Son, healing

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Father God, I come before You in the name of Jesus to ask for Your healing touch upon my son. Lord, his esophagus is eroded and damaged and ask that You soothe the inflammation, heal the lining, and regulate acid in his stomach. I also pray for his lungs and respiratory system. I ask that You remove all blockage, heal any damage from infection, and open his airways completely so he can breathe deeply and without pain. Lord, I ask that You guide his doctors and bless his treatment. I trust in Your power to mend what is broken and restore him to full health, in Jesus name Amen

We lift up this precious son to You, Father, with hearts full of faith in Your healing power. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We stand on this promise, believing that You are the Great Physician who can mend what is broken and restore what has been damaged.

Lord, we ask You to touch his esophagus, soothing the inflammation and healing the eroded lining. Bring restoration to every cell, every tissue, and every part that has been affected. Regulate the acid in his stomach, Father, and bring balance where there is disorder. We also pray for his lungs and respiratory system, remove every blockage, heal any damage from infection, and open his airways completely. Let him breathe deeply, freely, and without pain, as Your Word says in Psalm 103:3, "Who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."

We ask for Your divine guidance over his doctors and medical team. Give them wisdom, discernment, and clarity as they care for him. Bless the treatments prescribed, that they may work in harmony with Your healing power. We trust in You, Lord, for You are the One who holds his life in Your hands.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that seeks to linger in his body. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen his faith and his family’s faith, that they may stand firm in the assurance of Your love and power.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed. Amen.

We hear the ache in your words, the love of a mother who is fighting for her son with the deepest weapon she knows, prayer. It’s clear you have placed him squarely in the hands of Jesus, exactly where he belongs. We are joining you there, asking God to touch his esophagus, his lungs, and every part of his body that is struggling right now.

While we pray for a full and swift healing, we also know that chronic illness can wear on a whole family. It’s okay to admit that alongside your hope you carry worry, sleepless nights, and the constant mental load of managing care. So we are praying not only for your son’s body but also for your own heart, that you would sense God’s nearness, that He would steady you when fear crowds in. Sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is let others come alongside us. If your church family or close friends have offered help, let them. Accepting a meal, a ride, or simply a listening ear isn’t a lack of trust; it’s the body of Christ being the body of Christ.

Keep walking closely with his doctors, too. God often uses their skill and wisdom as part of the healing process, so ask questions, follow the treatment plan, and don’t hesitate to seek second opinions if needed. We’ll keep lifting you both up, confident that no part of this is hidden from Him.

Father, in Jesus’ name we bring this mother and her son before You. Please soothe the inflammation, heal the damaged esophagus, open his airways, and regulate everything in his body that is out of balance. Guide his doctors, give them clear insight, and bless the treatments. And wrap this mother in Your peace, let her feel Your comfort as she waits and trusts. We lean on Your compassion, resting in Your power and Your timing. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer that has come before the throne from a father’s heart for his suffering son is not cast aside, for the leaves of the tree of life are given for the healing of all our maladies. How much more, then, the fruit? In Christ there is a superabundance of healing power; even the smallest touch of His garment, the very hem of His robe, is laden with virtue for both soul and body. He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and the Gospel that proclaims Him is ever a healing word.

Consider the poor palsied man whose friends tore up the roof to lay him at Jesus’ feet. The Lord gave him first the word of pardon, ‘Son, your sins are forgiven you’, and then the command to arise and walk. Pardon and healing are yoked together in the Savior’s work. So I bid you lay your son, by faith, directly before the Great Physician. Whether He chooses to heal instantly by the word of His power or through the means of doctors and medicine, the source is the same. That sacred look which fell upon Peter and melted him to restoration, that same look of infinite compassion can fall upon your boy’s weakened frame. The same voice that commanded the winds and waves can bid the inflammation in his esophagus subside, can open his airways, and restore him to soundness.

You have done well to cry out, ‘Lord, if You will, You can make him whole.’ Now cast the whole weight of this burden upon Christ. The healing leaves of His grace change the very life-blood; they work a cure even in the most ravaged parts. Do not be dismayed if the healing comes gradually, for the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and the dawn to full day may take time. Even now, the restoring hand is at work. The Father’s kiss upon the returning prodigal made him as though he had never wandered; so the Lord can make your son’s body as if the erosion had never been, and cause him to breathe with the ease of a child. I entrust him with you to the Hands that were pierced, and I wait with you for the answer. The prayer of faith shall heal the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up. Amen.

Your prayer ascends with faith in the name of Jesus, and this is right, for it is He who said, “Believe ye that I am able to do this?” He did not say, “Believe that I can entreat the Father,” but “that I am able,” revealing that His own power heals. The same Lord who touched the blind and restored the lame sees your son’s affliction. Cling to this, not as those who call Him merely a king of Israel, but as Very God, able to command the body into health by His word. Yet the measure of healing often depends upon faith, for His mercy has a kind of proportion, waiting upon our earnest trust and patient endurance.

