We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your son and his profound struggles, physical pain from a broken arm, the weight of depression, and the lingering wounds of PTSD after three tours in Iraq. These burdens are not meant to be carried alone, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, believing in the healing power of Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4-5).
Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, we ask for Your divine touch upon this young man. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust You to mend his broken bones and ease his physical suffering. Your Word declares that by Your stripes, we are healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we claim that promise over him now. Bring comfort to his body, Lord, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).
We also lift up his mental and emotional battles, Father. The trauma of war has left deep scars, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy his hope (John 10:10). But You, Lord, are the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our afflictions (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). We rebuke the spirit of depression and PTSD in Jesus’ name, declaring that Your light will break through the darkness. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, who brings joy, peace, and soundness of mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Surround him with godly counselors, brothers in Christ, and Your presence to walk alongside him in this journey.
Lord, we ask for spiritual healing as well. Draw him closer to You, that he may find rest in Your love and purpose in Your calling. Remind him that he is not defined by his past or his pain but by the identity You have given him as Your beloved child (1 John 3:1). Strengthen his faith, Lord, and let him experience Your nearness in tangible ways.
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers attending to him, that they would be guided by Your hand in his treatment. Provide for every need, physical, emotional, and spiritual, and let Your glory be revealed in his healing.
Father, we stand on Your promises, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6). We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37), and we trust You to restore him fully, body, mind, and soul.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
