Please 🙏 the my sons unemployment hearing goes in his favor today he's not perfect and I pray he gets a godly favor during his hearing, and also has employment opportunities come to him soon. I pray they are long term with great benefits and that he may bring Christ Jesus in his heart with humble gratitude and appreciation. Amen

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of hope and faith, lifting up your son and his unemployment hearing today. Father, we ask that You go before him, soften the hearts of those who will hear his case, and grant him favor in their eyes. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 21:1, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We trust that You can move even the most difficult circumstances for Your glory and his good.

Lord, we also pray for employment opportunities to open for him, jobs that are stable, honorable, and provide for his needs. May he find work that allows him to use his gifts and talents for Your purposes, and may he walk in integrity and diligence in whatever he does. We ask that You surround him with godly influences and mentors who can encourage him in his faith and his work.

Father, we are grateful for your prayer that he would bring Christ Jesus into his heart with humble gratitude. Salvation is the greatest gift, and we echo your desire that he would know the love and grace of our Savior. If he has not yet surrendered his life to Christ, we pray that today would be the day he turns to You in repentance and faith. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no other name by which we can be saved, and we pray he would come to know that truth deeply.

We also want to gently encourage your son to examine his life in light of Scripture. If there are areas where he has strayed from Your will, whether in his actions, attitudes, or relationships, we pray he would repent and seek Your forgiveness. Your Word is clear in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Restoration and healing come through humility and obedience to You.

Lord, we ask that You would strengthen your son’s faith during this time. Remind him that You are his Provider, and that even in uncertainty, You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). May he find peace in Your presence and trust in Your timing.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who intercedes for us even now. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We join you in lifting up your son today. Waiting on a hearing can feel heavy, and you’re carrying that with him in love, that means a great deal.

Losing a job or facing long unemployment hits deeper than finances alone. It often strikes a person’s sense of who they are. Your son may be cycling through frustration, hope, and discouragement in ways that are hard to name. That’s not weakness, it’s a very normal response. One of the most steadying things you can offer him right now is simply the space to talk about what this season is actually doing to him inside, not just what he plans to do next. Sometimes that kind of honest conversation can lift a little of the shame and help him see his worth is not on the line with one verdict.

If your church or community has a support group for job seekers, gently pointing him that way might give him both practical leads and people who understand. Even a short-term compromise, like taking on a different kind of work while continuing the search, can relieve pressure and protect hope.

Father, we ask for mercy and a fair outcome in today’s hearing. Surround this son with people who see his value, and open doors to steady work with the benefits he needs. Most of all, draw his heart toward You in humble trust, not just gratitude if things improve, but a quiet anchoring in Christ that sustains him no matter what comes next. We ask this in Jesus’ name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The mother’s grief and love are sacred things, and your prayer is not unnoticed in heaven. Yet, remember, our God is not hardhearted; it is we who are hardhearted. He delighteth in mercy, and when a soul is brought to utter bankruptcy of self, then may he believe in Jesus Christ and be saved. Pray that your son may so see himself as Job saw, ‘now mine eye seeth Thee, wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.’ For it is in this lowly place that God’s favor rests.

Seek for him the one thing needful: that he may hear the Gospel with heed, for faith cometh by hearing. If the Lord shall grant him spiritual hearing, then he will find Christ all in all. As for his temporal needs, trust and be not afraid. If God upheld Job in all his trials, He can surely support you and your son. The Eternal God is our dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms.

Continue to be a sweet savor of Christ in his life, and plead the precious blood. You are accepted in the Beloved, and from that place of favor you may boldly ask for his soul and his circumstances. May the Lord grant him the godly favor that begins with repentance and faith, and may his employment be a long and blessed season wherein he brings forth fruit meet for repentance, with humble gratitude to his Saviour.

You do well to bring this need before the Lord, but take heed that after you have prayed, you do not let the flame of zeal be quenched. When you leave this place of intercession, gather your household and open the Scriptures; let your son hear the Word and learn that true favor comes not from winning a hearing, but from humbling the heart before Christ. The one who believes on the Son has everlasting life, and it is far better to gain that than any earthly benefit. I hear many say they are awed while in prayer but become altered when they leave; do not let this happen. Let the psalms be on your lips instead of anxious thoughts, for the singing of psalms fills the soul with the Holy Spirit, while worldly fretting invites an unclean spirit of despair.

Consider the apostles: they were poor fishermen, mending broken nets, and from that low estate Christ called them. No work is too mean if it is done with gratitude and as unto the Lord. Teach your son that honest labor, even if it begins small, is honorable. The one who is faithful in little will be set over much. But if a man will not work, neither let him eat, yet if he is willing and humbly seeks, God will open doors. Do not fix your hope on long-term contracts and great benefits as though these were the greatest good. Seek first the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added. The true blessing is that your son might bring Christ into his heart with humble gratitude; that he acknowledge Jesus as the very Son of the living God, not with words of mere friendship but with a confession taught by the Father. If he does this, he will have a treasure no hearing can give or take away.

And remember, the threat of judgment is not to make him careless, but to awaken him to repentance. While there is time, let him wash away transgressions and flee from the wrath that already hangs over unbelief. You ask for favor today; the highest favor is that he might not see death but pass into life. Therefore do not cease to show mercy, you who can, and urge him into employment, but even more urge him to love virtue and to humble himself under the mighty hand of God. Great is the gain of humility in all things, spiritual and temporal. Persist in prayer, but add to it a life that reflects what you ask, and the Lord who sees in secret will reward you openly.

I join you in praying for your son today, lifting up that unemployment hearing and his whole situation to the Lord. Your heart as a mother comes through so clearly, and I know that ache and hope when a child faces uncertainty. It reminds me of the deep truth woven through Scripture that God understands a parent's love for a son. When He called Abraham to give up Isaac, He used words that cut right to the core: "your son, your only son, whom you love." That love is not lost on Him. And in that story, God provided a substitute at the last moment. He is still the God who provides.

Your prayer for godly favor and open doors is right where we need to be. Think of Leah in her distress, naming her son Simeon because the Lord had heard her cry. The name itself means "hearing." God is not distant from our pleas. He hears you now, and He hears the details of that hearing and the need for lasting work with good benefits. But as I pray with you, I find my mind drawn to a deeper hearing that every parent longs for their child.

There’s a beautiful moment in the gospels when Jesus asks a man born blind, "Do you believe on the Son of God?" That man’s physical eyes were opened, but Jesus was offering something far greater. You said your son is not perfect, none of us are, and you pray he would bring Christ into his heart with humble gratitude. That is the real, eternal favor. God has given us life in His Son. Scripture is clear: whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son does not have life. So while I stand with you for a favorable outcome today and for employment, I am also praying that your son would come to know Jesus as his Lord in a genuine way. That he would honor the Son, and in doing so, honor the Father who sent Him.

We see in Jesus the only begotten Son of God, yet the good news is that through faith we are brought in as adopted sons and daughters. Your desire for your son to have a secure and stable livelihood is natural and right, but how much more important that he takes hold of the eternal life found only in Christ. That humble gratitude you mentioned, that is the posture of someone who realizes they have been given far more than a job or a favorable ruling; they have been spared from the judgment we all deserve and made heirs of promise.

So be encouraged. The God who could heal a nobleman’s son with a word from miles away can reach into that hearing room and into your son’s heart. I pray for a just and merciful outcome, for open doors to long-term work with strong benefits, and above all, for the Spirit to stir faith in him. May he soon see the Lord’s goodness and answer the same question Jesus asked: “Do you believe on the Son of God?” With a heart that says yes, everything else falls into its proper place.
