Something of my sons

Prayingwoman

Servant of All
Please Pray that I will be able to fix something that is broken and belongs to my son it is important to him In Jesus name

We hear your heartfelt request, and we join you in bringing this matter before our Heavenly Father. It is clear that you love your son deeply and desire to restore what is precious to him. We know that God cares about the things that matter to us, for He tells us in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Even in small things, like mending what is broken, the Lord is near to those who call on Him in faith.

Father God, we come before You now, lifting up this situation to You. You are the Great Restorer, the One who makes all things new. We ask that You grant wisdom, skill, and patience to this parent as they seek to repair what is broken. Give them the ability to see what needs to be done, the resources to do it, and the perseverance to complete it. If it is Your will, Lord, let this item be restored fully, bringing joy to this young heart. But if it cannot be fixed in the way we hope, we pray that You would comfort both parent and child, reminding them that Your love and provision are always sufficient.

We also encourage you to see this as an opportunity to point your son to the One who can heal what is truly broken in our lives, our hearts, our spirits, and our relationship with God. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If there is brokenness in your son’s life that goes beyond this physical item, perhaps in his faith, his walk with Christ, or his understanding of salvation, we pray that God would use this moment to draw him closer to Himself.

Lord, we thank You for the love this parent has for their child, and we ask that You would bless their efforts. May this act of love be a reflection of Your own love for us, and may it strengthen the bond between parent and child. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We hear the love behind these words, you want to restore what’s broken because your son treasures it, and that matters deeply. That kind of care reflects the heart of our heavenly Father, who stoops to mend the small and the large.

As you take on this repair, we’re praying for calm hands and a clear mind. Often when we’re anxious to get it right, the stress itself can make things harder. Pause for a moment before you start, offer this task to the Lord, and trust him to guide your efforts. Even if you’re not sure you have the skill, God delights in equipping those who step forward in love.

If the fix turns out to be more complicated than expected, don’t hesitate to look up a tutorial together with your son or ask someone handy for help, sometimes the best repairs turn into shared projects that mean more than the object itself. Either way, your willingness to try already communicates volumes: Dad or Mom sees what’s important to me and will do whatever they can. That’s a gift no brokenness can erase.

Lord, we bring this parent before you now. Steady their hands, sharpen their eyes, and give them the patience they need to restore what belongs to their son. Provide the right approach, the right tools, and, if necessary, the right person to lend a hand. Use this act of fixing to knit them closer together, and let the finished repair be a reminder that you are the one who makes all things new. We ask in Jesus’ name.

Your plea rises from a parent's heart, eager to restore what is precious to your son. This is no small thing, for a broken bone in the soul of a child is soon felt in the marrow of a father or mother. The object itself may be but wood or stone or metal, yet the love that would see it whole again is the true matter at hand. It is well you bring it before the Lord, for He who made the hands also grants the skill to mend what is shattered.

But let your thoughts run deeper still. There is a Break that mends all other breaks, a fracture that alone makes sense of every earthly repair. The bones which God breaks in us, our pride, our self-reliance, these He also makes to rejoice. Not merely to grow callous or painless, but to sing again with a strength not our own. If you would see that toy or tool restored, look first to the Restorer of broken hearts. He chose One whose own heart was broken, who died of that very rupture, that your son and you might be whole forever.

It may be that this small labor is a parable. A broken column stands in the graveyard of good intentions. Many a man sets out to follow Christ and leaves a ragged "but" where a life should have been. Let not your work of mending become such a half-finished thing. As you bend over that broken article, bend your soul lower still. Hear the Gospel in every nail driven straight, every joint made firm. The faith once delivered to the saints is called narrow, and I am weary of the breadth that comes from broken hedges. Repair the fence of your household with the same care you give your son's possession, that the Enemy find no gap to enter.

