants a swift restoration or a slower deliverance, He will perfect that which concerns you. The leaves of the tree are not withered; they are for the healing of the nations, and for your son too. Wait upon the Lord with expectation, for He has begun a good work in him and will complete it until the day of Christ. Let your heart take courage, the Great Physician is never at a loss, nor is His arm shortened.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You come pleading for your son's healing, and rightly so, for a parent's love is a reflection of God's own care. But let us consider what faith is required when we approach the Lord. Christ, when two blind men cried out to Him as "Son of David," did not immediately heal them, but asked, "Believe ye that I am able to do this?" He drew from them a confession not of His earthly lineage alone, but of His divine power. So too, when you pray in Jesus' name, do not think of Him merely as a great healer or a king of Israel, but as the true Son of God, Very God, by whom all things were made. It is this faith that opens the door to His mercy.

Yet while you ask for the body of your son to be mended, remember that we are debtors not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. The body must be cared for, it is true, but the soul's health is of far greater moment. Do not let your desire for physical healing overshadow the need for spiritual healing in both you and your son. For if we live only according to the flesh, we shall die; but if through the Spirit we put to death the deeds of the body, we shall live. Therefore, as you entreat the Lord for his esophagus and lungs, entreat Him even more earnestly for the cleansing of sin, for repentance, and for a life conformed to His commandments. The sickness of the body is but for a time, but the soul's sickness lasts into eternity.

Pray with importunity, as Paul did, night and day, praying exceedingly. Do not lose heart if relief does not come at once. The Lord often delays not from neglect, but to draw us nearer to Himself, to perfect what is lacking in our faith. Consider how many who heard the word ten times without fruit later yielded a rich harvest with one more hearing. The seed of your prayer, watered by tears and steadfast trust, will surely bring forth its fruit in due season. God sent His Son not to judge the world, but to save it, and He wills not the death of a sinner but that all should turn and live. Therefore, commit your son entirely to Him, confident that whatever befalls, He is working your eternal good.
