Beloved of All
Jesus please let my son stop staying up so late. It is so frustrating and nothing works to change it. Please also let our car be ok, let the problem with the oil from yesterday not still be there, let it have been a one-time problem. Please also let me get the official approval for something that I applied for and let my husband stop spending so much money and pay the rest of the money that he owes for the bills. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We come before the Lord with these heartfelt concerns, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can find true peace and resolution.

First, we pray for your son, asking the Lord to grant him wisdom and self-discipline in his daily habits. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 3:24, "When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet." We rebuke the spirit of procrastination and late-night habits that disrupt godly rest, and we ask the Holy Spirit to convict his heart to seek a rhythm that honors God and his well-being. Father, give him the strength to rise early and manage his time wisely, as Psalm 119:147 says, "I rise before dawn and cry for help. I put my hope in your words." We also pray for patience and grace for you, dear sister, as you guide him with love and godly instruction.

For your car, we declare God’s protection and provision over it. We rebuke any lingering mechanical issues in Jesus’ name, trusting that the Lord can turn what seems like a persistent problem into a testimony of His faithfulness. Philippians 4:19 reminds us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that the oil issue was indeed a one-time occurrence and that no further damage has been done. May the Lord grant wisdom to those who inspect it and provide the resources needed for any necessary repairs.

Regarding the approval you seek, we stand in faith with you, believing that the Lord is opening doors that no man can shut. Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed." We pray that the officials reviewing your application will be guided by the Holy Spirit to make a just and timely decision. May the Lord remove any obstacles and grant you favor in this matter.

For your husband’s financial stewardship, we pray for a transformation of heart and mind. The Bible warns us in 1 Timothy 6:10, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows." We rebuke any spirit of recklessness or poor stewardship and ask the Lord to convict him to honor God with his finances. May he prioritize paying the bills and managing resources wisely, as Proverbs 22:7 tells us, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender." We pray for unity in your marriage, that you both would seek God’s wisdom in financial matters and work together to glorify Him.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this family to You, asking for Your peace to reign in their home. May they seek You first in all things, trusting in Your provision and timing. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to walk in obedience to Your Word. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We hear just how many things are weighing on you at once, the frustration with your son, worry about the car, waiting on an approval, and the pressure of finances at home. It makes sense that this all feels heavy, so we’re right here, bringing each one before Jesus alongside you.

That struggle with your son’s late nights can be especially draining when you’ve tried everything and nothing seems to stick. Sometimes, particularly with teenagers but not only them, staying up late isn’t simple defiance, it can be a real shift in the body’s internal clock. It may help to gently notice what’s happening rather than seeing it as a battle: keep a simple log for a week or two, just noting when he goes to bed, what he was doing beforehand, and how he seems the next day. If it’s been going on a long time or seems extreme, a chat with his doctor could also give you both some peace and a plan. You don’t have to solve it all alone.

For the car, we’re asking God to let it be a small, one-time issue and to keep you safe. For the approval you applied for, we’re waiting with you, trusting that God sees your need. And with your husband’s spending and the unpaid bills, we know that financial strain cuts deep. We’re praying for open, calm conversations and wisdom for both of you as you steward what God has provided.

Right now, we simply lift all of this to Him:

Lord Jesus, you know each worry in this home, the sleepless nights, the car, the waiting, the money. Give this mom your peace that holds steady even when circumstances don’t. Help her son find healthy rest, and guide any next steps that might help. We ask for a good report on the car and for the approval to come through. Soften her husband’s heart toward wise spending, and bring their finances into order. Cover them with your care and provision, and remind them that you are near in every detail. Amen.

Father, we lift up this son who struggles to sleep at night—please regulate his rest and bring peaceful, timely sleep. We ask for protection over their car—let the oil issue be resolved and not return. Please grant official approval for what they have applied for, and touch the husband's heart regarding finances—help him to be wise with spending and to pay what he owes for the bills. We trust You to intervene in every concern. In Jesus' name, Amen.

- *"In peace I will lie down and sleep, for You alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety."* — **Psalm 4:8**
- *"He grants sleep to those He loves."* — **Psalm 127:2**
- *"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, present your requests to God."* — **Philippians 4:6**
- *"My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus."* — **Philippians 4:19**

You have done well to bring every care before the throne of grace, for the Lord knows them that are His and He hears the cry of the needy. In these trials, let holy reverence within the heart and careful obedience manifested in the life be your infallible marks. The path of obedience is generally a middle path, turn not from it to the right hand or to the left. Your son’s late hours are a grief to you, but remember, our obedience should begin at home; it will find its hands full enough there. Do you not love the child who looks out for occasions and opportunities to please you? Yet the very essence of obedience lies in exactness, and a thoroughgoing, commendable obedience appears in little things. He never says, “I will go thus far in obedience, but no further.” Pray that the true Light of God shines upon him, that he may sit at Jesus’ feet like a child and learn of Him. The obedience which is not cheerfully rendered is of little worth before God, but when faith produces it, obedience becomes a delight.

As for the car and the approval you seek, the child of light may sometimes walk in darkness, yet the Lord God, Himself, in the pillar of fire is the light of His people; apart from that, they have no other light. The path of obedience is often where Jesus meets us, as He met the women when they ran to bring His disciples word. Their obedience was rewarded with assurance and peace. Cast these cares upon Him and go forward in the obedience of faith, not in terror or dread.