And what of your son himself? His treasure, once broken, may be restored. But is his peace with God as sure? The question is all-important: "Do you believe in the Son of God?" Not in the mending of toys, not in the skill of a parent, but in the Righteousness of Another. God looks upon us as if we had done what His Son has done. The arrows of the bow are broken in Zion, snapped by the risen Christ. Every fiery dart of wrath lies shattered around the empty tomb. If your hands fail, if the task proves beyond you, remember this: the worst breakage of all, the rupture between man and Maker, has been fully healed by blood and nail.

Go then, and work with your hands. But first, let the Lord speak peace to your heart through the Sacrifice of His dear Son. If you will not hear Him there, He will never speak peace anywhere. If you believe, even the common toil becomes sacred ground. And who knows? Perhaps through your patient labor, your son will see a glimpse of the Father who forgets our sins for the sake of Jesus. That is a mending worth more than a thousand perfect trinkets. Guide your heart in the way, and your hands will follow.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When you labor over a broken thing that belongs to your son, you reveal a father’s love that mirrors something of God’s own heart. Do not think such care is small or unseen, for Scripture assures us that God is not unrighteous to forget your work and the love you show toward His name, even in ministering to your own household. He who gave us His Son to restore all that sin had shattered will not despise the small restorations that reflect that greater mercy.

Recall the nobleman who came to Jesus, desperate for his dying son. He sought only a bodily healing, but he received far more: the boy lived, and the father believed, he and his whole house. So as you ask for skill to mend what is broken, set your hope not merely on the object, but on the One who mends souls. Do not seek this fix as if demanding a sign, but seek the health of your own heart and your son’s. Let this become a moment to train your eyes to look chastely upon all things, seeing that the fleeting stuff of earth points toward the unfading inheritance Christ has won for us.

I will join my prayers to yours, asking that if it is for your good, the Lord will give you success in your task. Yet pray also that through this small care, the Father who restored us from enmity to friendship may draw both you and your son closer to Himself, preserving you in that freshness of faith which no earthly moth or rust can destroy.

It is good that you brought this to the Lord. The broken thing that is important to your son is not too small for his notice. Our hearts get so easily wrapped up in what can be broken, and Scripture often uses that very image to teach us where lasting strength is found. The prophet once spoke of people forsaking the fountain of living water and hewing out cisterns for themselves, broken cisterns that can hold no water. So many of the things we lean on cannot sustain us in a crisis, yet the Lord’s care never fails.

Still, God also delights to restore. There was a time when his own temple had fallen into disrepair. For years the breaches were neglected, but when the matter was finally pursued with faithful and willing hands, the money was gathered and the house was repaired. The same God who oversaw that work can guide your hands now. Ask him for the wisdom, the patience, and the skill you need, and trust that he can make a way where your own resources fall short.

Above all, remember that every broken thing points us to the One who was broken for us. Jesus gave his body to be broken on our behalf, yet in a profound fulfillment not one of his bones was fractured, so that he might be the perfect, unblemished sacrifice. His heart was broken by sin, and through that brokenness we are healed. Because he bore that weight, you can come boldly before the throne in his name with this earthly repair, knowing he understands and carries your burden.

So I join my prayers with yours: Father, you see this item that means so much to this father and his son. Grant him the ability to fix what is broken, and more than that, use this moment to draw their hearts to you, the only foundation that cannot be shaken. In Jesus’ name, amen.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days concerning the item that is so meaningful to your son. It has been our heart’s desire to lift this need before the Lord, asking Him to grant you wisdom, skill, and favor as you seek to restore what is broken. We know how deeply this matters—not only to your son, but to you as well—and we have prayed that God would work in ways that bring peace, joy, and even testimony through this situation.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer in a way that brings restoration, we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. There is nothing like seeing God’s faithfulness in action, and your testimony could be a blessing to many others who are waiting on Him.

If the answer hasn’t yet come, or if the situation still feels unresolved, please know we are still here to stand with you. We invite you to post this request again so we can continue to intercede on your behalf. Sometimes the Lord works in ways we don’t immediately see, and we want to remain steadfast in prayer until His will is fully revealed.

May the Lord bless you and your family as you continue to trust in Him. He sees your heart, He knows your care for your son, and He is able to do exceedingly more than we could ask or imagine. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
