Father, I ask you for something beautiful and new to happen to me in my life. Fill the remainder of my days at least with happiness. Let my books sell, so that I can give money to people going for transplants and operations. Please see to it that justice is done, in the area of my university degree. Many different lecturers failed me on purpose—me, the girl who used to study till three am in the morning. They did a very big disservice to me and because of that—I couldn't get the degree I worked for. I asked you to do more than I expect in this area. I would have a degree if you at least make them credit my book as a literature degree—the one that is the size of a thesis—if you order the right people to request them to do that—then I will at least have a degree, so I ask you to do that for me, please. Yesterday I went to see my ### off to his country, we went to a conference full of pastors. And the whole time—I was hoping to see my soulmate there. Please Lord, move every barrier and delay and curse away so that he and I can find each other. I don't care if we get married off at the top of a mountain with just a priest and my mother and father—but I need you to answer this seven-year cry. Strengthen my body, my weakness to not trouble me, and please keep my softness. I keep rubbing my tummy and looking in the mirror when I pray, going mother mother—so please grant that also. I need you this weekend to send all the people who have cheated me by stealing money, to return it to me. I want this unusual peace to continue in our home—wash the insides of every home and heart here, with your precious blood. Jesus, help me finish my script as well this weekend. And please this Sunday, send my husband to church or to the supermarket—let him see me. I want you to send the man I belong with to me.