Therefore, do not pray merely once or with fainting heart, but night and day, with exceeding longing, like the apostle who yearned to see the fruit of his labor. As the husbandman gazing upon his field burdened with grain aches to behold it with his own eyes, so let your soul stretch out toward the restoration of your child, not demanding, but persisting in hope. And while you ask for bodily healing, remember the greater healing of the soul. Christ came not to judge the world but to save it; He delays final judgment that sinners might repent. Let your son, and all your household, hear and keep His commandments, for this is the sure proof of love toward the Son and the Father. Do not imagine that physical recovery alone is the end, but let it be a door to perfect what may be lacking in your faith, that you might all be presented whole before God.

If the healing seems slow, do not despair. A tree may receive many strokes and seem to stand unshaken, yet after long affliction one blow fells it. The soul often hears and appears insensible, but the seeds of truth work secretly, and in time bear fruit. Continue, then, in prayer and in calling upon the physicians, for God guides their hands. But trust not in them alone, for He who formed the esophagus and breathed life into the lungs can restore them from the inside, as the Creator mending His own work. I am fully persuaded that such eager desire and such a love of hearing and obeying will not fail of its effect. Only wait upon Him who suffered a slave to be His father after the flesh, that He might make the Lord Father to you, a slave. He who did this will not withhold mercy from your son, if you receive His words not as mere sounds but as Christ speaking within you, revealing Himself to your whole soul. Walk in His commandments, and may the healing come, first to your trust, then to your child’s body, for the glory of the Father and the Son.

Every prayer lifted for a suffering child moves the heart of the Father who knows exactly what it is to give His own beloved Son. When you come in the name of Jesus, you are not pleading with a distant God. You are standing on the ground purchased by the only begotten Son, the One in whom the Father is well pleased. The healing you seek is always sought in the shadow of that greater gift.

The Scriptures show us a nobleman who once came to Jesus about his own son, who lay sick miles away. Jesus spoke the word, and at that very distance, the life and health of the boy were restored. The same Son who did the works of the Father then is the Son who holds all authority now, and no distance, no eroded tissue, no blocked airway is beyond the reach of His command. So you are right to trust in His power to mend what is broken. That is not presumption; it is the substance of faith.

I do believe in healing, and I believe you can trust Jesus for it in every part of your son’s body. Sometimes healing comes in a moment, as a sudden, sovereign reversal of damage. Other times it unfolds through the processes God Himself designed within the body, as He guides the minds of doctors and blesses the treatments they provide. All of it is divine. The intricate way the lungs take in oxygen and the blood carries it through every cell is not a random machine. It is a system crafted by a Creator who keeps His hand on the very muscles that sustain life. So when you ask Him to soothe inflammation, to heal the lining, to regulate acid, and to open the airways completely, you are asking the One who engineered the breath in your son’s lungs and knows exactly how to restore them.

The deepest comfort, however, is in the relationship you already know. Abraham was asked to offer his son, his only son Isaac, whom he loved. That test pointed forward to what the Father Himself would do in giving His own beloved Son as a sacrifice. When you stand alongside a child in pain, you are standing in a love that the Godhead understands perfectly. The Father’s love for the Son is eternal and perfect. And because the Son has revealed the Father to us, you can know that your love for your son is held within that greater, stronger love. He corrects the sons He receives; He does not abandon those who belong to Him.

Whether the healing comes in a sudden rush or a gradual, steady return of strength, let your heart rest in the One who proves His love by His own sacrifice. Continue to honor the Son by bringing your requests in His name. Continue to trust that the very breath you are praying for is held in the hands of the One who gives life to whom He will. You have not come before a judge who condemns, but before the Son to whom all judgment has been committed so that all men should honor Him even as they honor the Father. In that place, ask boldly, wait patiently, and watch for His work.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your son’s healing. It has been on our hearts to lift him before the Lord, asking for His divine touch upon his esophagus, lungs, and entire body. We have prayed in agreement with you, believing that God is able to soothe the inflammation, heal the damaged tissue, and restore his respiratory system completely. We have also asked the Lord to guide his doctors with wisdom and bless every part of his treatment, trusting that His hand is at work even now.

If God has answered this prayer in any way—whether through healing, comfort, or strength—we would love to rejoice with you. Please share a praise report so we can give Him all the glory. If the healing you seek has not yet come to pass, we encourage you to post this request again so we may continue to intercede on your son’s behalf. We stand with you in faith, believing that God is moving even when we cannot see it.

May the Lord continue to draw near to you and your family, filling you with peace and hope as you seek Him. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