Your husband’s spending is a heavy trial. Many a godly woman has lost her cheerful spirits through a harsh, ungodly husband. Beware lest you be drawn into the jingle-jangle of controversy; rather, walk as a child of light and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness. Let your own conduct be such that at night you may rest, having set no wrong example. It will require great care and self-denial, but the Lord can change hearts. Persistent, scrupulous obedience throughout life may need more courage than the martyr’s stake, yet it yields peaceable fruits of righteousness. Awake, you that sleep, and Christ shall give you light. See, then, that you walk circumspectly, giving thanks always for the blessings that come, and trust that He who leads the blind by a way they knew not will make darkness light before you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask many things of the Lord, but the heart of your prayer is troubled by worldly cares. Why such anxiety over oil for your car, when the oil you need most is the oil of mercy that keeps your lamp burning for the Bridegroom? Do not fret about machinery that perishes, but seek the unction of the Spirit, which no calamity can drain. If God watches over the sparrow, shall He not provide for your conveyance? Cast this care upon Him and be still.

Your son keeps late hours, and this frustrates you. But have you considered that these wakeful nights might be turned to profit for his soul? Rather than fighting the darkness, teach him to watch in prayer and reading of Scripture. You cannot drive out the love of repose by scolding, but by kindling a greater fire, the warmth of divine love. A gentle word and your own patient example will do more than a hundred commands. Remember, you are not the master of his body but the guardian of his soul.

You desire official approval, a seal from men. Why cling to the approval of mortals, which is as grass? Seek first the approval of the King of Heaven, who alone opens and no one shuts. If you have made your request known to God with thanksgiving, then leave it there. His timing is not yours; His wisdom chooses what is best. Do you trust Him only when you see the paper with your own eyes? That is not faith, but sight. Let your patience have its perfect work.

Now about your husband’s spending. I hear a note of bitterness, a desire to control what you cannot force. The Scripture says, “Thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.” This is hard to the proud heart, but it is God’s order. Do you think harsh words and constant reminders will change him? They will only harden him and wound your own peace. Win him, if he is wayward, by your chaste and quiet behavior, not by demands. A wife’s adornment is modesty and a meek spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious. Put away the role of a creditor and take up the mantle of a helper. If he fails in duty, your own patient endurance before Christ will speak louder than a thousand reproaches.

Lift your eyes above these little troubles. Your true Husband is Christ, the Saviour of the body. He has given you eternal life, adoption, the kingdom. Will He not with Himself freely give you all things? Do not be like the woman who remembers her earthly protector but forgets the God who formed her. Let your soul be a virgin, uncorrupted by worldly imaginations, and you will enter the bridal chamber with a bright torch. Peace be yours as you walk in this narrow way.

I hear the ache in your words, the weariness of a mother frustrated by late nights that won’t change, weighed down by car troubles, waiting on an answer, and watching the money just slip away. You’re not alone in this. The Lord sees every one of these burdens, and He doesn’t turn a deaf ear to the cries of His children. Remember Leah, who kept hoping that each new son would finally win her husband’s love. She named them out of that longing, Look, a son; Hearing, because God heard her misery; even Hired, as if she could earn what only grace can give. In all of it, God was bending low to listen. He sees your affliction, and He hears your prayer. He isn’t far off. He’s the Father who ran to meet the muddy, broken son before the boy could even choke out his apology, smothering him with kisses, restoring him fully. That’s the heart you’re crying out to right now.

About your son: you long to see him walk in wisdom, to lay his head down at a proper time and rise with purpose. Proverbs is filled with a father’s urgent plea: “My son, hear the instruction of your father and forsake not the law of your mother.” Eventually, a wise son does make a glad mother, while a foolish one becomes a deep heaviness. But understand that the Lord loves your child more than you ever could. He knows how to correct and draw a soul to Himself. Sometimes what we can’t untangle with our own words or frustration, God can gently reorder through circumstances and the quiet conviction of His Spirit. Don’t grow weary in praying. Keep lifting him up, just as Abraham interceded and ultimately trusted the Lord with his own beloved son. And remember that for every time you feel you’ve failed as a parent, the Father’s mercy is bigger. David struggled mightily with his own sons, yet God still planted the promise in Solomon’s line. Your hope isn’t in perfect parenting; it rests in the only begotten Son who was given for us all.

On the car and the financial strain and the approval you’re waiting for: these daily anxieties can press hard. But Jesus asked the blind man point-blank, “Do you believe on the Son of God?” That man had never seen Him before, yet in an instant he learned that the very One speaking to him was the Messiah. You have already seen Him through the Scriptures and tasted His faithfulness. Bring these needs directly to Him, the oil leak that may be nothing or may be something, the official stamp you need, the money that seems to scatter. Abraham had to trust that God would provide the lamb, even on the mountain of sacrifice. Your provision might not appear exactly when or how you expect, but the Lord never fails to honor His word. He is not a man that He should lie. When the world’s resources run thin, His supply never does.

And about your husband and the spending: that can stir up such turmoil in a home. The Proverbs again, the father urging his son, “Deliver yourself as a roe from the hand of the hunter. Give not sleep to thine eyes.” In other words, deal urgently with what entangles. Pray that God would give him wisdom and a heart that delights in provision rather than waste. But as you do, keep your own soul anchored not in the shifting state of your bank account but in the finished work of Jesus. He who gave His only Son for you will not abandon you in lesser needs.

Jesus is the ladder Jacob saw in his dream, planted firmly on earth and reaching into heaven, with the Lord standing above it all. All your requests ascend through Him. So pour out your heart again, without fear. The Father who smothered that wayward son with kisses receives you with joy. He is waiting to show Himself strong on your behalf.
