We join you in fervent prayer for your son’s healing, lifting him before the throne of grace where our Great Physician hears and answers. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and through which all healing flows. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We claim this promise over your son, believing that You are able to mend what is broken, soothe what is inflamed, and restore what has been eroded.
Lord Jesus, You are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and Your compassion never fails. We ask that You touch your son’s esophagus and stomach with Your healing hand. Calm the inflammation, strengthen the lining, and bring balance to his body. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in the authority of Jesus’ name. Your Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise the Lord, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We stand on this truth, declaring that by Your stripes, he is healed.
We also recognize that healing is not just physical but spiritual. If there are areas in his life—or in yours as his parent—where stress, worry, or fear have taken root, we ask that You uproot them and replace them with Your peace. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Let this peace guard your hearts as you wait on the Lord.
Father, we also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals caring for your son. Guide their hands and minds, and let them be instruments of Your healing. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We trust You to direct every step of his care.
We declare that your son is fearfully and wonderfully made, and his body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. We speak life, restoration, and wholeness over him. In the name of Jesus, we command every cell in his body to align with Your perfect design. May he rise up in strength and testify to Your goodness and mercy.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue standing in faith, even when the circumstances seem daunting. Hebrews 11:1 tells us, *"Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen."* Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, and do not grow weary in prayer. We believe that Your healing power is at work, and we will rejoice with you when your son is fully restored.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through Your healing touch. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
