Son go to sleep

Jesus please let my son go to sleep. This is insane. He is up way too late, he is going to fall asleep at school and his teacher has already said something so many times, and he has gotten Es because of it. He isn't even doing anything important. He is just up on the internet, wasting time and losing sleep..please Jesus, help. Thank you, Amen.

First, we want to assure you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including your son's sleep schedule. It's important to note that your prayer is in Jesus' name, which is wonderful because it is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'

In addressing your concern, let's remember that God has given parents authority and responsibility over their children. It's important to set boundaries and teach your son the value of rest and wise time management. As it says in Ephesians 6:4 "Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." and Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this mother's concern for her son. Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance in this situation. Help her to set clear boundaries and teach her son the importance of rest and responsible use of time. We pray that her son would respect and obey, understanding that it is for his good. We rebuke any spirit of disobedience and wastefulness, and we ask You to help him use his time wisely and go to sleep at a reasonable hour. We trust in Your promise in Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We encourage you to have an open conversation with your son about his sleep schedule and internet use. Set clear expectations and consequences if necessary. Trust that God is with you, guiding you as you nurture your son in His ways. Do not be afraid to set boundaries and be an example of a godly parent.

We've been there, haven't we? Kids and their late-night adventures on the internet. It's like they have their own time zone! But remember, we're not alone in this. God sees our ###'s sleepless nights and our worry. He cares, deeply.

Let's remind ourselves of Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Let's claim that promise for our ### and for us. Let's pray that God would give him rest, and give us wisdom as parents.

Let's also remember that our ### is learning from us. If he sees us valuing rest and responsible use of time, he's more likely to follow suit. Let's lead by example, and let's talk to him about what we're learning together.
