Son, healing

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Father God, I come before You in the name of Jesus to ask for Your healing touch upon my son. Lord, his esophagus is eroded and damaged and ask that You soothe the inflammation, heal the lining, and regulate acid in his stomach. I also pray for his lungs and respiratory system. I ask that You remove all blockage, heal any damage from infection, and open his airways completely so he can breathe deeply and without pain. Lord, I ask that You guide his doctors and bless his treatment. I trust in Your power to mend what is broken and restore him to full health, in Jesus name Amen

We join you in lifting up your precious son before the throne of grace, where our Great Physician hears the cries of His children. Father God, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the only name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His shed blood and resurrection power that we have bold access to Your presence, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

Lord, we stand in agreement with this mother’s prayer, declaring Your promise that by Your wounds, her son is healed. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness that has taken hold of his esophagus and lungs, for it is written that the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We command the inflammation to cease, the lining of his esophagus to be restored, and the acid in his stomach to be regulated according to Your perfect design. We speak healing over his lungs and respiratory system, declaring that every blockage is removed, every infection is cleansed, and every airway is opened wide in the mighty name of Jesus. Let his breath be a testimony to Your restoring power, for You are the God who formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (Genesis 2:7).

Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for his doctors. Guide their hands, their minds, and their decisions, that they may be instruments of Your healing. Bless the treatments they prescribe, and let them work in harmony with Your divine intervention. We trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that even the very hairs of our heads are numbered (Matthew 10:30), and that You care deeply for this young man’s well-being.

We also lift up this mother’s heart, Lord. Strengthen her faith as she waits on You, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let her rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28), even when the path is difficult.

Heavenly Father, we declare that Your healing power is at work in this young man’s body right now. We speak life where there has been pain, strength where there has been weakness, and wholeness where there has been brokenness. May he rise up in full health, giving glory and honor to Your name. We thank You for Your faithfulness, for You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and Your promises never fail.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear the ache behind your words and the love you carry for your son. Watching him struggle with these physical challenges must feel heavy, and we’re grateful you shared this with us so we can stand with you.

Your prayer is honest and specific, you’re asking for real, tangible healing in his esophagus, his lungs, his breathing. That takes courage and trust. We’re moved that you are also asking God to guide his doctors and bless his treatment. It’s a quiet reminder that God works through the hands and minds of medical professionals, and we can be confident that he is with your son in the exam room just as he is in the quiet moments at home.

As you wait for your son’s body to mend, we hope you also let others in your church family or close circle know what you’re carrying. Sometimes just having someone pray with you in person or bring a meal can lighten the load in ways that surprise you. You don’t have to walk this alone.

We are praying with you now:

Lord Jesus, we bring this mother’s son to you. Soothe the inflammation in his esophagus, heal the damaged lining, and bring his stomach acid into a healthy rhythm. Clear his lungs and airways, remove every blockage, and repair any harm from infection. Let him breathe deeply and without pain. Grant wisdom and steady skill to every doctor, nurse, and specialist involved in his care. Hold this family close, give them your peace that outlasts any fear, and let them sense your nearness each day. In your name we ask, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

How often the simplest leaves of that tree of life prove to be for the healing of the nations! The very least touch of Christ’s garment, the faintest whisper of His promise, is charged with restoring power. You have brought your son to the Great Physician, not with the clamour of unbelief, but in the quiet confidence of a father’s heart crying, “Lord, if You will, You can make him clean.” That is the very posture which pleases Him who, when He was teaching, caused the healing power to flow so conspicuously among the people.

The same hand that forgives sins is stretched out to heal diseases. He that calmed the fever and opened the deaf ear has not lost His ancient skill. Did He not bear our sicknesses and carry our pains? That erosion, that inflamed passage, those labouring lungs, they are not beyond His notice. The Sun of Righteousness still rises with healing in His wings, and His look, full of Divine compassion, can reach the sufferer though he lies far from sight. The Lord turned and looked upon Peter, and that glance wrought a full restoration. Shall He not look upon your son in tender mercy, and command every blocked passage to be opened, every damaged tissue to be soothed?

There is an abundance of healing virtue in Christ Jesus. Not only the ripe fruit of His glorified body, but the very leaves, what we might count lesser mercies, are medicinal. The skill granted to doctors, the relief of one night’s rest, the lifting of a degree of pain: these are leaves plucked from that tree which is for the healing of the nations. Bless the Lord for every small improvement, and do not doubt that He who began the work will complete it. The gospel’s healing power does not merely touch the soul; it often spreads into the mortal frame, giving a foretaste of that day when the inhabitant shall no more say, “I am sick.”

Continue to bring him, as those four men brought the palsied, right into the presence of Jesus. Let there be no barrier of unbelief, for with the Lord there is perfect restoration. When He restores, He leaves no remainder of the woe; He makes a man as if he had never suffered. Oh that your son may soon breathe freely without pain, and that his restored strength may become a testimony to those around him! Meanwhile, trust in the Divine forgetfulness of sin through the Cross, and remember that bodily healing, precious though it is, is but a leaf from the tree whose root is Calvary. Pray on, wait on, and look for His appearing. He will not fail you.

You come before the Father in the name of Jesus, asking healing for your son. This is right, for Christ Himself taught us to approach God with boldness. But consider: when He healed the blind men, He did not simply grant the request. He stopped and asked, “Believe ye that I am able to do this?” He demanded faith not merely in His intercession but in His own power. So I ask you now: do you believe that the Son of God is able, by His own authority, to soothe the esophagus, open the lungs, and restore your child? That belief is the foundation. His mercy does not fall equally on all, but is given in proportion to the faith of those who ask. Therefore, let your prayer be not only persistent but filled with unwavering trust that He can do this very thing.

Night and day the Apostle Paul prayed exceedingly to see his fellow believers and perfect what was lacking in their faith. That same zeal should mark your petitions. Do not grow weary if health does not return at once. Often the Lord delays, not from indifference, but to draw us closer, to refine our faith as gold in the furnace. A tree after ten strokes stands, then falls at the eleventh. Yet it was not the last blow alone, but all the previous ones that brought it down. So too with prayer: you may have asked many times and seen no change, but each faithful cry is a stroke that works unseen, and suddenly the whole tree of affliction will topple.

Still, remember that the Son of God is not only a healer of bodies but the Savior of souls. The same Christ who said, “I came not to judge the world but to save the world,” sometimes uses illness to accomplish a deeper healing. He surrounds us with medicine that is painful but purifies, lest we face a judgment without remedy. So if the recovery lingers, do not imagine He has turned away. He may be working a greater wonder: making your son a son of God through the fellowship of suffering, just as He Himself, the true Son, stooped to be called Son of David so that we slaves might become sons of the Father.

Continue, then, in prayer. Ask that the doctors be guided, for they are but instruments. The true physician is Christ, who by a word created all things. Commend your son into His hands, saying with the disciples, “Lord, he whom Thou lovest is sick.” And trust that whether the healing comes swiftly or slowly, whether in this life or in the life to come, He who revealed His Son in Paul will also reveal His power and love in your household. May you hear Him say at last, “According to your faith be it unto you,” and may your son rise up to glorify God with every breath.
